bring us for the chance for severe storms >> we're seeing the cloud start to move in ahead of the system which will start impacting our weather as early as overnight within the next several hour, the first ban of showers moving in. you can see the clouds moving in. this is the complex we're watching and what this is developing almost like what we call an mcs system, cluster of rain and thunder that will survive through the overnight hours, and that's what will likely come through here about 5:00, 6:00 tomorrow morning, further to the south, strong to severe thunderstorms and those could develop and move through the north atlantic. it has started to taper down, we have several tornado watches, looks like one warning over southeastern georgia and a severe thunderstorm warning for portions of western georgia as well. temperature-wise, in the low 50's for the most part, spots in the 40's, it if it stays cool and cloudy enough it will help

is, overnight into tomorrow morning, we're not out on the woods even once that passes through, we got rain and thunderstorms. again, on and off pretty much all day. even severe. let's take a look outside. i want to take you to roof cam, cloudy skies on sky cam 3, the clouds came in late afternoon and stayed and we're watching the showers and thunderstorms head from the west. here's a look at that storm looking pretty potent. the center of the low on storm scam 3, this is the line that produced severe weather across the deep south, there's another squall line through georgia but this complex you see rain and thunder over portions of ohio that mcs, the cluster of rain and thunder will come through overnight into early tomorrow

morning. stretching down towards the city and shore points possibly a little bit of a lull before the next line comes through. this is just going to be ongoing all day, waves of rain and thunder. we got to. what the late afternoon hours we're watching a threat for severe weather off to the south and west and those storms will eventually start to lift through our region especially between about 2:00 and 4:00, heavy rainfall. and any of them can produce damaging winds, also the threat for rotation with the setup in the atmosphere. hopefully the rain and cloud will stabilize things enough that the severe weather weather threat will not be quite as pronounced but we could could see a strong they don't remember. 8:00 dealing with scattered showers, this will continue into friday, in time for the phillies home opener a few scattered showers. for severe weather tomorrow off to the southwest and we're on the borderline marginal risk in the city, light risk for south jersey and delaware. biggest downpours damaging wind

and lightening there's a moderate risk for hail. we're looking about one to two inches of rainfall, a flood watch is in effect. that rain falls on already saturated ground in the wake of our past storms, most models looking about an inch to two inches rain depending where you are and winds could gust to 45 miles an hour all day tomorrow that could lead to problems even from downed tree branches. wind advisory in effect. the phillies home opener forecast cool, cloudy, drizzly, it's not the night of, the weekend looks so much better, 57 saturday, warm up to sunday and monday next week. next week is gorgeous. >> don bell joins us with
