>> gremlin in the computer. >> you know what's funny? one of our anchors, sister station "kyw news radio," carol mackenzie, if there is a weird technical problem, she said i think grandpa got on the control board. >> i think he ran down the hall and went to your machine. >> crazy. >> we will get it back together. >> we will pull it together. >> a lot of construction out there, accidents out there, little awkward driving conditions on a friday morning. >> you had that yesterday, too. a lot of accident, act being like they were out there for any reason, at least quiet again. and when you look at the radar, what you will notice out there, there is a little speckle of green. that shows upright on the tail end of the loop. i don't want you to worry about that. a lot of times the radar can pick up on things that aren't actually there. sure enough, we're trying to deceive this morning with that little pocket of what looks like showers, and even some pink showing up. don't worry about precipitation, just some clouds rolling on in, i am going to rely on eyewitness weather watchers, if you actually do see any signs of wet weather, please, let me

know. but right now, i'm expecting just clouds overhead. at least for the early part of the morning, then break for some sunshine. looking at the 24 hour temperature change, well, nothing really changed at all. in fact, at philadelphia international airport, but surrounding the city, under generally clear sky through the overnight, your temperatures have gun to drop off. into green here, as many as 13, though, in places like wildwood. so, it is kind of on par where we were yesterday for most every you, little chillier as some of the area shore point, we started off with clouds yesterday anyway. now meantime, look at the temperatures, yes, chilly. so if you are going to see any ground clutter at radar site, and it is 36 degrees, mount pocono is going to maybe show up pink on the radar. it doesn't mean that there is actually anything falling to the ground. thirty-nine the temperature in atlantic city, chilly start for you, not very windy necessarily, but cooler air has absolutely settled in. and happy friday to you. i think we're looking ahead to another pleasant spring day here, of six with any clouds eventually breaking for more and more sunshine, down the shore, probably more clouds

mid-county, e-zpass lanes reopened. pa turnpike ramps to mid-county construction crews still out there in that area. then the northeast extension southbound, between quakertown and lansdale, that right lane blocked. northeast extension northbound between lansdale and lehigh valley now since been cleared. so you can see a lot of the clues starting to move out of the way which is good. forty-two southbound, right lane still blocked, 55 northbound, between 641 and route 42, the crews are still out there, as well. jim, back over to you. >> thank you, meisha. topping news this morning, fatal shooting outside of bar in north philadelphia overnight. now police are trying to figure fought that incident at the bar was related to the shooting itself. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live in strawberry mansion with the details on this story. good morning, jan. >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning. police have now confirmed that it was a 22 year old man who was shot here in strawberry mansion overnight. shot in the back once, and died at the hospital. and now, as you mention, investigators are trying to figure out if it was a fight at a nearby bar that sparked

this vie len. you can see here hine me this morning that police have just wrapped up their work here on the scene, and if you take a look at the video, you can see what they've been doing here overnight. homicide detective and crime scene units were here for hours processing the evidence left behind. number of spent shell says action were found there along the sidewalk. police say they came from semiautomatic weapon. meantime the search now on for kill they are morning, the shooting happened just before 2:00 here in the 2500 block of north 27th street. police responded to find that 22 year old man shot and in need of help. they took him to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead short time later. investigators are now speaking to witnesses, to sort out what may have sparked the gunfire, police say there was actually some sort of altercation at nearby barlow kate dollars at 27th and sergeant streets. they say the fight started inside and spilled outside, but it is still unclear how the victim was involved. >> at this time we're not sure if this physical altercation is related to the shooting. we don't know if the people

associated press, north korea foreign minister accused president trump of racing tensions in the region. he warmed his nation would not keep its arms crossed in the event after pre-emptive strike by the us. cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> and back here at home, the search is on for a missing young boy in camden county new jersey. take a look. this is 12 year old that jeer butler, disappeared from his home or ormond, described a 5-foot three, 115 pounds, last seen warring black shirt, khaki pant, and sneakers. you are asked to call police. >> delaware judge decide the fate of p teen girls in the trial of that left a classmate dead. convicted 17 year old girl of criminally neglect homicide. seen in the video beating amy beating in the height school. judge ruled that teenager in cause her classmate's death. joyner-francis had a rare undiagnosed heart condition, and defense attorney spoke

after the ruling. >> she has a difficult road ahead of her for sure. and that's why we feel deep sadness for everybody who has been affected by this. >> at the end of the day, you cannot brutalize someone, pummel someone in the bathroom, and lead to their death, and there is no consequence for that action. >> the judge also convicted a second teen on a conspiracy charge. judge found third teen also charged with conspiracy not guilty. sentencing scheduled for next month. the teens may never go to jail because they were charged as juveniles. >> with the nfl draft just two weeks away, philadelphia police are rolling out new way to crackdown on panhandlers. police say they will be enforcing panhandling violations with compassion, focusing on outreach rather than fines or charges. septa police plan to dot same with underground panhandlers, but prepared to use fines and citations as a way to force them into treatment. >> if we can help people, that's what our goal is. you know, we want to try to get folks so they don't have to panhandle.

