of the looks in the live neighborhood network, looks like traffic is in fact moving along pretty smoothly right now. it really does look like i know it is dark, but in the distance thereunder the street lamps looks like the roads have cleared out pretty nicely. 27 degrees there. the winds very modest, we'll take that, because even though it is still cold, it is a lot less harsh, you don't have to contend with real strong winds. storm scan, nice and quiet all clear, looking good, lot of sunshine throughout the day at least. 28 degrees here in philadelphia. at the moment, 19 up at mount pocono. the rest of the afternoon, here today, i think you're talking sunshine, all across the region. low mid 40's, both at the shore and here in philadelphia. up in the mountains, nothing better than about 32 degrees. but coming up: we had mentioned the chance for snow. don't bridge. you might miss the sunshine guys. because later tonight, that system does make it arrival, bridges with it probably a mixed bag. some rain, some snow, and some sleet. so coming up we will talk about who gets what, how much are we talking, when does it get out of here, all of the

important questions answered. >> that will be good to know, thank you so much. i think i see trouble when i say done with the snow and ice, so good to see the four's back. it will melt some of the stuff that we're still dealing with even this morning, guys, accident out there, blue route southbound, off ramp to west chester pike, and this hasn't been the only incident this morning. there is a string of stuff that's been happening, because the ice is still out there. it will play a factor no matter what. we have an accident here in somerton, byberry road, ever and street. another accident in souderton, main street at west walnut st.ment vehicle went right into a pole earlier, talking about another vehicle that just missed the pole. that's now since been cleared. but goes to show you again how slippery it is. then also talking about some snow removal, because it is still out there. pa turnpike westbound between virginia driver and norristown. heads up there. still traveling at posted speeds, but you might not be for too much longer. also, construction here, 611 old york road butler avenue. lanes will be blocked right up until around 7:00 a.m. jim, over to you. >> thank you, meisha. new this morning, bizarre

murder investigation in philadelphia's overbrook neighborhood. >> driver felt like something was dragging under his car, and when he got out, his machine i van, he saw what it was, man who had been. who jan carabeo live near the scene with what police are calling very bizarre case, jan, good morning. >> rahel, jim, good morning, what a strange scenario, we're talking about today, as you mention, this man driving home overnight, suddenly felt like something was under his car, his van. it could have been trash? he pulled over into a driveway here on this block in overbrook, take a look at what it was, and he saw it was actually a body underneath his vehicle. it also turns out that victim was shot. police have since removed that person's body and wrapped up their work here on the scene. now trying to figure out exactly what happened. now, the gruesome discovery was made just before midnight here in the 1,000 block of north 68th street. police actually responded for a report after pedestrian, being hit by a car, when they got here, they found that victim lying in the driveway, the driver had remained on the

scene, and they realize the victim was shot at least once in the head. medics pronounced him dead here at the scene, meantime, police followed a trail of blood and found number of spent shell casings down the block. police say it appears the victim was shot there. and that at some point later the victim was dragged about 100 feet by that driver, before the driver pulled into the driveway and noticed the body. police are now calling this a homicide because that man was shot in the head. they're also now conducting interviews. >> fifty-one year old driver of the mini-van remained on location. he's fully cooperating with police. he has been transported to homicide where he's being investigated and interviewed by homicide detective. >> police also go on to say they don't believe that driver had anything to do with the shooting. this is all under investigation. they've not released a male victim's name at this point. they're also not talking about a motive right now. just seems to be bizarre case of a man driving home from work trying to get home for some sleep when he realized

that he was dragging someone's body. reporting live in overbrook, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," rahel, jim, back to you. >> thank you, jan. president trump hosting german chancellor merkel at the white house today, will talk about the european union, nato, russia's increasing aggression, earlier the president unveiled the blueprint for his first budget. 1.15 trailed spending plan, also money for down payment on wall along the mexican border, where funding for immigration detention facilities, and veterans programs, but part of the cabinet agencies would see major cuts. >> the white house standing by president trump's accusation that president obama wiretapped trump tower. press secretary sean spicer cited reporters for their assessment of the wiretapping claim on incomplete information. intelligence committee has released statement declaring that trump tower was not the subject of surveillance by the government.

