since the 4:00 hour, things are very busy thanks to fog, visibility issues, wet roadways. >> definitely the weather having big impact on your commute today. not major system but any time you have rain walking out the door start things offer on a monday like this, never ideal, right? this will slow you down. soaking showers currently working their way through good portion of the lehigh valley, pocono know region, scattered showers pretty much everywhere. looks like it is dry across south jersey and delaware, don't let that fool you. there is a lot of moisture, may be fine mist, at minimum, though, fog continues to be an issue. so we mention that dense fog advisory, specific to southeast most pennsylvania. southern new jersey, and all of the state of delaware. you can understand why. well, not ideal up allentown at 5-mile visibility, it certainly is not as bad as it is along i95. so under a mile there. not as bad in millville. the important thing to also remember, though, is these are observation sites. doesn't necessarily mean that the entire town every millville is at 2-mile visibility, rather this just the observation site reporting

>> today's demonstration being organized by black lives matter pennsylvania, the sayheyt confidence in williams in 2013 after they say his office imprisoned wrongfully accused teen that ignored evidence that would have cleared his name. no a -- now a judge has yet to rule on the request. protesters are expected here outside the da's offers around 8:45 this morning, but for now live in sit hall, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, jan, back to you. >> thank you so much, trang. >> a north philadelphia lope laudromat owner shoots and stops robbery suspect, now that owner could be charged, as well, man walked into launder center on the 2800 block of north fifth street with a knife demanding cash. the owner hands that money over, but as the suspect left, you can see here, the owner chasing him down the street with a gun. he ended up shooting the suspect twice in the chest, and hitting an innocent woman.

>> significance peck took the monday bye $2,000 according to the owner, and basically tossed in the air. so as the owner is still chasing the suspect, and he fired at him, the neighborhood i guess bystanders, people that were out here, basically swarmed in on money. so all of the monday that i was thrown in the air was scooped up by the people in the area. >> the innocent woman shot twice in the hands, robbery suspect is in extremely critical condition. republicans wouldn't get enough votes to pass it. a spokesman for mr. ryan says the two spoke over the weekend, and both are eager to get back to work. hena daniels, for cbs-3, "eyewitness news." there has been deadly rocket attack in a crowded market in mose you will, iraq, unclear how many were killed or hurt. now, three missiles hit the busy eunice market in east mozul sunday afternoon, the shell's also sparked a major fire there. the iraqi government liberated east mose you will from isis earlier this year, but the battle for control over the western part is still raging. >> a developing story right now. eight japanese high school student are feared dead after they were caught in a avalanch at a ski resort north of tokyo. the aids among more than 60 student and instructors from seven schools who were on the slopes at the time. japan's disaster agency says dozens of people were injured in that avalanch. well, coming up a little later, the new jersey teen who saved nearly 100 lives.

>> entire dallas area under tornado watch last night, until 11:00 p.m. homeowners found hail scattered in their lawns after the storm had passed, but, it was a damage that left behind that was the real problem. >> you can could hear it. coming from a distance, it was like a stampede. and then all the sudden, loud thud from the skyline. then it sounded like glass breaking, obviously. now the system is expected to continue for the next new days with possible thunderstorms, and flash flooding. meanwhile, over in ohio, funnel cloud took shape outside of columbus. these dark clouds you see here were spotted forming in the sky, tornado warning went into effect yesterday afternoon, and the strong winds, and lightning, took place, local forecasters warned residents to be ready to take cover, if tornados break out. you know, i lived for a few years in columbus. the first weekends i was there they test the tornado sirens once a week. well, no one told me. i didn't know what was going on. i'm like driving down the street, ya, what's going on here? >> wild weather out west, yes.

>> same system impacting us? >> it is, but front moving through with the skies not necessarily going to produce the ingredients necessary to create severe weather but will have a big impact. a shot taken from the central parkway library, over looking logan circle, jfk or the ben franklin parkway here in the distance, but you know, we've got the damp roads. certainly the fog. you can barely make out the center city skyline because of the low clouds, so poor visibility, pretty much the main issue, but also, of course, the need for your windshield wipers because of the showers moving through. they're heaviest off to the northwest of the city, but doesn't look like anything falling, doesn't mean you won't have misting going on there, a lot of moisture to work, with so be ready for it anywhere. meanwhile i think she is thursday likely to draw to close into the afternoon. so mainly an amish ooh, but into the afternoon may be leftovers as we hit lunchtime. 66 degrees the expected hi, that is warmfront, so it lives up to its name here in that regard, later tonight clouds are plentifull. drop down to 50 degrees, mild

until 10:00 for all of the counties shade in the in the grayer area. no longer include you had but kent and new castle county are, around the city every philadelphia, with the video behind me with the skycam, just generally very, very foggy, keep that in mine, it will be a problem, especially travel the area bridges and whatnot. now, here's our current temperature reading. up in the poconos, a lot chillier granted but low or mid 40's, most everywhere else. so unless you're above 1500 feet in the poconos, not going to have to deal with any kind of icing. do watch for it up that way. for the most part, just rain showers, mild air, and fog to contends with. and with time, the showers do draw to close into the mid afternoon at the absolute latest. and we will continue to rebounds. so does feel a lot less chilly than it currently does. meisha? >> all right, katie, thank you for. that will good morning, everyone, happy monday. well the roadways are loo but i will say visibility is playing a factor today, wet roadways with katie talking about the rain coming down in some areas, where we had

