up doing? did we hit a record? no, we didn't. but my gosh it was so beautiful, who cares. eighty-two is what we ended up officially hitting. record was 84. it was setback in 1887 so certainly came very close but that longstanding record continues to stand. looking at storm scan locally not a lot going on, mostly under generally clear skies a few cloud bilo in the northwest suburbs but you can see behind the wording some showers trying to work their way in. mainly in the late morning early afternoon at absolute latest is when any showers will move in and we will see that through the north western suburbs across the city. i'll tell you this much i did not bring an umbrella with me today. if you are comfortable waking out the door dealing with a couple rain drops you will be fine. vast majority of the day is actually dry. even though this is a cold front it does knock or temperature back we are off to a mild start. we will warm up incredibly efficiently here despite a

campus apartment was unlocked so roners just walk right in. keep your doors lock. it is convenient and used by thousands of drivers every day in philadelphia but this morning the parking app meter up is off line. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do is in old city with more on what that means for drivers. it is a popular app, wouldn't you say. >> reporter: definitely. i have it myself. people didn't get a whole lot of note business this let me show you this text message that we received last night, telling us that this app was going to be suspended around midnight. this despite you can see signage, still in the kiosks, you have to use cash or card and use the old fashion way to pay for parking. parking in philadelphia just got a little less convenient, after a year and a half of operating in the city pango's meter up phone app is no longer accepted as payment in parking kiosks. >> i can't believe they will do away witt. i can park my car at 8:00 in the morning in my bed and

prosecutors will argue today that jurors should be taken to the scene to show how in accessible it would be for a three-year old to get to. jury selection could start next week. trial of the self proclaimed survival list eric frein continues in pike county jurors watched frein's three hour video taped confession. frein's accused of shooting death of the pennsylvania state police corporal michael dickson. alex douglass was injured. frein used google maps to plot the ambush abe getaway. he was arrested after a 48 day manhunt in the mountains. federal judge wants philadelphia district attorney seth williams to face trial next month, yesterday prosecutors asked u.s. district judge paul diamond for more time to prepare, while diamond reject their bid citing quote the public's right to a speedy trial. williams trial is scheduled for may 31st, for charges of bribery and extortion. he is accused of accepting more than $100,000 in gifts in exchange for official favors. judge in delaware is expected to rule tomorrow in the trial's three teenagers in the death of a high school classmate.

the three, 17 year-old are charged as juveniles in the death of the 16 year-old amy joyner frances. frances died after a fight last april at howard high school of technology in wilmington. cardiologist testifying for defense says that francis suffered from a rare heart condition that caused her death after the fight. jury selection for bill cosby's sexual assault trial is set to begin may 22nd in pittsburgh. the process could take about a week, the jurors will then be brought to montgomery county for the trial, which is scheduled to begin june 5th. the jury will be sequestered during the trial, cosby's charged with drugging, sexual ly assaulting a temple employee in 2004. a jury find the philadelphia police detective charged with assaulted, not guilty, suspect accused adam o'donnell of kicking him in the knee while walking him out of the special victims unit in february 2015. commissioner ross suspended o'donnell last year for 30 days with the intent to dismiss. we are told by fop he is trying to get his job back. at the community, mourns, more details coming out about the gunman in the deadly