>> well, a bill pressuring president trump release his tax returns when he seeks re-election now heading to new jersey governor chris christie. the democrat led assembly has okay a bill that would require the president or any presidential candidate to disclose tax returns to get on the ballot. christie is a long time of the president. >> let's move onto sports now, and march madness. >> as the basketball tournament continues, our resident expert pat gallen to tell us how the wildcats -- >> that was a scary one, right? sweat ago little bit with that one? yes, rounds one of the ncaa tournament one of the best days in all of sports. you never know what you will get. top seeded villanova wildcats got all they could handle for much of their opening match up against the 16 seed mountain ears of the mount saint mary. buffalo took nova over six minutes to score the first points, elijah long did not miss this triple. mount saint mary jump out to ten-two start. brunson to the rescue here.

your way through this very tight quarters here between the little pieces here, so-so thrilled to have them in house. i'll be taking pictures right after the weather hit. let's get to it. outside in the poconos, shot up at camelback, where they've got plenty of fresh powder out there, obviously, from the nor'easter that came through couple of days ago, ended up actually with about 30 inches up at jack frost, bick boulder, 20 inches of fresh powder in camelback. meanwhile ski report, several of the pocono ski resort as such being looking good. only one spot, actually two spots, just un their full trails open. that's big boulder as well as blue mountain, regardless you've gotham recall trails currently open. and fresh snow actually on the way. now, nothing like the totals we saw with the nor'easter, see the storm system we're talking about off to the west. technically, technically a clipper, but little bit of hybrid system by the time it reaches us. take a look, early tomorrow morning, so you get the whole day in today without a hitch. early tomorrow morning, we

meantime modest warming trends is still very likely. meisha, we send it into you, how are the roads locking? >> thank you so much. they're getting busy. looking at accident here, 995 south at girard, i can tell you first, won't be the only one of the morning, been like this since 4:00 in the morning, 95 south at girard, one area where it is getting very very slow on this friday morning, give yourselves some extra time in that area. and also, we do have a fire here, just meanting this up teddies being, colonel avenue right now closed from university ave. and purdue avenue. use an alternate. grape town road will be your best bet in that area. also that's not it. we have another accident and construction kind of in the same area here, horsham road, accident, then construction crews here, old york road at butler avenue. they'll be out there until 7:00 a.m. we also have another accident, souderton, still out there, main street at west walnut st. a vehicle went right into a people. earlier we saw the same thing happening. that's long since cleared. but letting you know how slippery it still is out

"eyewitness news" reporter trang do live on market street where, trang, ice has actually been falling from he'd becomes. that can't be good. good morning. >> well good morning, rahel, jim. it didn't take very long for our cameras yesterday to capture ice falling from buildings, police had to close off this portion of market street behind me in front of the loews hotel as a precaution to protect pedestrians from falling ice. >> look out, look out. >> people walking around center city have to worry about ice on the ground, and from above. >> so there was couple of pieces that dropped about a minute ago and they came down with a crash. >> bill from jenkintown chose to walk this is the street to avoid the walking ice.

>> templet mt tragedy in new york city veteran worker and mother of five dead this morning after being run over by her own ambulance. hena daniels with more on the shocking story. >> in this cell phone video, shot by a bystander, see the ambulance lights flashing and the driver side door swinging wildly. moments after 44 year old was run down and dragged by her own stolen ambulance. police say it happened a little after 7:00 p.m. thursday night when two emt's were on their way it a call and learned a man was riding on their back bumper. that's when aroya stopped to get out and see what was happening. >> when they noticed that, they tried to get him out of the ambulance, he put in reverse, we know our emt's are brave, they do crucial work, they save lives, but they should not ever have to be subjected to violence. and yet a danger always exists

for them. >> late last night, new york city firefighters lined the streets, and saluted aroya, mother of five, as her body draped in a american flag was taken to the medical examiners office. she was 14 year veteran of the force. hena daniels, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> meanwhile in other news second child has died from a harrisburg fire that officials say was likely caused by a hoverboard. ten year old savannah dominick burned over 95% of her body in last friday's fire. three year old was also killed as was a firefighter who was killed in a car crash on the way to that fire. funeral services for lieutenant are scheduled for today. the us product safety commission says that the death of the very first link to hoverboards. >> investigators are trying to get stolen jewelry back to the rightful owners on the main line. prosecutors showed off some of the 50,000 pieces they allege
