here, so holding on strong it, won't and big deal. we may see wet snowflakes, maybe in the city but mainly north the lehigh valley, poconos, for the best shot of snow. won't cause a whole lot of problems. will be chance of snow all the way through the overnight hours into sunday morning, won't be snowing the whole time during the day. break it down, weak system passing by, clouds over the city, few light rain showers, even some drizzle from the city on southward, mix of some wet snowflakes, north right now. thirty-nine at the airport in philly. may drop another degree or so, that's about it, so we are staying above freezing, no real concern, many slick spots, light precipitation on storm scan3, not all even reaping the ground. going north of the city looks like north of the turnpike, northeast extension, as well, start to get maybe few pocket of light snow. but there are breaks. like i said, there will be times where we see nothing but clouds, and get a round of some light snow, rain. be there will a winter weather advisory that goes into

advisory at 8:00 for berks county, lehigh valley and poconos, until 6:00 a.m. for the off and on snow showers, maybe get light accumulation on non-paved surfaces, car tops, that's about it, look at the temperatures, 30's in the lehigh valley, 40 wilmington, but poconos, best shot for accumulation on the grounds. thirty quakertown, 28 doylestown. so the windchills values, not that bad. light breeze out there, bringing the temperatures down to the upper 20's washings it really feels like in the lehigh valley. today mid 40's for highs, off and on showers at times, poconos, light snow at times, temperatures right around freezing, we talk about drier finish to the weekends, will it ever warm up? the seven day in a few minutes. >> i hope so, thanks, justin following breaking news out of paris this morning. a man who grabbed soldier's gun at orally airport has been shot to death by police. french officials say security evacuate dollars the airport, avoid those to avoid while the police operation was underway there. passengers were not allowed to

leave their aircraft. back at home, new this morning, accident involving a truck in northeast philadelphia has sent two people to the hospital. police say the truck lost control at frankford avenue and stand wick street split ago utility pole knocking out power in that area. there is no word on how serious the injuries are. police are investigating how the crash happened. >> and pennsylvania state police are investigating a two car crash on the schuylkill schuylkill, this crash happened just after 1:00 this morning in the westbound lanes near the exit to girard avenue. investigators say the impact of the collision overturned one of the cars. one person is now in the hospital. >> well, food truck owners will now on high alert after a series of robberies. and now owners are taking caution to avoid becoming the next victim. anita oh, live at police headquarters this morning, to tell us more about it. >> high there, jan, food truck operators are heading home earlier than usual, after two armed robberies in west

philadelphia, the good news is, the suspects caught on surveillance videoment take a good look at this man, philadelphia police believe he is responsible two food truck robberies in west philadelphia just two hours, monday. >> the first incident happened 6:30 p.m. monday near 43rd and walnut streets, the second at 8:30 same night at 34th and lancaster avenue. >> right to the back door, not even paying attention, takes the money then leaves. >> so close, so pricing, because all of this area has change add lot in the last 20 years for the better. >> now weary food truck operators are taking measures to make sure this doesn't happen to them. >> i saw my dad, we should leave early, not at 9:00 or 10:00. because like it could happen

at any time. so me and him are leaving like right now. >> and in both instances police say a waiting car drove the suspect away. they believe these two people live in the area, how easily they were able to navigate. meantime, police say the suspect is described as black male, between five-six and five-eight. anyone with information is asked to call police. live at police headquarters, anita oh, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> all right, anita, thank you. a fire has damaged a house in south philadelphia, chopper three over the 2400 block of south franklin street where firefighters responded around 8:30 last night, there are no reports of any injuries. the cause of the fire is under investigation. a short time later firefighters rush to burning row home in north philadelphia. chopper three over the 2700 block of north crosskeys street, where the call came in just before 9:00 last night. no word on how this fire started, and no reports of injuries here. >> police are now looking for this man, who was accused of

exposing himself at the chester county library in exton. west whiteland township officers say a woman reported that the man performed allude act while inside the library on wednesday. officers say the man they're looking for was captured on this surveillance video as he was leaving. anyone with information is asked to call police. >> a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run in montgomery county is now under arrest. twenty-eight year old adam simbareo charged with leaving the scene of an accident in a accident that called burnell, crossing schumaker road in pottstown, where his pick-up truck struck him. he was pronounced dead at the scene. a preliminary hearing for him is schedule for march 31. >> and former pennsylvania state trooper is now facing charges in the 2014 shooting death of his pregnant wife. thirty-six year old joseph miller was arraigned on two counts of involuntary manslaughter. investigators say miller

