>> we do have winter weather advisory in effect for large portion of the area. it has been extended and expanded by the national weatheweather service now inclus center city philadelphia, runs until 2:00 this afternoon. the snow is starting to move it way in. it has been snowing for several hours in the poconos, snow spreading into the lehigh valley, berks county, returns a little deceiving, not all of this is hitting the surface, some evaporating, but as we continue to moisten up the atmosphere, it will be making it way down to the grounds. flakes flying right now from allentown being back into reading. closer to the city, initially will start as rainfall, and wintery mix, light in intensity, then we quickly change over to all snowfall looking well developed, that is headed eastbound, temperatures, right now, we are at the warmest, it is going to be all day. 43 degrees in philadelphia. we've been dropping off over the last several hours,

later today. forty-one year old sarah packer facing slew of charges after investigators say she and her boyfriends, 44 jerold jacob sullivan, conspired and killed her 14 year old daughter grace pack nerve july. describe the gruesome murder as thick fantasy thought up by the two. could face the death penalty if convicted. >> jury slicks continues in the eric frein murder trial. he appeared at chester county court yesterday. frein is of course accused of killing one pennsylvania state trooper and wounding another at the bloom inning grove barracks in pike count any 2014. the case received media coverage and the jurors being picked from chester county. >> police investigating paint ball attacks that left two victims injured in northwest philadelphia. five incidents were reported in less than 24 hours tuesday and wednesday. four people were shot in roxborough, another in germantown. a teenage boy was shot in the stomach and one man needed six stitches to his eye. resident called "eyewitness news," the neighborhood on

reduce in the reading still looking good across the i95 corridor, starting to see some returns, the snow coming down in the poconos, lehigh valley, berks county, right now. continuing to saturate the atmosphere, some of the returns a bit deceiving. some evaluate g before hitting the surface, back into reading, also some returns over philadelphia, green, right now, this happens with the radar it, shoots out on an angle. from the face of the radar. sometimes picture of the mid levels of the atmosphere, not the surface, so do have moisture coming in, and soon it will be falling in center city philadelphia, could briefly start as rain, but a lot of snow up wind. it will quickly change over, a lot of the moisture, moving its way eastbound from central pennsylvania, so on the road, it will be a tough day for your morning commute. wintery mix, trains action over to snow, the earlier you can lever the better, lunchtime still lingering snow showers, then as we head into the second half of the day, scattered snow squawls to impact our afternoon commute. headed into the 7:00 hour,

that snowfall getting going along i-95. spreading it way southeast bound headed into the 8:00 hour, by 9:00 pushing into south jersey, by the 11:00 hour, snow pushing itself into our shore points, and by the late morning we could see some snowfall heavy at times in philadelphia. south jersey, and our shore point, and as we head into the afternoon, that uniform precipitation will tail off, but then have the scattered snow squawls come in, late day, will start to kind of dissipate as we head after sunset, but it is going to be tough did i waiter wise for all of us across the delaware vale of the as far as snowfall accumulations, three to 6 inches every snowfall up toward the lehigh valley and poconos, across much of the area picking up about one to 3 . south jersey and our shore points, picking up coating to inch of snowfall through the day today. all right, lauren, thank you so much. we know that snow is on the way, we will have to leave little early. a lot of you doing so, roadways for friday morning actually looking pretty busy. i want to pull your attention to this gorgeous live chopper

portions of berks county, you can see that, and along the i9 the a corridor picking up on some returns, some hitting the surface corks briefly start as rainfall as we were expecting but the rain-snow line it is right there. so as we head into the 9:00 hour, snow coming down, heavy at times, 37 degrees. still some snow showers into the lunch hour, winds will be picking up for the second half of the day. and by the 5:00 hour, scattered snowfall working through the area with windy conditions, as far as accumulations through the day today, poconos, remember, it is arrange, forecast, as little as 3 inches potentially as much as 6 inches every snowfall in the lehigh vale, could pick upward of 4 inches, down the shore could get as little as nothing but could get as much as one to 2 inches in some spots. any amount of liquid or snowfall on the roadways makes for tricky travel. >> lauren, thank you so much. right now we're actually looking at the delaware river bridge. we've got live chopper three over this gorgeous shot here. showing you that the delaware river bridge is now open. that's right.

wintery mix here in allentown. this is a real wet snow. in fact, so wet, i had to change my gloves. they were absolutely soaked. but take a look, it is actually accumulating on these grassy surfaces here. fortunately, though, as we take a look over on the road here, it is not accumulating on the road, which is very great news. but it does appear to be little like slick over there. but another thing i want to mention, seat visibility little tough right now. kind of a misty, wintery, haze going on. so this is definitely a head light and windshield wiper type of day. out here we were able to talk to a few people out and b see lot of cars out and about. having to go to work this friday morning. really mix bad this wintery come back. take a listen. >> oh, i love snow. i go out and play in it. i have great time with it. my little truck, only two wheel drive. i get to work all right. >> so you don't like this snow right snow. >> not right now. couple of weeks ago maybe it would have been fine, but right now, no, don't like it

on wednesday night "eyewitness news" first told but nationwide outage that prevented at&t wireless customers from calling 911. now the fcc is investigating, delaware, chester, montgomery counties were getting just busy signal or lines kept drinking -- ringing. it started about 7:30 and wasn't fixed until about 10:30. non-emergency numbers in the county, alternate numbers should be able to work around the problem. >> the last thing we want is anybody to be delayed getting help. so if you can't get through to the service, get a neighbor, get a friend to make them aware. >> at this point at&t has not said what caused the 911 outage. >> healthcare moves front and center when president trump meets with key house committee chairs today. yesterday the republican planned to repeal and replace the affordable care act, cleared two committees, but conservatives are slow to back it, and democrats oppose it. the house expected to vote the week of march 20th.