disable vehicle, schuylkill east past montgomery drive. pulled off to the shoulder. now it has since long moved out of the way. but you can see how busy it is getting out there. basically anywhere that we to get very busy. a lot of people leaving their homes little earlier. not a bad idea on busy mondayment take a look at this shot. fifty-nine south at cottman, an area that is very foggy, this fog is very dense here, you can barely see the vehicles taillights moving in the southbound direction. so just heads up if you are headed out on 95, just know that of course it will be very busy because of that, as well. accident pleasantville, a.c. expressway before route nine, left lane blocked, another accident in lansdale as well, chestnut street at main street or route 63. so, couple of problems areas, heads up if you are in that neck of the woods, also construction to talk about, this is guide rail installation, 295 southbound, or excuse me, construction trenton ends on friday, 295 southbound the ram top route one, closed until around 7:00 a.m., again, that's on friday, jim, over to you.

american inch vocation, will pursue overhauling government functions, using ideas from the business sector. formal announcement set for later today. >> well, police are searching for the gunman who barged into a crowded cincinnati night club and opened fire. investigators say, one man was killed, and at least 15 people were injured early yesterday morning. police say the violence was not linked to terrorism, and they say the night club last been the scene of violence in the recent past. >> several local men not into some type every dispute inside the bar and it escalated into shots being fired. from several individuals. >> now, police say, patrons are searched when they end their club. but search sunday morning failed to find any weapons. at least five of the victims are still in the hospital. meanwhile, the suspect in a deadly stand-off on the las vegas strip is scheduled for a hearing this morning. prosecutors are bringing murder charges against rolando, they say he opened fire on bus on saturday,

killed one person, and wounded another. he surrendered to police after a four hour stand-off. police in pennsville township are reminding drivers of the importance of wearing a seatbelt after it saved a drivers life. this crash happened march 18th d in pen ville. police say the driver crossed into the opposite lane of traffic, struck a utility pole, then rolled over several times. the driver walked away with just minor injuries. >> you know, i put that out there. i want people to understand seatbelts do save lives. and it is really important that we take two seconds to strap up before we drive away. >> chief cummings reminds us it takes no time at all to put on a seatbelt as the car warms up. >> new jersey teenager's memory lives on in the lives he has helped to save. >> last may lukeily home. they made the orgs, if it wasn't for thatlater after

the stairs? >> yes, you know, working, going upstairs is a lot of work. works a lot of muscles. people get short of breath. but you know if you can go up one flight or two flight without a problem. what happens if all the sudden you start getting, you know, you got to stop in the middle of it or you start getting pain or unexplained like pain or out of breath? you need to be checked out. that's your body saying something is not right. normally i can go up and down these stairs okay, little short every breath. now it is harder. what's going on, get it checked out. >> dizzy when standing up? >> as we get older it is called orthostatic hypertension, we stand up, blood pools in our veins, five to 10% every older americans experience that. say you're young like you guys, ought sudden standing and starting to get dzhokhar a lot or woozy, well, is your blood count low? is your heart rate p.m. too long fast. do you have a thyroid problem or diabetes? your body saying wait, every time i get up i'm just really woozy, let me get this checked out. >> something else that's interesting. your handwriting might

noticeably change. >> we see this a lot. a lot of people don't realize it, handwriting involves strength and fine dexterity and in holding. now we see people's handwriting change with certain neurologic disorders or thyroid. so say they write and all the sudden writing becomes smaller, or shake year, or not as fine. that could be a symbol that something is going on, subtle sign but something that we look at. we will complain people's handwriting now to when it was like five years ago, and significant, so get it checked out. >> very itchy skin? >> a lot of times we might have dry skin the most common reason for itchy skin. happens a lot in the winter. but often it is in a area like e skin imps, everything is itching, maybe it is your kidneys, maybe you havees or tht checked out. >> what about breath smell? >> it could be maybe a sinus invention, maybemethin wte but t could be an abscess in your tooth or infection going on in your mouth or diabetes that's

undiagnosed sometimes after tone type of smell that whenever you exhale people can smell t so change in your breath, see your dentist or your physician. family doctor. >> now jim you may disagree with me here but not every symptom should send you racing to the doctor, right? >> exactly. >> jim, stay here. don't want you going to the doctor today. you're right. these are just subtle signs your daily living, something that's bothering you, that's different for you. it might be subtle. take your time. write it down. next time you go to the doctor, doctor, i notice add change, could this be anything? so only the signs thate, common suddenly, shortness of breath, chest pains, those you go right away. other subtle signs, make note, if it continues more than two, three weeks, talk to your doctor. >> i'm getting better. i had the shin splits, and i thought i would have to have my leg chopped off. >> and i see you have both today. and they work. >> pain went away few days later, see, i'm coping. >> time sometimes is the best
