bus nay little while here, oregon avenue or 95 will probably be your best bet. that's not the only accident we have out there, however, another one in delran, new jersey, with downed pole and wires, with this one, as women. so route 130 northbound before new albany road, two right lanes blocked there. starting to slow down just little bit. it is only going to get slower. plus, we also have this construction we were talking about yesterday. mid-county toll plaza, e-zpass express lanes, closed and will be closed until april 10. heads up on that, that's going to slow you down. also more construction on 322 between route one and route 452, jim, over to you. >> thank you meisha. police searching for motive after man is killed in philadelphia's olney section officers called out to fourth and rosland streets just after 2:00 a.m. they found 23 year old man shot in the head at what they believe to be point blank range. he was pronounced dead at the scene. police have not identified the victim. they're still looking for a shooter. >> breaking news: travelers on non-stop flight coming from eight countries won't be

after school. three teens were injured. one of the victims who asked that we not show his face says that he escaped further injury by jumping on a train, his parent told "eyewitness news," they just want justice. >> sent me a text, just told me that he had been jumped. he was on the subway home. then before it got to see him, someone had sent me the video of it. and the world just stopped turning. >> police say they've identified a majority of those involved, and charges are expected soon. >> a jewelry store in northeast philadelphia is burglarized a second time. police believe the thief isn't working alone. this time the bandits made off with $1 million in jewels from kim time jewelry on whitaker avenue. police say the suspect got in last night through the neighboring businesses roof, then headed for the jewelry store safe. officials find it hard to believe that just one person did this all on their own. this is the second time the store has been burglarized in the last three months. >> well, opening statements are scheduled to get underway today in the trial of the

former president of penn state university. jury was selected yesterday for the trial of graham spanier, who is accused every mishandling child sex abuse complaints against convicted child molester jerry san dust i prosecutors say two of spanier's former top lieutenant could take the stands. those two men accepted plea bargains in the case last week. former pennsylvania state treasurer robin cord admitting he abused his offers he's towers more than previously revealed. new revelations came as mccord testified in the trial of an investment advisor, who is accused of trying to bribe mccord with campaign contributions. that includes awarding $50 million investment contract to a generous campaign donor. mccord, you may recall, resigned two years ago, essay waiting sentencing on extortion charges. now, seeing footage of the school teacher accused of kidnapping student one week ago, also seeing the most recent photo that far teenage student. the tennessee bureau of investigation has released this video of pat cummins at store before they say he

kind of like this look. i'm calling it the "name your price tool" phase. whatever. >> new york police officers make another dramatic rescue on frozen ponds in central park. a 15 year old boy was dancing on the ice at the 59th street pond yesterday afternoon when he fell through. an eyewitness people took video and pictures as the boy cried for help. that's when a man says he went and alert dollars two police officers. >> he was up to his chest in water. he wasn't saying anything at the time. we could only see his upper torso, his head, his arms trying to brace himself. >> you may remember just a month ago six other teens fell in the ponds after venturing out on to the ice to take a

picture. the parks department says there are signs warning people about the ponds' thin ice and to stay off. >> the manhunt continues for woman who went on parking lot rampage in california. >> this happened sunday night, in union city, that's near san francisco. watch as this silver car almost backs up, into several people, including small children. investigators say it started when the suspected driver went to return batteries at wal-mart, but was declined when she got into her car, she became dangerous. >> thankfully, mom had the presence every minds to reach down, pick up her daughter, and move away because as soon as she was able to pick her up, the female gunned it again. and back up in that direction. >> had the child been there it, probably would have got hit by the car. >> photo of the suspect was captured by surveillance camera. police believe she is in her late teens. >> well, local farmers are hoping spring is here to stay. >> changes to the wet remember taking their toll. a warm february brought out

the buds prematurely on area crops. with below freezing temperatures still possible, the fear of damaged crops. farm remembers hoping that the winter temperatures are now history. >> and, last week's blast of wintery weather has nearly wiped out south carolina's peaches. officials of the state's agriculture department says two days of temperatures in the 20's, destroyed about 85% of the state's peach crop. south carolina by the way the second in peaches behind california. >> i'm telling you farmers have a tough job. it is like they're at the whims of mother nature. >> exactly, so dependent on mother nature. let's get out to katie. wild week yet again in the weather department? >> specially when it comes to temperature. we don't have too much to talk about in terms every any storm systems moving through for the next couple every days. there is a disturbance passing us by right now. more than anything, the temperature goes on huge swing for the next few days. we ends up seeing temperatures more like january, and more like april, all in the span of the next several. so it really will be quite

drastic. let's take you back in time. take a look at march thus far, for the most part, it certainly has been cooler than average. some days colder than others. we also had couple every banner days if you're a fan of the want here. march 1st ended up the very first day of meteorological spring, ended up 26 degrees above the seasonable average. so quite a father there. yesterday, we just negated it, it was just totally even. we ended up at 54 degrees by the time it was all said and done. that will was the actual normal for the day. meanwhile, outside we go here to very quiet middle township high school. cape may courthouse 43 degrees at this hour with west northwest breeze, you won't notice it all that much. but there are some spot out there that are a little on the damp side because of this batch of showers, it is just weak disturbance, which for the most part has bypassed us to the south. definitely did creep in to bring in the scattered showers. and for the most part our temperatures strictly too warm for anything but plane old rainout of that. now, high pressure is the story, moving forward, from this point. you see just nice quiet

pattern, unfolding, most side of the mississippi here. another disturbance, through south dakota, nebraska, cold front waits in the wings. >> this one will actually your nerve more arctic-like air. what that does of course sends us on the nosedive. so by the time we hit the mid week, high pressure will once again be on our side, it is getting really cold outside. and already that happens tomorrow. now, i'm jumping here to future temperature purposes all the way to 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. by that point temperatures do start to drop below not just freezing, but into the 20's. and this as i just put it into motion is a long stretch of time in the 20's. now the model only goes out to 5:00 a.m. right now. but, i expect that the day, the temperatures stay in the 20's, for few hours beyond that point. the bottom line here is we just talked about this, cross-sensitive at this. that does mean if you have got any spring buds outside, maybe you brought them in, with the last cold snap, you put them out again, i would make sure that you're taking extra care of them. look at the temperatures, again, much more like january. specially on wednesday. rebound at least little bit on

thursday thankfully with sunshine, but some friday, saturday, nice warmfront bringing warming trend. by the time we hit saturday look at this, meisha, actually flirting with 70 degrees. second half of the weekend though probably looking at rain. >> all right, well good to know, okay, but saturday, thumbs-up. big thumbs-up. good morning, everyone. what are we looking at right now? crews are still out here. accident happened schuylkill near broad street. happened around 3:00 a.m. because of that, the schuylkill eastbound is closed between passyunk avenue and packer avenue in south philly. you can see the crews out there right now. we had some flares out there on the roadway too just preventing from getting out of the schuylkill where it is closed, oregon avenue right there. so the onramp from passyunk avenue to the schuylkill eastbound, that is closed. also the eastbound off ramp to walt whitman bridge, that's also closed. all because of the accident that again happened right around broad street at around 3:00 a.m. just a heads up on this, an area that is starting to get a little bit busy. if you pass by, and because of the schuylkill closure, we will of course be monitoring
