travel conditions as high temperatures will struggle, as far as the precipitation, most of that has moved off our nor'easter to the north and east a few scatter the snow showers parts of delaware like we didn't have enough today, as far as snowfall total, monroe county picking up 19 inches. lehigh county picking up over 15 inches, bethlehem 14, drexel hill five and a half inches of snowfall, more coming up in a little bit later in the show. also along the i95 corridor we saw snow. we saw sleet. we saw freezing rain, we saw an ice accumulations delaware three ten. of an inch of ice, county buy t.2, winds speeds don power lines, check out some of the rainfall totals, two, three,

four inches of rain in atlantic city, breaking a daily rainfall record, and everyone despite the precipitation you saw, saw the gusty winds, well into the 40 miles per hour range, upwards of 60 miles per hour along the coast, the concern, the falling temperatures, temperatures down into the 20's, for tonight and tomorrow morning, slush and snow freezing and icy conditions on untreated roads, use extreme caution through the day tomorrow, high temperatures aren't going to get above freezing >> if you plan to dig your car out. the snow is hard as ice because of the temperature plunge. david spunt is in allentown with more on the icy concerns. david? >> reporter: ice is the big story, a lot of snow here all 20's hours snow not falling anymore, the clean-up continues and that's why authorities and school officials have cancelled school tomorrow for a second day

in a row. it's clean-up time in allentown after a snowfall that lasted almost 20 hours straight with just a few small breaks. >> there's a lot of crazy stuff going on. people can't take they are cars out. >> reporter: resident carlos a has three kids who will be home tomorrow because of the snow. he says it's the right decision. >> anything can happen. you know what i mean? you want your kids safe and at home. >> reporter: we spotted residents digging out around town, they have a lot of snow to work with. our cameras were there in the middle of the night when the heavy stuff started to fall. >> this is horrible. >> reporter: she's lived on her allentown street since a cosmid she seen her share of storms on this street, we found her and dog outside. she says having another day off school and in some cases work just makes sense. >> they're not point taking risks. let them have a good time, give everything a little break and it

bilo today. and you've had quite a day. >> yes, indeed, and still smiling. >> temperatures are just plummeting. >> that's causing a big problem, because of the snow today. freezing rain, rain in some areas and all about precipitation, no matter what type you got today. it is go going to free frees overnight. the national weather service issued the winter weather advisory, it's not for falling precipitation. falling snow, it's actually for that potential of blowing and drifting snow overnight tonight because of the strong wind speeds and the snowfall and primarily snowfall north and west of the city, this winter weather advisory runs until 6:00. trouble on the roadways throughout the overnight period through the morning commute. through much of the day tomorrow. hazardous travel. frozen slush and snow. down the shore you saw rain but

your temperatures are dropping into the 20's, the ponding on the roadways, that is going to freeze over. we're going to dealing with gusty winds and the potential for blowing snow to the north and west of the city. but seeing a little bit of a break in the cloud deck in center city philadelphia, 25 degrees west winds whipping up around 18 making it feel like 11. stormscan 3 showing us pretty quiet conditions. main precipitation to the north, now that the nor'easter ejected off to the north and east a couple of flurries trying to develop. but we have more than a couple of flurries in mount pocono. two feet of snow. the high total allentown 14 inches close to that. perkasie, 11 inches, philadelphia at the international airport, half foot. mt. holly picking up over five inch, wind gusts still elevated around 33 miles an hour in philadelphia, gusting to 35 in mount pocono, near 40 in dover, that is creating problems with the blowing snow. creating problems with that feels like temperature, feels

like six below in mount pocono, feeling like four in reading. feeling like 11 degrees in philadelphia and temperatures are down into the teens in the poconos, well down into the 20's in the lehigh valley, where we'll drop to the teens, down the shore, temperatures are sub freezing. as we led to overnight. falling down to 22, windy and frigid few flakes possible. tomorrow scattered snow showers, high temperature not making it to freezing, we're not going to do freezing, future weather, could see snow showers in the morning, scattered. not everyone going to see the snow showers, we could be dealing with snow squalls, we know the drill, they greatly reduce visibility quickly do watch out for that. for all evening commute and once we move past sunset those will start to die down, down the shore in the poconos, another bitter cold day with high temperatures not making it above the freezing mark. and only top in the teens in the
