the report of a sexual assault in an abandon house in june yacht a the investigators say a 13 year-old girl voluntarily went into a house sunday in the 1300 block of butler street with several boys. after she left that house police say the teenager borrowed a man's phone and then called 911. two legal heavy hitters in fill after filed a lawsuit seeking to have district attorney seth williams removed from office. former d.a. lynn abraham and attorney richard sprague filed that lawsuit today in common pleas court. on friday williams voluntarily suspended his law license but said he plans to stay in office. last month he was indicted on charges of bribery and extortion. what he heard over past few hours and make a decision in the next few days but he will to have decide if cosby's testimony during a deposition in 2005, and 2006 in which he admits to using quaaludes and giving them to woman before having sex with them in the 1907's can be used at trial against him in june of 2017. in 63 days, comedian bill cosby is expected to walk into a montgomery county courthouse and face the accuser andrea constand. but monday the 79 year-old walked into court for more pretrial motions filed by both the state and his defense. for much of the morning judge listened to the motion by defense asking judge to allow additional questions to be submitted to perspective jurors. the judge ruled additional questions will not be mailed to perspective jurors, but can be asked, in person. in the afternoon district attorney kevin steel asked the judge to allow portions of cosby's 2005 and 2006 deposition to be used against him, during that deposition,

part of the civil kate brought by constand, cosby admits to using quaalude with females before sexual encounter in the 1907's. state said this shows a pattern of prior bad acts. defense says use of quaalude in the 1907's was consensual and should not aloud. the state also wants portions of cosby's book titled childhood, used against him. in that book, and in the 1991, cnn interview with larry king, cosby talked about using spanish fly, an aphrodisiac cosby writes he used as a young man to get woman to like him. it proves comedian is familiar with date rape drugs. the defense says comments are purely out of context and are part of the comedy routine. now more than 1,000 perspective jurors will be vet ted for trial, this is happening, in allegheny county , once those 12 member and women are selected they will be bused here to montgomery county. they will be sequestered for the duration of the trial, which is once again, expect to

begin, on june the fifth. a judge said it could last approximately two weeks. we're live at montgomery county courthouse i'm greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> greg, thanks very much. the trial is underway for the three teenage girls accused in the fatal beating of 16 year-old amy joyner- frances. joyner-frances was attacked in the bathroom at howard high school of technology last april, and died from her injuries. her classmates are charged with criminal conspiracy for their alleged role, and a 17 year-old classmate faced a charge of criminally negligent homicide. "eyewitness news" reporter alycia nieves was there as the trial began and she will have a live update for you coming up on "eyewitness news" at 6:00. at lee five people were injured when a new jersey transit train derailed, during this morning's rush. the train jumped the track prior to reaching the platform at penn station. passengers described a jolt and one said it felt like a earthquake. >> it was literally like an amusement ride, it was bodies

increasing cloud cover, but as we pan out, it looks a little bit more ominous there with all of that moisture and lined of well developed third even storms moving through mid-atlantic region and all that is heading in to our backyard. as we head throughout the evening hours, for 8:00 o'clock hour cloud around breezy at times but that rain likely arriving in the city. sometime around 10:00 o'clock but when we head in the overnight period widespread and wind driven rain with embedded thunderstorms as well we will let you know how long that rain will last and fit will impact our tuesday morning commute in the full forecast, coming up in just a few, ukee. thanks, lauren. police need public's help identifying a suspect in the armed robbery in juniata park. authorities say that the mask ed man in this surveillance video entered this sandwich shop on the 4,000 block of whittaker avenue last week. they say man pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash, the man was last seen, wearing a dark gray hooded sweat shirt and dark athletic pants. anyone with any information is ask to contact the police. police need help

identifying a man they say snatched an 80 year-old woman 's purse. they said last wednesday the man approached the woman on the bike, snatched her purse and then took off. he was last seen on hunting park avenue heading toward sixth avenue, and call police if you have any information. a scary, ending during an incident for drivers on the pennsylvania turnpike. state police are now looking for whom ever threw rocks at cars on a popular commuter route yesterday. chopper three is over breaking news, police are on the scene of the deadly shooting. investigators tell us two men are dead and two others are injured, the shooting happened after 3:30 in the 1100 block of west styles street. at the moment there is no word on what sparked this shooting. two manhole covers exploded into the air, as a result of the fire in downtown boston. it was caught on camera. fire fighters were responding to a fire near boston city hall yesterday, when an explosion, shot off two manhole covers, one of them, flew 50 feet in the air. one of the covers landed a few feet away from a first responder.

