>> a live look at storm scan. good news, sun returns. today is sunday, march 19. i'm jan carabeo. beautiful sunrise out there this morning. let's get right over to meteorologist, justin drabick with the forecast. what are we seeing out there? >> little bit of everything. saw the sunshine, storm scan3 showed little light snow to the south. would you think we would get those to the north in the mountains, but actually nicer the more north you go. the trends everywhere, sunshine, even at the shore. that will feel pretty good if you're outside. this morning, little breeze any some spots, especially if you don't have the sun, little bit of chill in the air. cold rain to our south here, dover, delaware, along the shore. but, not heavy rainfall or heavy snowfall. just more of news and type deal. check it out. live look at center city, filtered sunshine, mid to high level clouds, that continue to

temperatures, more coming up in eyewitness weather. >> looking forward to it, thank you, justin. one person dead after a crash in philadelphia's hunting park section there is crash happened just before 12:45, at old york road, and west luzerne streets. three cars were involved, one woman was taken to temple university hospital in critical condition. it is unclear though if she was the person who was killed, no word yet on what caused this crash. >> a man dead after a shooting in north philadelphia. the shooting happened in the 2400 block of germantown avenue. now the man was shot several times in his stomach and in the back. he was taken to temple hospital and pronounced dead. just after 1:30 this morning, police have not made any arrests. also, no word on a motive. police investigating a shooting left man dead on the 7400 block of stenton avenue east mt. airy. just after 9:00 last night, a man in his late 20's, was found shot several times. police took him to einstein, but he died short time later. no arrest haves been made in this case. and no word on possible

so now i'm not being perky, telling you that drivers that switch to progressive save an average of $548! whoo! i mean, whoo. good morning, everyone, i'm jan carabeo. spring is just one day away, you bye think we're all waiting for it to feel like spring. meteorologist, justin dray brick on the skydeck this morning with eyewitness weather. justin, how is it feeling? >> still little cool. feeling like winter. but, tomorrow, we start to get little milder, temperatures make a return to the 50's, still running below average. even on the first day of the astronomical spring season. but it is turning out to be nice morning here at philadelphia clouds earlier

this morning, still light rain, snow showers, potential southern delaware, extreme southern new jersey, maybe light drizzle, into wildwood, cape may right now, then go south of dover, little light rain. continuing to exit the region. we have the clouds sitting out, partly sunny through the rest of the morning, so increasing sunshine into afternoon. if you're at the coast, it will be windy. eventually seeing sun, still winds gusting over 35 miles per hour, wind coming right off the water, so chilly. temperatures everywhere across the region below average into the 340's, right now, gust to go the mid 30's over most locations, a.c. airport, child wood, checking in at 37 degrees. twenty-five up in mount pocono. north winds, keeping us chilly today. there are the winds gust to go around 25 miles per hour. along the coastal areas of new jersey, and delaware, may increase to about 30, 35 later this morning into the afternoon.

"eyewitness news" reporter anita oh, live along market street in old city this morning. and eat, a that's very busy area so how is it looking there. >> sidewalks themselves pretty passable. but the biggest challenge is the mounds of snow that is piled along the crosswalks, and as you can see behind me, drivers are actually having to maneuver around this mounds every snow in the middle of market street. very difficult to pass by that, this is of course days

pushing and senator cruz has some issues with that bill, doesn't think it will pass until it get fix the. also talk to him about the president's consist tens that he was wiretapped by his predecessor despite the fact that in both the house and senate intelligence committees they say there is no evidence of that. we sat down friday, with nancy pelosi, democratic leader in the house, to talk to her about healthcare reform and the president's budget. speaking every budgets, we will get the administration view from the director of the office of management and budget, at the center of both the healthcare negotiation, president trump calls it a big fat negotiation, and then the budget the president put out this week, we will talk to director, and also check in with our elections director anthony, he has our nation tracker survey, which is our effort to go out into the country and look at what americans are thinking about what's happening here in washington. not just to approve or disapprove what's happening, but how they are taking in information, what's important to them, are they giving the president the room to

week. we have a gradual warming trend, and we head into the official start of the spring season tomorrow. still feeling like winter, low 30's, from our weather watchers this morning. but, everybody's happy, finally seeing some sunshine, so not bad finish to the weekends. mt. laurel, terry higgins coming in 36 degrees. thirty-five up in willow grove, barbara lane, little milder 37, cherry hill, new jersey, at jenny jensen as house, lawrenceville, mid three's, mullica hill, carol at 36 degrees. and one of the cooler spots, richboro, megan at 34. nice sunrise pictures this morning, around philadelphia december end amount of snow cover, sun pretty strong, so we'll get good melting going on, a lot of melting happening in south jersey, not much of anything. this is williamstown, snow-less ground there, seeing the grass, that strong mid-march sun, needs to go to

work. good snow pack though to the north. kutztown, live look, still good six, maybe 12 inches, up into the berks county lehigh valley region, temperatures right now 32 degrees. filtered sunshine, light breeze, up in kutztown, northeast winds end about 3 miles per hour. still some left over light rain showers to the south. extreme cape may county, very light stuff. wet snowflakes mix in, west of dover right now, disturbance continues to push to the south and east. breaking those clouds up. decent amount of sunshine on tap. even at the coast, still dealing with clouds, some showers around, central delaware, south jersey, eventually break out into some sunshine. like i said, mild early in the month. days well above average. but then stretch of nine days below average take the highs and lows together, for the month of march, see what happens over the next couple of weeks. fifty-four where we should be this time of year.

not happening. tomorrow could break into the low 50's, some of the warmer spots. tuesday right near average, seasonable numbers there. then we take another hit, little brief shot of some arctic air builds back in win, then the roller coaster ride continues, start to warm up headed into the upcoming weekends. milder start to spring. still below average. tomorrow morning, it will be cold. that cold air does lift out during the day monday. warmfront, get push every mild air, especially tuesday monday shower or two, once this front passes we get the colder air, in for wednesday. so highs around 50 degrees for monday. then mid 50's tuesday afternoon. tuesday pretty nice day. today little cool, stuck into the 40's, even with the sun, but if you're out in the sun, sun pretty strong. you can feel it, especially driving cars, might have to turn your air-conditioning on if you have the windows up in your car for a long time. long enough. 38 degrees up in the poconos, mid 40's, to highs, berks
