surveillance video from the area, also, interview some more witnesses, they do have a person of interest in custody, but no charges have been filed. take a look at this video from overnight. now, we were outside the accident investigation district, officers led this man into the back after police van for questioning. this accident happened around 10:30, last night, near the intersection of sixth street and erie avenue. man and woman were at the intersection when they were hit by dark green nissan maxima, that just kept going. fortunately, though, a witness spotted the car and followed it, to torresdale avenue. and fraley street wissinoming. then called police. now, investigators found the car had some fresh damage to the windshield, as well as broken side mirror just hanging off the car. also found blood from the victim's on the car, and missing piece of that nissan max at the accident scene. that carve course now in police custody. paramedics did transport both of the victims to temple hospital. at last check we were told the man is in very critical condition, meanwhile, his female companion in stable condition with a broken leg,

police are hoping to talk to her once she feels little bit better. but for now live outside the accident investigation district, in brewerytown, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," rahel, jim, back to you. >> trang, thank you. >> well, new video just into our news room, crime stay surrounding a shooting scene n'sync zest g section. police say a man was shot at 49th street and woodland avenue. he's in stable condition, with gunshot wounds to the stomach and groin. police say the victim had license to carry and returned fire, but it is unknown if he hit anyone. right now there is no word on suspect or motive. meanwhile, gunfire in philadelphia's strawberry mansion neighborhood leaves one man dead, another critically injured. police were called out to the 2500 block of north marston street. both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and were returned to the hospital. one died a short time later. investigators say miami l shots were fired from two separate guns. >> we found numerous spent shell casings, on the street,

we also found a semiautomatic handgun, that was next to one of the victims, that police scooped up. >> police say they also found a motorcycle turned on its side at the scene. and believe that one of the victims may have been riding it when he was shot. so far no word yet on motive. >> happening today, delaware, the three girls accused of beating their 16 year old classmate to death in school bathroom returned to court. the trial in the death of amy joyner francis continues in wilmington today. the fire happened last april, at howard high school of technology, the girls being tried as juveniles, one of the teens is charged with criminally neglect homicide, the other two are charged with conspiracy, prosecutors say helped plan the fight. >> jersey man assault wad cell phone in west depford on friday. police now looking for that suspect. they say he was throwing sticks out the windows of the west forward court amount, hit the suspect before fleeing in a silver car show shown on