luckily no injuries were reported and underground cable failure was to blame. another explosion, this one in st. louis, miss sure that i killed three people and injured four earlier today. a boiler the size of the van exploded, and blasting through the roof and a box company in an industrial area. the boiler crashed into a medical laundry building, a large fragment also hit a third location. >> this was a very hectic scene with three different buildings at the same time, called for a lot of equipment and manpower to get this under control quickly. we have got three buildings that have been involved in a fairly large explosion. we have to shut down gas, electric, we have some shut down water and still maintain enough manpower to make sure we have everybody out and everybody accounted for. >> investigators are trying to pinpoint the cause of the explosion. it isn't clear if anyone was working on the boiler at the time of that blast. a simply storm system, continues town leash destruction, through the southern united states. in mississippi a woman died

today after her car was swept away by flood waters. a mother and her three-year old daughter were killed yesterday in louisiana after a tornado flipped their mobile homes. severe weather is also causing flooding, power outages in parts of the alabama, florida, georgia, and south carolina. >> um, um, um. meteorologist lauren casey is in for kate bilo. you are inside now. >> i am feeling spring-like out there feels very spring- like. beautiful start the two day. cloud rolled in. now it is not so beautiful. >> it is okay. >> it will be even less beautiful in a couple more hours. it is going downhill quickly. we have cloud in place after that sunshine we had started the day off w getting a live look at our neighborhood network in kutztown.g a live we have nice wave cloud. that is what we call them. it is what happens when we have disturbance building in. we will get a wave-like motion kind of like dropping a rock in the pond you see ripples expanding out. temperature right now 60 degrees. we are not worried about chilly air.

sixty-four right new looking live at center city philadelphia we have wave cloud in the view there. south wind at nine. continuing to pull in warmth and moisture. temperatures in the area in the 60's at many reporting sites. as we pan out, temperatures are very mild, so this will be a mild rain for us but a heavier one at. that storm scan three showing us clear conditions. cloud move n that rain is pushing in the d.c. area expecting leading edge of the precipitation to start to arrive pushing toward center city philadelphia in probably next five hours. very large dynamic storm system. this is the same storm system that cause set veer weather down to the south. we will see strong thunderstorms moving in parts of the north carolina and virginia. we won't have the same exact upper level dynamic set up as what they saw down south but we still could see stronger storms throughout the overnight period. so for this evening, breezy with rain developing late, temperatures not too bad 61 degrees. overnight tonight dealing with wind driven rain, embedded thunderstorms, heavy rain, low

of 52 degrees. for tomorrow an interesting day. we will pass scattered showers around in the morning and we will see some sunshine break ing out but that could further destabilize our atmosphere and we will see hit or miss thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. some could be on the stronger side. keep an eye to the sky even if you see that sunshine breaking out tomorrow. otherwise a windy, warm day with high temperatures in the 70's but storm threats tonight and tomorrow, high threat will be for heavier rainfall but we will see gusty wind, frequent lightening as well, low hail, threat and also a low tornado threat but potential for flooding. flood watch in effect for poconos, parts of the northern new jersey as well, mercer county included in that it trenton area future weather showing is in the evening hours that area of precipitation over spreading the area from southwest to north east and check out those pockets of heavier rainfall widespread in nature continuing to clear area embedded thunderstorms across the delaware valley wherever one gets touched by this rainfall as we head into tomorrow morning. is there scattered showers, wall to wall by midday.

rise to their ranks in the cities fire department. >> i feel very lucky to be where i am today. >> reporter: linda long is first woman to be fire battalion chief, she began as a paramedic, rising to captain , and then at 39, she quit, starting over in the philadelphia fire fighter academy. >> became a fire fighter. fire fighter lieutenant, fire fighter captain. >> reporter: now grandmother is chief and first ever to be both a paramedic and fire fighter. >> you know, i'm excited, and nervous, and very proud to be able to stand here for all of the other women in the fire department. >> this is a great, look at our future success. we have a lot of work to do. >> reporter: fire commissioner adam tiehl says mostly male department is working to recruit more women but it is not easy. >> it is just in the something i saw women do so i never thought to do it. >> reporter: crystal yates is cities first african-american paramedic services chief. her father, a retired fire fighter joined the department

"eyewitness news" reporter david spunt just arrived on the scene and what can you tell us. >> reporter: jessica and ukee terrible scene at north styles , and i want to back out of the way. we got an update from james clark about 10 minutes ago at philadelphia police, he tells me this happened after 3:30 this afternoon, and four people shot, two are pronounced dead, all four were taken to the hospital, and he said he is not going to get in the specific circumstances but we do know that it happened at 11th and north styles in north philadelphia just after 3:30. we are told those four men were standing outside, on a sidewalk, when a car came up, fired multiple shots, at lee 21 shell casings on the ground
