judge warned if this matter did not get cleared up quickly then williams and his attorney , presently are on treacherous ground. >> good morning. >> do you have any comment, do you want to say anything to the philadelphia taxpayers. >> good morning, i'm here to see the judge. >> district attorney seth williams and his lawyer headed upstairs for 3:00 o'clock here michael diamondstein wants off case arguing that williams can't afford him. this is audio obtained by cbs-3 from the hearing. >> you signed on to do the case. i don't have any basis as i see it right new to recommend a judge diamond you should aloud to withdraw. >> i'm telling the court there is no fund for his attorney, no fund for investigation. if the court does not think that is enough so be it. >> reporter: joined in the courtroom was tense, as judge timothy rice, asked seth williams if he could afford his own lawyer or if he wanted the court to appoint one. williams said he should have a new attorney by friday. >> you can wave your right to counsel, and you can have your bail revoked. so i would be very careful

michael diamondstein his attorney who wants off the case that he no longer need his services, of course, stay with channel three for very ratees on this developing story. reporting live, joe holden for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> joe, thank you. we are following a developing story in north philadelphia, where police are on the scene of a barricade situation, this is on north 17th street near west susquehanna avenue. police responded after a 17 year-old was shot and is in critical condition. nearby duckry school has been placed on lock down because of the incident. search continues for shooter who opened fire in philadelphia's northern liberties neighborhood, yesterday. authorities continue to investigate in the area around the 500 brook of north front street. construction workers heard the gun fire and the bullets struck a pickup truck month. man near that truck may have been the target, of the gunfire. the investigators are saying away from saying this was a snipper situation until they can prove it. >> i can confirm that there are marks on the window sill of the window, that was facing

the scene. >> shooting yesterday and the search that follows, led to the shut down of the northbound lanes of the interstate i-95 for several hours. tonight we are hearing from brave, first responders, they rescued several people from a burning home in wildwood, crest. little is left of the five unit beach home on the 5500 block of park drive. the entire second floor apartment was engulfed in flames and police got that at 6:00 o'clock monday night. they helped rescue two children and uncle from the balcony. a resident showed greg air guess how he and the mayor caught one of the children. >> only way out was dropping. >> i just, said drop her right now. and she dropped, and ernie caught her, like this, you know, i jumped in to ernie and officer webb was right underneath us. >> human safety net. >> there was no way anything would happen to that little girl. >> officers also rescued an elderly woman, meanwhile fire fighters rescued two parents and their child from the first floor, in one was seriously

regulations. >> reporter: by rolling back environmental restrictions support by his predecessor trump says energy sector will create new jobs but critics say comes at expense of our health and our planet. >> i think big problem is just , we will make climate change worse. it will not get better, it will get worse and it will continue happening and sticking our head in the stand will not fix it. >> reporter: clean water action groups say president's executive order will increase pollution and accelerate global warming they are worried about severe budget cuts he proposed to environmental protection agency. >> cutting epa's budget by 31 percent is just nuts. >> reporter: what will it mean locally. crushed battery casing have been partially removed from the west deptford neighborhood as part of the federal super fund site, a dozen properties still need to be cleaned up at a cost of 10 million-dollar. but, slashes to the epa could meaningless work cleaning up new jersey's 114 superfund sites. >> we depend on the epa. we look for their support, because we don't have the financial wherewithal.

happy. you were talking about it earlier. it does not look like that outside. >> it doesn't, it looks like more breaks of sun, temperatures warmer, but that never happened today. rain was story to day and still story tonight. lets look outside, storm scan three, large system moving through, it did break up a little bit south ande, and southwest of our area we had sun coming out around d.c. that is where temperatures got to the lower 70's, and it looks like that would happen for us but rain and cloud just stuck overhead and it has been a cool, damp, dreary day, but good news is we are missing thunderstorm development that those areas to the south of seen here this morning. you can see a break in the cloud cover as storm begins to slowly exit but especially from the city north still seeing that light rain, allentown, reading, montgomery , bucks counties here. we have a few showers and storms this one right here pushing toward cape may county cape may point, west cape may places like thaw could see a stray shower or rumble of thunder moving through in the next half an hour or so. right now across the region

you can see it is chilly. fifty-two in philadelphia. fifty down the shore along the coast, further inland it is milder. poconos at 45 degrees, again, stuck in the cloud and rain all day long, and that has stabilized atmosphere. don't think we will see much more in the way of thunderstorm development except that stray within to the south. overnight low is about 12 degrees above average but daytime high just went no where thanks to the cloud and rain we came in 3 degrees below on the day and looks like we will finish out month pretty even, pretty seasonal over next few days as temperatures begin to stabilize. through tonight we have that light to moderate rainfall to the north and west, slow go out there, there is ponding on the road from the earlier rain that came through and all starting to lift out, that is good news, overnight we will clear it out. couple spots of patchy fog, so watch out on the road tonight. 4:00 a.m. could see cloud continuing to break and then start day with sunshine, depending where you are, gradual clearing through afternoon and ending up with full sun by midday.

but that is in the last of it, still unsettled pattern. next rain chance come in friday. next storm pushes through amount lot of rain witt and licensing duration storm a slow mover here on friday, and period of the rain all day long, starting about 9:00 a.m. and continuing possibly into saturday morning, and we are track ago this saturday afternoon but this could produce rumbles of thunder as well. not out of the wood just yet but tomorrow into thursday, that is when we will get pleasant spring weather. overnight gradual clearing tomorrow becoming sunny, breezy, pleasant at 62 degrees and as we head into your seven day forecast we will get temperatures pretty seasonal, we are at 62 degrees tomorrow, 57 on thursday and then friday is a rainy day, i'm optimistic about saturday. i think we can start off with the morning shower and hopeful that the sun comes out in the a noon and keep you posted to see how quickly this gets out. sunday and machine looking g so, mother nature has an april fools trick up her sleeve.