fatally shot his wife joanna in the family's east norriton home on march, in march of 2014. he and the baby both died after an emergency c-section. authority say miller told them his gun discharged as he was preparing to clean it. miller resigned from his job with the state police. >> president trump is spend being the weekend at his florida estate. but before he left washington, he tried to would conservative lawmakers with his healthcare plan, he deaned philadelphia his claim president obama spied on him. craig boswell has the latest. >> during a press conference with german chancellor angela merkel, president trump took his nearly two week old claim that the obama administration spied on him one step further. >> as far as wiretapping, i guess, you know, this past administration, at least we have something in common perhaps. >> he was apparently referring to obama surveillance of

feeling like it. temperatures overall staying cool over the next seven days. we will talk about that in the extended forecast. there you go, current look at storm scan3, clouds, moving on in, casino every held the temperatures up in a lot of spots, hanging around 40 degrees, colds spots in the suburbs, light snow showing up on radar, done mean it is reaching the ground, but probably wet snowflakes mixed in, break to the west, precipitation across western pennsylvania, needs to come through. off and on rain and snow showers, depending where you are. during the day not expecting whole lot of accumulation, maybe light accumulation later tonight. specially in the poconos. possibly the lehigh valleyment poconos pretty much staying all snow throughout the day into nighttime hours. berks, lehigh valley, you guys under winter weather advisory starting 8:00 this morning, little light snow, change to go rain, then back to snow later tonight. philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, rain, ending as snow, overnight tonight, then the shore, delaware, south jersey, mainly rain, maybe get few sleet pellets, wet snowflakes, overnight tonight, really

doesn't amount to anything. temperatures upper three's, around 40 degrees, south jersey, delaware, at the shore low 40's, atlantic city wildwood, around philadelphia, surrounding suburbs, hanging out mid upper 30's, cold spot to the north and west, where you have the thicker snow pack, sitting at freezing in quakertown, doylestown, 28 degrees, 24 in mount pocono. poconos probably don't get above freezing today. so as we go through time, check out the model where that cold air is, north of the city, you get the lighter snow. berks, lehigh vale, where they issue the winter weather advisory, most accumulations probably on non-paved surfaces, going to be pretty much on the lighter side. then see rain, majority of the region into the afternoon, catch a break in the evening, and the storm starts to ram up as it moves off shore. so on the back side, we get the cooler air returning, so still some wet snowflakes flying in the lehigh valley, possible far south as city overnight, again, accumulations look pretty minimal, get anything mainly on the grassy areas. tomorrow afternoon looks good, see the sunshine returning,

model forecast you see best chance for the light accumulation, maybe coating to up an inch, lehigh valley, poconos could be two, 3 inches, good news, ski resorts, not much of anything, south of the city. today, well above freezing, mid 40's, tonight, colder again, drop below freezing, in some of the suburbs, few slick spots on untreated surfaces but so much on the grounds i think we're in good shape. tomorrow still running good 10 . shower at time today, snow showers to the north, high of 44 degrees, tonight gets cooler again, see the rain showers ending as snow showers. then the extended forecast, 50 for the high on the first day of spring, still below average. tuesday seasonably at 54, our warmest day, hanging out in the 40's for the next week. again looks like things quiet down, no big storms to talk about. >> that's good, thanks, justin. on the health watch now, new hope for stroke patients. jamie yuccas tells us about an experimental treatment that uses stem cells. >> christopher little woke up three years ago, and couldn't move his left side.

