later. looking at the roadways, things are actually looking pretty good. i would say foggy out there, a lot like yesterday. >> not as bad as most locations, dense fog advisories specific to the shore points, really ocean, monmouth county, poor visibilities, not enough to meet the threshold anyway of a dense fog advisory, but notice couple of thunderstorms already rumbling through here. specially across central new jersey here. some rain is all scattered in nature. it is actually pounding down, moisture laid never this atmosphere. here is a look at the visibility. i mean, you got a grab bag going on here guys, as much as perfect visibility, millville, a.c. airport, two, under 2 miles at philadelphia international airport. so, again, it is not as bad as yesterday. but it is still out there. it is still a bit of a concern. specially if you travel through the river beds, valley areas, so just watch for that. but generally speaking today's still an unsettled day. currently at 51 degrees, awfully mild beginning to the morning. the winds even despite thethundg through, still pretty calm.

42, this is out there until 6:00 a.m. a lot more to talk about coming up in the next ten minutes, rahel, jim, back to you. >> see you then. let's get back to the breaking news, father gunned down after confronting a man suspected every robbing his son. >> trang do live in west philadelphia this morning, good morning, trang. >> good morning, jim, rahel. though this father is in critical condition, police say eggs expected to survive. officers are actually patrolling around this area when they heard the gunshots and they returned here to investigate on this corner here. but take a look at video of the scene overnight. >> this shooting happened on the 6100 block of market street around 2:00 a.m. police say 15 year old boy went home and told his father someone robbed him of $40 near 62nd and market just after midnight. the 37 year old father then reportedly went to the intersection to confront the robber. that is when police say the man pulled out gun and shot him twice in the face. officers then rushed the man to presbyterian hospital. the shooter then ran off. >> the robbery victim notified

his family member, this 37 year old male, about the robbery, this 37 year old male went to the location to confront the individuals that robbed family member. and that's when the perpetrator pulled a gun. >> and police cameras captured the shooter running on 62nd street. investigators say they were many witnesses, and describe the man as wearing blue or dark colored clothing, about five-nine, 140-150 pounds. course anyone with information is urged to contact police. for now live in west philadelphia, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, trang. >> police in new jersey have yet to identify half of the victims in a hacking case against former doctor. >> investigators say 29 year old peter grossman stole the identities of 25 women who were former classmates, at delran high school in burlington county. the former jefferson hospital doctor is accused of hacking

into the women's emails, cell phone and social media accounts, in saving total of 2,000 personal photos. very few of the photos he allegedly saved were explicit leaving people to wonder about his motives. >> i mean, just weird. like i don't understand why he would do it. like it doesn't make any sense to me if you're going to hack something, i would think you would be hack ago bank account or something, not facebook for pictures? >> investigators say grossman learned his victim's account passwords by looking through their social media photos. so far they've identified 12 of the 25 victims. >> philadelphia police are close to identifying a pair of kids accused of vandalize ago synogogue in mayfair. investigators say the latest incident happened between friday night and monday morning. police do think it is linked to two other cases since december rocks thrown at the temple on the 4300 block of tyson avenue. seen on surveillance video. li crime. >> kids,

what's interesting, this looks very similar to what we saw yesterday. so interesting that we don't have dense fog advisory, at the moment, but you've got variable visibilities across the region as a whole here. let's throw the current conditions over top. 51 degrees, currently feels like 51. isn't that nice change every pace? out of the northeast winds coming in at very light clip. only 7 miles per hour, but we are still tracking a lot of unsettled weather. through the rest of the day t comes in the form of scattered pockets of showers and thunderstorms. already, some thunderstorms have rumbled through the area. it is from this disturbance trying to make its way across the east coast. and as a result, you know, you will see couple of time stems, throughout the entire day, 9:00 a.m. for example, then click the button, go up to 2:00 p.m. another round of heavy showers or thunderstorms rumbling on through here. then again by 6:00 p.m. it is like this really isn't going to draw to a close. i wouldn't call this day a wash out, it is just unsettled all day long with the possibility of shower or under this earl storm really at any time. so, looking forward in the eyewitness weather seven day forecast, just one moreunseled o
