so often these storms have horrible timing lately. this time it didn't. even though still going to have showers and storms around today, there are a lot more scattered, than they were through the overnight, last night we just had a swat of soaking rain that moved through. so that has now since moved out. it is definitely damp. it is definitely mild. as we check in with the eyewitness weather watcher, certainly seen quite a bit of rainfall from the first rounds, almost inch fell out, nottingham, three quarters of it anyway, that report came in from fran. mark in chatsworth, shy of half inch, .37 from jenny in cherry hill. john is in perkasie at .45. so yes, couple of of a tents of inch came through, not enough to cause major flooding but did lead to problems. next to couple of pictures, ed sent this one in just within the last hour where it is definitely wet on, you know, your windshield, and find some puddles, if you are taking the dog for a walk here this morning, but nothing really out there say for scattered showers, the rest of the day, even couple of pop up thunderstormsment soggy tuesday morning, very gray

north carolina. >> sweet redemption for the north carolina tar heels, beat gonzaga for the crown. but that victory didn't come easy. today is tuesday, april 4th, good morning, i'm jim donovan. >> i'm rahel solomon. let's get you out the door. >> good morning, guys. tuesday, wet roadways, we know it will be busy on a monday, tuesday, wednesday, tuesday in particular, really busy. then you add wet roadways on top of it, and we have major problem on 95 pushing in the southbound direction that's causing a lot of problems right now. >> not good to hear that. like you guys mentioned, the worse of the heavy rain anyway, that's moved out. at least, you know, the timing actually on our side if you want to call it that. here's through the course of the storm system, still going to find some additional showers. couple of pop up thunderstorms, outside we go to more remote suburb, this is in pleasant valley middle high school campus here, taking this shot, and things are pretty quiet. you can tell it is damp. definitely was one of the spots that saw some pretty soaking rain.