>> i know it happened between 10:00 at night and 4:30 in the morning when my phone oral large went off for work. and i couldn't get out every bed. >> turns out he suffered a stroke, by the time he got to the hospital it was too late for current treatment to work. doctors told him about an experimental option at the cleveland clinic using stem cells. >> the treatment called multi stem involves donor adult stem cells grown in the lab which are given to the patient through iv. >> stem cells, change, new response of the body to the stroke. and it will turn down the immune response. >> new study in the journal lancit neurology looked at 129 patients. half got the stem cells, half a placebo, researchers found those who received the cells within 36 hours had better recovery at one year including chris. >> we don't know fully, but we

up the community heartache when camden county loan revolutionary era home suddenly leveled. dedicated in 1764 above the little timber creek in bellmawr, the now former glover house had a coveted location, but more recently that same location served its demise in the way of the massive 76, 295 realignment project, was torn down to make room for a sound barrier. >> they need to be held accountable for their actions. >> now preservationists blind sided by the demolition were hit again while on their way to pick up some artifact, salvaged from the home's rubble. >> we get a home from one of our elected officials got a call, well, we won't -- >> the new jersey department of transportation back out due to pending litigation. but the original question still remains: did the dot have cause to level the home? according to the camden county historical society, no, that's home once owned by william

chopper three over avalon friday morning. investigators say three people in one home on seagull drive safely escaped the fire. flames quickly spread to an unoccupied vacation home next-door. one neighbor said she heart broken for the homeowners. >> this one has to be teared down, terrible, they have all of their memories lost. i mean, i'll cry because i'm too sad -- i'm saying prayers for them. >> the fire was declared under control in just about an hour. >> getting around town on septa may soon cost you more. the agency is proposed several rate hikes starting on july 1st. a cash fair would increase by 25 cents. if you use the septa key would you have to pay 20 sent more per ride. septa will hold public hearings on the proposal next month, before the board votes on the rate hike. jc penny is closing 138 stores nationwide impacting about 5,000 workers. for local stores closing including three in pennsylvania, they're at the

the next week or so. here's what to expect this weekend, slow moving system running on through, not big strong storm. really doesn't intensify until it moves off the coast. but will bring slight rain, snow showers around at times really any time through the day today. let's get, snow will be north of philadelphia. here in philly see the chance for at least better chance of snow overnight tonight, as that storm moves off to our to, does intensify, wraps colder air around, little or no accumulation expected. temperatures are pretty much too warm today above freezing, a lot of salt on the ground, road conditions will be okay, just more after nuisance when driving, light snow showers north of the city right now, some drizzle, from philadelphia on southward, into central delaware. and new jersey, then we get break western pennsylvania, but there is the upper level for this storm over the great lakes. that's that still needs to get through. that comes through overnight. so i think that's what contains our best chance to see the colder air with chance for some snow showers in philly, just reminder, hey it

is still winter. >> thirty-nine at the airport, 33 al own town. there are some locations below freezing at this hour. nice breeze coming in off the ocean. ocean water temperature at 40. will keep the air temperatures in the who's today along the coastline, some of the miler air will push inland. still running good 10 degrees below average. storm system moves out of the great lakes, not very strong, still moves off shore, but by the time it energizes pretty far off shore. still wrap around moisture overnight tonight, will be out of here by sunrise tomorrow morning, sunshine returning. we set up to see nice first day of spring, little cool, but at least a shot of reaching 50 degrees next chance every rain will hold off until later on monday night into tuesday morning. so again, snowfall accumulation frost this model, this is through 9:00 tonight. maybe a coating to an inch. lehigh valley some of the non-paved surfaces up to 2 inches in the poconos, but overnight some of the snow showers could get down into chester county, maybe even parts of new castle county, delaware, again, little if anything expected as far as

accumulation. it would be on non-paved surfaces, temperatures running into the 40's later this morning, still 30's to the north, reporting some snow, lehigh valley i think guys see the change over to liquid rain by the afternoon, but then later tonight, colder again, some of the snow showers try to dive back down southward, i think the shore stays all rain, for this event. tomorrow's highs, similar to today, mid 40's, even with some sunshine. so about 10 degrees below average today. showers at times. wet snowflakes to the north. east wind 10 miles per hour. then tonight, rain, ending as snow showers, even around the city. temperature about 44. still above freezing, so that's a good thing, then the forecast, better finish to the weekends, clearing skies tomorrow, 46 the high. near 50 for the first day of spring, 54 tuesday, probably our warmest day out of the next p. stays nice and dry. another shot of colder air wednesday, back to the 40's. by next weekend, warm up maybe pushing to 60. >> do you think we'll be out of this by then? >> never say never. we will get some cool days
