i'm anne-marie green. the pentagon says a u.s. missile strike against a syrian air force base knocked the airfield out of commission. president trump ordered last night's strike in retaliation for this week's chemical weapons attack against syrian civilians. now, 59 cruise missiles were ordered. the u.s. says it's the same base where the chemicals action was launched. six people were killed, several wounded. russians were notified in advance. the president said there's no doubt the assad regime is responsible for the chemical attack. president trump addressed the nation last night. >> previous attempts at changing assad's behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically. as a result, the refugee crisis
