live from the cbs broadcast center in philadelphia. this is cbs3 "eyewitness news" at 11:00. police say a 13-year-old was attacked in broad daylight and sexual assaulted by three teenage boys, good evening, i'm natasha brown, thank you for joining us, this brazen attack now involves the special victims unit. "eyewitness news" reporter joe holden is live with the latest on the ongoing investigation. joe? >> reporter: natasha, this attack unfolding earlier this afternoon in broad daylight. but behind closed doors of an abandoned property in the hunting park section of philadelphia. police say they have made no arrests but it is unclear if they are talking to perhaps the person of interest or potential suspects. an suv detective leaves the row home in the 1300 block of west butler with single bag of evidence.

inside, police say a 13-year-old girl was sexual assaulted by a group of three teenage boys was pulled inside the home after walking down the street. investigators say the attack happened shortly before 5:00. >> surprised nobody have anybody get killed in here. >> reporter: charles tells cbs3 neighbors in hunting park have long complained about the boarded up row home. it's a known hang-out for teens >> you got a group of young kids -- i don't know where most of them probably don't live around here, they're constantly in that building instead of being in school. this is the during the day situatio situation. >> reporter: police tell us the curious was taken to saint christopher's hospital for children where she was listed in stable condition. once again, no word on any possible arrests on your leads in this very disturbing case.

reporting live outside special victi victims. joel holden. hours after a tanker truck overturned on the atlantic city subway all lanes are closed at the farley service plaza. at least seven gallons of fuel spilled. they say the tanker was traveling eastbound when the accident happened. traffic is being diverted to exit 28 and there were no reports of injuries. pretrial hearings against bill cosby are expected to proceed tomorrow. prosecutors want the jury to see a sealed document showing cosby admitting to giving andrea constand and other women quaaludes, they would like to show excerpts from his book where he talks about a drug called spanish fly, cosby's lawyers want no mention of

quaaludes or spanish fly during the trial a new jersey community is mourning the loss of a teenage boy killed while on an atv joy ride with his friends. leash alicia >> reporter: a popular thing to do is to go atv riding, a joy ride for three teens turned tragic >> the atv was right here turned on its side >> behind joseph springer's property, the three teens riding on two atvs crashed. authorities say the teens lost control of the all terrain vehicles then collided and were knocked off when the atv slipped. none of the teens were wearing helmets, two teens were injured but 14-year-old nicholas cunningham died at the site of the crash >> that close, you got to feel

suspect police say killed a man and dog in north philadelphia. police arrived to find a dog had died and victim who was shot multiple times was rushed to the hospital where he later died. authorities trying to figure out what sparked a three alarm blaze at an abandoned warehouse in reading, berks county. crews were called out to the 200 block of south 11th street about 9:30 this morning, the fire burned several hours before crews were able to eventually place it under control. residents nearby were evacuated and no reports of any injuries. an ambush on road. a driver shot to death on the roosevelt boulevard while waiting at a red light. news at summer dale and the boulevard where police say a 39-year-old man was gunned down inside his car shortly before 6:00 this morning, police say a white cadillac pulled up alongside the victim's car, fired multiple shots and drove

or a $100 gross income tax who donate blood platelets or plaza, new jersey wouldn't be the first state to offer these incentives, 19 other states already provide credits or deductions for living organ donations. after years of construction apple employees are scheduled to move into tour iconic new campus nick named the space ship. however this there's still work to be done. it is a drone footage here of construction workers on the rooftop of the new facility, a perfect circle a mile around apple broke ground on the new headquarters in 2013 when it's completed it will house more than 12,000 employees. residents are excited to see it completed. others are worried about the traffic. >> concept it's a circle. but it's so powerful to see that to see it in that way >> i truly believe it's going to make a positive impact.

in regards to the traffic, i mean, that's inevitable. >> it is expected to take approximately six months for all 12,000 employees to make the transition into the new building. speaking of buildings around the world turned blue to observe world autism awareness day. designed to give people with autism a voice and support research efforts why the blue? autism disorders are almost five times more common among boys, one in 54 than among girls where the stat is 1 in 252. the blue rents the boys diagnosed mostly with autism. check out the amazing spectacle in east china. the cherry blossoms there are illuminated at night creating a beautiful attraction. the lighting of the trees is part of the international cherry festival started back in 2014. it continues through the end of april. here in our area little bit a down south, the cherry

blossoms are blooming in beautiful and washington, dc. national cherry blossoms festival is happening right now on the national mall. as part of the celebration, a traditional lighting of the japanese stone lantern marked friendship and peace between the u.s. and japan. it was a lovely day to gaze at the cherry blossoms >> our cherry blossoms are blooming in philadelphia. as well as sunshine, a lot smiling faces. everyone is happy. no one was in a bad mood. then as we head to monday and tuesday it's going to go south, downhill fast once again. but it was beautiful today and a quiet evening as we get a live look at center city philadelphia. temperature at 50. west wind around eight miles per hour, we top at 63 today in philly. our most mild day and over a week's time and actually above average normal high temperature for today is 59 degrees. temperature change over last 24 hours, we do have a more mild

evening in progress most of our reporting sites with the number positive digits not quite as chilly, 45 degrees patchy clouds quiet conditions with light winds out of the southwest and for tomorrow, dry during the daytime, sunshine to kick off the day increasing clouds into the second and 66 degrees, attacking on a few more degrees, if you have a long day, pack along the umbrella, we're watching two potent storm systems, even a few strong thunderstorms, i think the best will be tuesday afternoon and then again on thursday. stormscan 3 showing us quiet conditions. high level clouds moving in oh to our western counties. storm system is up wind. this is the storm system that brought those tornados to portions of the south, however, we're not going to go see the same upper level dynamics. it could bring imbedded thunderstorms but future weather showing us all is quiet.

we'll see increasing clouds and still quiet into monday and we'll start to see this area of precipitation building in in the city maining after about 10:00 then overspreading the area, pockets of heavier rainfall embodied thunderstorm late monday and tuesday morning, for tuesday morning, we'll see scattered showers around, probably a lull around midday and the wet weather activity maybe breaks of sunshine, watch out for the more sunshine we see in that couple of hours will further destabilize our atmosphere and we'll see scattered thunderstorms developing as we head to tuesday afternoon, and a few of those could be on the stronger see before we head to tuesday evening. lose the daytime heating and kind of lose the storm threat as we push into evening on tuesday, future rainfall showing us. amounts will be variable. some could pick up a half to inch of rainfall, this is midday tuesday, not even taking into account storms tuesday afternoon, really going to be focused where we see the heavier showers develop and the
