speeds, no speed restrictions that i'm aware of. i wouldn't think so. so travel at posted speeds for sure. also, we've got some snow removal here, pa turnpike between virginia driver and norristown, ah, still traveling at posted speeds, but you won't see it progress through the morning, if our crews are out, there be mindful of them. construction clues out there, as well, 611 old york road, bullet letter avenue. these lanes will be blocked until 7:00 a.m. so right in the heart of rush hour when that begins. they'll just be moving out of the way. then we've got a downed tree here. downed tree, and wires delaware, faulk lands road closed between woods road and marilyn drive. alternate is kirkwood highway, see you in about ten minutes. >> new this morning, philadelphia police are building a time line after a man is found shot in overbrook. >> a driver got out of his mini-van and found the victim in the driveway. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live near the scene. good morning, jan. >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning. not only that, the driver said he was trying to make his way home when it felt like that

his van was dragging something. so he pulled over into a driveway, right behind me here in overbrook. got out every his van, only to find a body underneath his vehicle. police and medics called to the scene, turns out, that victim had been shot. he was pronounced dead on the scene. you can see here this morning, a bit dark, police are still on the scene investigating exactly what happened. but most of the activity has moved on. that body was removed about a half hour ago now. the glue some discovery was made just before midnight here in the 1,000 block of north 68th street. police actually responded for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car. but when they got here, they found that victim lying in the driveway and realized he had also been shot at least once in the head. medics again pronounced him dead on the scene. now during the investigation, police say, it appears the victim is actually dragged about 100 feet before the driver pulled into the driveway and noticed the body. police are now calling this a homicide. and during the investigation, they followed a trail of blood to find number of other spent

shell casings here at the scene, also now conducting interviews. take a listen. >> fifty-one year old driver of the mini-van remained on location. he's fully cooperating with police. he has been transported to homicide where he is being investigated and interviewed by homicide detectives. >> now police here on the scene go on to say they don't believe this driver had anything to do with the shooting. at this point they're not commenting on motive. the male victim also not been identified, but jim, rahel, seems to be a bizarre scenario, driver trying to make his way home only to find out he ran over someone, who had been shot in the head. we're reporting live in overbrook this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," back into you. >> so bizarre, jan, thank you, back to you. >> rahel, german chancellor merkel meets with president trump at the white house today will hold joint news conference, yesterday was busy day at the white house, released budget blueprint. as hena daniels reports