>> fire broke out 10:45 their time, officials say the fire initially hard to reasonable, because of the large fountains, there were, how much, no injuries reported at the bellagio hotel and casino in las vegas. >> five year old son somehow able to walk right out of school. >> this happened last friday at brookside school in indianapolis. the boy was eventually spotted outside by a staff member, looking out after window. he's now at home safe and sound. his mother still trying to make sense how this happened. >> i don't understand how a five year old was unsupervized, and i left him under the supervision of trained staff. how this could happen, it is a high crime area, so many kids going missing every day. >> school officials say they do have security on site during school hours, but in the enough staffing to have someone at every door. they also say a radio call went out to all teachers and the boy's parents were immediately notified. >> two dozen people stuck on roller coaster ride at maryland amusement park are safe this morning. firefighters used rescue bucket trucks to get the people off the jokers jinx, at

six flags america outside of washington dc. the riders came to stand still while they were 100 feet in the air yesterday. all of them were back on the ground in about four hours. passengers got stuck on the same ride back in august 2014. jinx, i wouldn't go on a ride called jinx. >> or have anything to do with a joker. >> exactly. lightning in california causes huge tree limb to come down crushing several cars below. this was scene in chico city yesterday after bolt of lightning strike 100-foot oak tree. officials used chain saws to cut off the branch. it crushed nine cars in a parking lot below. fortunately, there were no injuries reported. nine cars, that's one heck of a limb. >> quite the damage, yes. time 5:15. katie, it is friday. >> it is indeed. i think looking ahead to nice spring weather overall here yet again. easter weekends is promising to be pretty pleasant overall as well. off to a chilly side. some of you actually already starting offer in the 30's, you can see that over my

shoulder, we take it full screen. we go out to our live neighborhood network, 39 degrees at pleasant valley middle, brodheadsville, show you the radar, you might wonder why it looks totally dry. 39 degrees, virtually no wind, generally very calm winds flow here today. with high pressure cresting over the area throughout the course of the day. with that said, i mention the radar. take a look, looks like speckles evergreen, well, speckles evergreen, but looks like it is raining, doesn't it? take a look at the radar every time. sometimes you get what's called ground clutter, where something shows up, not actually happening. sometimes the flock of birds can even trigger the radar to show up. that's where that is coming from, and in short you don't have to worry about anything falling from the sky here in the form of precipitation, new storm system starting to get its act together. doesn't look like much, at this point, but there is will blossom into larger system with time, and it is going to be crossing through for our easter weekend. that said, even though we do still have, you know, wet

weather in this forecast, i don't think it mess was your outdoor plans, as long as they take place during the daylight hours. back it up, talk about future weather for now. you have cloudy skies, many locations at least to start the day off. but it looks like those will thin with time. by the time hitting lunch or shortly thereafter maybe shortened day of the work, going back home for the weaken here looks like do you have deal with sunshine more than anything, not bad, right? then the clouds rebuild, that's into tomorrow. and that's because of warmfront passage. notice though the showers that come with this wait until later that night and they also look very scattered. so keep your outdoor plans tomorrow. a lot of egg hunts still scheduled. meanwhile today turns out sunny, pleasant afternoon, high of of six, few degrees higher than where we should be, normal high 63. not bad. forty-six tonight. couple every clouds, nothing more, then tomorrow we do have those scattered showers at night. by sunday, it does look like there will be a line of showers and thunderstorms, but again, they wait until at least night fall. so, 83 in the meantime, is the high, meisha, on easter sunday

it, might as well be june. >> exactly what i was just thinking, 83 on sunday. that's awesome. katie, thank you. and i think tgif to all of you tuning in this morning. we were looking at construction here, 202 northbound, route 30, in both directions, i was just talking about the northbound side, left lane blocked, that's now cleared. 202, you are finally looking good. because in the same area, we also had an accident little earlier, that's now since cleared. take a look at 95 south at girard, pushing in the southbound direction, looking good. you can see plenty of of your neighbors out there starting to jump out onto interstate 95. again, moving in the southbound direction. i'll keep moo i eye on this, but avenue feeling, my hinting suspicion tells me, overall, this is going to get little busy. then will taper off toward rush hour. that's typically what we see on friday, see if it ends up being the case today. then for those of you taking the ben franklin bridge pushing in the westbound direction, no problem. looking good there. we do have construction out there. route 130 between keim boulevard and jacksonville road.

left lane blocked. that's blocked looking in each direction. might start to slow you down little bit. but i would say more toward 6:00 hour, rahel, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. now for look at newspaper headlines from across our region. >> in the trentonian, mercer county prosecutors investigating the leak of video footage on facebook of 2015 police interrogation. the entire interrogation from start to finish wasn't posted just few short clips, nonetheless, man interrogated in the video now believes his life is in danger, after numerous media posts have called him a snitch. >> from the reading eagle, reading police yesterday charged city district judge kylie scott withdrawn den driving at tests show her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit for driving when an officer stopped her this month. scott is reading mayor. >> from the bucks county year year times, bucks county community college have approved tuition increase. bucks county resident will pay additional $5 per credit.

the mets this week, they'll take on the nationals fishes pitch 4:05, aaron nola will get the start against strasburg, struck out eight phillies in a seven inning no decision last sunday in south philly. sad news from the nfl, long time steelers owner and chairman dan rooney has passed away. rooney took over operations of the steelers from his father, art, in the 19 60s. saw the team go from perennial losers to six time superbowl champion. dan rooney was 84 years old. >> the sixers season is in the books. they finished with the fourth worse record in the nba. they'll be headed to the draft lottery with nittany of lost. , in all goes well we'll see ben simmons on the court with another high round pick, maybe two. the 6ers have 14.7% chance as the number one overall pick. better than 50% chance, they'll get the la lakers pick, which is theirs, does not fall in the top three. the first time in a month we heard from simmons who says although he was out, he still learned from the experience.
