"eyewitness news" at john dick son high school. officer gave stranger danger tips on how to keep their parents safe. the child was playing outside of her home in the village of plum run when she was abduct. witness found her walking by banning park two hours later. >> this incident has struck a cord with everyone, in our

tried as juvenile in the death of 16 year-old amy joyner francis. she died in april 2016 after a fight in the bathroom that was recorded on camera at howard high school of technology, in wilmington. defense attorneys claim joyner frances had a rare heart condition that caused her death after the fight. the city of wilmington delaware will bid a final farewell to retiring police chief bobby cummings. he has served as police chief since 2014, he is retiring with a 32 years on the job. just yesterday mayor announce that had robert tracie will replace cuppings. tracie has worked with police departments in new york city and chicago. todays final day of testimony in eric frein's trial, just before the easter break, jurors heard entries from frein's journal yesterday which he kept during the seven week manhunt. one point frein says police were about a football field away from him. frein is accused of shooting and killing state police corporal brian dickson and wounding another trooper. president trump is now

appointed to new york's highest court. her body was found yesterday afternoon one day after she was reported missing. the cause of the death is still not clear. well, chicago police arrested a man following death of a, criminal court judge, 37 year-old josh smith intended to rob cook county judge raymond miles, in the process, they alleged smith shot a woman in the leg and then fatally shot miles outside of his home monday morning. police are investigating whether the robbery specifically targeted miles. smith is facing both first degree and attempted murder charges. well, wisconsin man suspected of mailing a violent manifesto to the white house wrote an apology to the gun store owner before stealing firearms. joseph, was videotaped mailing 161 paints manifesto, police say he, dove headfirst through gun shop's broken window to steel guns, ammunition and m16 assault rifle. authorities released photos showing his tattoos, and reward for his capture has rose to $20,000.

caught on tape bullets just missed a little girl in arizona as she took to the store. now they say the shop was not the intended target. >> this is disturbing video. it shows four year-old girl playing in the barber shop outside phoenix, when she sits down, and then bullets, pierced the store window and girl runs to safety. one man heard shots while working next door. >> really shocking, you know, we're luck that i she didn't get hurt worse. >> police arrested suspected shooter michael david heart. he had a money dispute with the tattoo parlor next to the barber shop and was targeting the parlor. he is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault. landslide on to a major u.s. highway in idaho is caught on camera workers with the state's transportation department captured these images right before the slide. keep your eye on the tree there the ground suddenly gives way, sending dirt and trees tumbling down the hill. you can see concrete barrier slide on the highway.

brought a couple showers to parts of the pennsylvania and then moved out to the northe and all it really served to do was kick out breeze and drop our temperatures back. we had a beautiful afternoon. cooler air has settled back in even though high pressure is in place and we will get some sunshine. it is still cooler, but still, very pleasant, and what do i mean when i say still very pleasant? comfortable. 66 degrees. normal high 63 or so on this date. we are a smidge above average. we will still see sunshine and then that nice dry aero curse, northwesterly wind flow will be a nice hair day too. partly cloudy, cooler, dropping down to 47 degrees, looking ahead we will expect another warm up. it comes at a bit of the price on easter weekend. these icons can make it look worse, then it can be, on saturday cloud building through the day but late, toward night fall, showers begin to move in from a warm front and we will spike to 80 behind that front on sunday. 80 degrees. but late in the day, and thank
