good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters in new york, i'm meg oliver in for anne-marie green. foreign policy takes center stage for the trump administration at secretary of state rex tillerson prepares to make his first official visit to moscow tomorrow. meanwhile they're defending missile strikes in syria. roxana sa berra is in new york with latest. good morning. >> good morning, meg. they're taking a tough new stance for russia and its support for the syrian regime but they're offering different views on syria's president. ahead of the trip to moscow secretary of state rex tillerson called on russia president vat vladimir putin to rethink. >> clearly they have been income pe tempt and perhaps they've simply been outmaneuvered by the

attack on christians. four hours after the first black a suicide bomber targeted the st. mark's church in alexandria 80 miles away. more than a dozen people were killed. angry crowds gathered outside, stepping on bloodied palm fronds left in the wake of the violence chanting no more terrorism. during his palm sunday mass he condemned the attacks. may the lord converts hearts of people who sow terror, violence, and death, he said. the pope is due to visit egypt in less than three weeks. egypt's christian minority makes up about a tenth of the population and has been repeatedly targeted by islamic extremists. last tess an isis suicide bomber

killed at least 30 egyptians at a coptic cathedral in egypt. an asylum seeker from uzbekistan was behind the rampage that killed four in sweden. it happened friday in stockholm where a hijacked beer truck slammed into a department store. police say the 39-year-old suspect was ordered to leash the country last year. he's in custody along with five others. neil gorsuch will be sworn in today as the 11 th just does of the u.s. supreme court. the 49-year-old will take two oaths. once the second oath is completed gorsuch will officially be a member of the court. police in southern wisconsin are intensifying efforts to find a man who mailed a 161-page anti-government manifesto to president trump. joseph jakubowski is considered
