this is cbs-3 "eyewitness news." tonight at 11:00 we are watching and waiting a cold and calm night before a big winter storm watch is coming this week. as you spring forward tonight, mother nature has some other ideas in mind. plus near tragedy at a nicetown chinese restaurant. a 13 year old boy is fighting for his live tonight following horrific shooting caught on crystal clear video. we'll show how police are looking for at this hour. >> good evening, i'm natasha brown, thank you so much for joining us it, may be a calm and cold saturday night out there. but the frigid feeling is something that we are watching very slowly in the cbs-3 weather center. this may be the calm before the storm as we mentioned already. let's check in with justin drabick joining us with a look what we can spec from this approaching nor'easter, right, justin? >> good evening, something we haven't had all winter long, persistent cold air,in,ing it it is moving in and sticking

around, until then leading up to it, quiet, 27 in philadelphia at this hour. we will be dropping to 21, similar to what we were dealing with this morning. two's, doylestown, quakertown, battling nasty wind wheels, feeling like teens for most locations, minus three mount pocono, factor in the wind. there you go, storm scan3, not much happening. mainly clear skies right now, clouds passing through the overnight hours into your sunday, overall not bad finish to the weekends. we move into monday night, winter storm watch goes into effect the majority of the region, extreme coastline here, cape may county new jersey, potential for some significant snowfall for parts of the area. all going to be dependent on the track, coastal low monday night, tracks up the coast, near the coast, that would push heavy snow further inland, if it stays off the coats, bringing heavier snow bit further to the south. the question still stands, where does it go?

probably another 24 hours, we can pinpoint, talk more about these tracks and timing of the storm coming up in a few minutes. back to you. >> justin, thanks, see you soon. manhunt is on for two suspect wanted in the execution style shooting of 13 year old in philadelphia's nicetown neighborhood. right now that teenage boy is fighting for his life. "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff live in the cbs-3 sat center with new information in the search for these gunmen. >> reporter: police are hoping the high quality surveillance video they were able to obtain will help lead them to the shooter and his accomplice, due to the extremely graphic nature of this crime, we've been supplied with photos. friday and 10:30 p.m., 13 year old boy grabbing food with friends inside the newly opened goldfish take out restaurant from the 2,000 block of west hunting pork avenue in the nicetown section of the city. as the teen took the seat two, malls walked in. photos taken from high quality

footage, investigators say immediately after taking part in a quick conversation with the boy, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the young teen in the head at point blank range. the gunmen and accomplice ran off, the boy found unresponsive by first responders and returned to temple hospital. no bun else was injured. now open again for business owners of the business declined to comment on the horrifying experience. >> again, police are still searching for the two men seen in those surveillance videos. if i one who might recognize them, please contact philadelphia police. reporting live in the sat center, alexandria hoff, cbs-3, eyewitness news. >> alex, thank you so much. also tonight philadelphia police detectives are investigating a suspicious death in hunting park. someone discovered the body of an unidentified person along railroad tracks, "eyewitness news" which is his a hick on and ruffner. police responded to the scene about 4:00 this afternoon, and right now there is no word on

how the person died or the circumstances surrounding the death. >> also tonight we do continue to follow developments out of old city philadelphia where 20 more bodies were recovered at construction site near the betsy ross house. "eyewitness news" first told you about this discovery on thursday. dozens of coffins were unearthed on arch street between second and third street. now researchers from rutgers university are analyzing the remains including the bodies discovered today. at least three dozen wooden coffins have already been found at the site from the first baptist church burial grounds. >> and folks in one neighborhood in west philadelphia had their weekend interrupted by fire and smoke as a warehouse went up in flames at 62nd and arch. at least eight homes were evacuated as philadelphia firefighters battled this blaze. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan caught up with some folks who were displaced. >> thick smoke filled the streets at 62nd and arch, philadelphia firefighters battled fire instead of burning warehouse saturday

morning. first crew arrived around quarter after 9:00. within an hour, became a three alarm fire. >> my daughter called me, she said the house was on fire. >> the house had to be evacuated. crews try to prevent the fire from spreading from the warehouse across the al toy a block of row homes. >> yes, the explosion cents, back, and then the fire, flames starting coming out after that. >> dusty william's house appeared to have the most damage. >> they had to go on the first, to get the fire out. >> at least 20 people were evaculated. some watched as firefighters sprayed water from many angles. the mist turned to ice. >> i'm so -- >> below freezing temperatures were hazardous to victims and firefighters, warming station was provided. >> we brought in septa buses, to have a place where we could go and do all of our work and have a place for people to go right now. >> fire officials declared the fire under control by noon.

they say home saving efforts were mostly successful and in one was injured. still residents were cold and worried. >> everybody is very supportive on the block. we all stick together. it is like a family block anyway. so i mean we will get through it. >> officials with the red cross says it will take time to determine who can go home tonight. but they say they do have plans in place to provide shelter. in west philadelphia, i'm cleve bryan, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." sad news in the world of music. joni sledge, founding member of the popular group sister sledge, died on friday night. family confirmed the sad news on sister sledge facebook page, quote, we miss her and hurt for her presence, her raid yens, the sincerity which she loved and embraced life. that's what they said in their post. joni sledge was zero six years old. >> and student actors at cherry hill high school east have launched controversial performances of the musical rag time t includes scenes

where they utter racial slurs. the musical started on friday night, as "eyewitness news" has been reporting, cherry hill school district originally deleted the lines from the script, but reversed its decision after getting input from parent and community leaders. strict lesson plans to help student add l -- handle the racial issues in rag time. >> police say apple juice search to couple of children at lancaster county restaurant is not what burned their mouths and their throats. we first told but this story on monday. police in east lancer township say the juice was not contaminated by the manufacturer, they believe now that the unidentified substance that made the kids sick was either introduced into the apple juice after it was poured from the container or ingested separately from the beverage. >> switching gears a bit, tonight the villanova

values to the single digits, same deal tomorrow headed out early you need the full on winter weather gear. the numbers from 12 up in the poconos to near 30 along the coast this hour. northwest wind still bringing in the cold air. there is a lot of told air in place across new england. thirteen in albany, 18 in buffalo. and this will stick around really for several days, stays in place, in time to meet up with the next storm system. quiet storm scan3. high pressure dominating the northern half of the country, clouds will roll through the overnight hours, for your sunday, one storm passes by to the south. not really the system that will impact us early next week. now, remember, turning the clocks ahead one hour, daylight saving time begins tomorrow at 2:00 a.m. so sunset tomorrow night coming in at 7:04. it will be dark in the morning, too, when you get up, sunrise coming up after 7:00. something we haven't seen all winter long, favorable pattern for snowstorm, snow lovers, what you want to see.

high pressure over canada, locking in cold air. system moves in sunday. tracks midwest. nice little drop in the jet stream. that storm system tracks up the east coast runs into the cold air, so we do have potential to see heavy snow for parts of the mid-atlantic and northeast, someone will probably get over a foot of snow from the system. where that sets up still the question. so we're in the favorable pattern, jet stream, late season snow, cold air is in place, certainly plenty of available atlantic moisture. trying to time it out for you looks like precipitation arrives monday night, by midnight, tuesday probably the heaviest, tuesday morning, overall potential for over 6 inches every snow, through the delaware valley, hyatt set up, depends exact track. still, sleet and rain for part of the area, especially south of the city. that will would cut down accumulations, winds will kick up along the coast, coastal flooding tuesday. like i said,
