flames, coming from this home when they first arrived on the scene there just before 7:00 last night. this is at allentown road and wood land drive, police say house was occupied at the time , so far we know one person was hospitalized and is now in serious condition. police are investigating an accident in philadelphia's fishtown section, officers responded to this scene on the 14 behind block of beach street, just were 2:30. a red sedan was completely flipped over and pieces of that car can be seen on the sidewalk there. a three three-year old man was brought to the hospital and he is expect to be okay. philadelphia police are investigating what cause aid crash that killed two people on roosevelt boulevard, women were passengers in a suv that police say slammed in the back of the tractor trailer on friday, that tractor trailer was parked legally on the boulevard, near d street, and the dead lid crash comes just days after injury attorneys released a study on the 150 most dangerous intersections in philadelphia, about a dozen

on the healthwatch now an influential government advice rid panel is dropping its opposition to routine prostate cancer screenings for men. health reporter stephanie stahl has more on the new guidelines for psa testing. >> reporter: larry bloomberg's life change when his doctors diagnosed prostate cancer last year. >> we're in time. he said aim in the sure we would have been in time if we had in the done this a year or two from now. >> reporter: sixty-nine year-old's cancer was detected after he opted to have a psa blood test even with no symptoms. the screening was in the recommended by u.s. preventive services task force. now based on the latest research the group has reversed its recommendation and now says that men, 55 to 69, should have a conversation with their doctor and make a decision for themselves. >> men can reduce their chance of dying of prostate cancer, and reduce their chance of having cancer that spread throughout theired about i, these are really important

benefits, but they occur in a small number of men. >> reporter: concern has been psa testing results in over treating cancers which can lead to serious issues like impotence and incontinence. >> it is in the the test but what the reaction to the test is. both on the part of the patient and provider. >> reporter: doctors at penn medicine says advances in detection and closely monitoring low risk cancers are helping men avoid drastic treatment. >> as patient you don't want to panic based on a simple screening test and as a provider you don't want to jump to immediate recommendations for treatment. >> reporter: harry had his prostate removed and has had side effects but says they are getting better. >> side effects are nothing compared to the fact that i will live a licensing life and enjoy my kid and grandchildren >> but not everyone with prostate cancer benefits from treatment, the task force says many men can live with presents state cancer without it causing serious illness or death.

parkinson's disease in 2011, officially, unofficially in 2007. i was diagnosed as young on set. misdiagnosed for three years and then finally diagnosed through a cat scan. what people don't realize it does happen at any age, not just your grandparents disease anymore. >> reporter: you shared some statistics with us earlier. >> more people have parkinson disease then three other disease. and the youngest into date has been recorded as being two years old in canada they suspect has parkinson's disease. >> reporter: thinks fourth annual year you guys are doing this chris, why sit so important for to you get involved and what do you want others to know. >> so, jody and i were married in 2010, we found out about the diagnosis, of parkinson's earlier the next year. we decided to do something bit we didn't want to just sit back and relax and rely on the

medication. we started a non-profit mow meeting exercise as medicine for parkinson's disease. first event was a bike ride, and then we started the rabbit run. we do bike and rabbit run each year. >> reporter: exercise has helped you a lot. >> exercise is my medicine. i decided not to take the gold standard medicine, and i'm using exercise as my medicine, so it is, basically, 10 years i have been doing exercise to combat my symptoms and possibly stall the progression >> reporter: thinks a fun route through the zoo can you explain where money goes and how this will help the organization. >> so, the net proceed from the rabbit run and all of the events that is shake it off does, goes toward, specifically exercise research money has been donated to the university of delaware to their human movement lab, and, especially doctor chris's lab. we donated to the michael j. fox foundation and davis city foundation and cleveland clinic. >> reporter: excellent. we are happy to be here. you can see right now that the

stable condition. in feltonville, alycia nieves for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". pennsylvania governor tom wolf is now calling on philadelphia district attorney seth williams to resign, following thursday suspension of his law license. in a statement the governor says that the people of the philadelphia need a district attorney fully focused on and legally capable of executing the important duties of the top law enforcement official, in pennsylvania's largest city his resignation will allow the employees of the office to focus on their work, and help the citizens that they serve move on. williams is facing federal corruption charges and has entered a not guilty plea, the d.a. will continue to handle his office's administrative duties while assistants take over legal matters. ride sharing services, could soon again be in the cross hairs of the philadelphia parking authority tempers are flaring over short term parking spots at 30th street station. some spots are designated for
