have cameras. >> reporter: family of the fallen correctional officer left the news conference still hoping for closure, but settling for comfort through a hug from the officer who tried to save lieutenant floyd's life. we have reached out to the two former governor name in the suit and still have not heard back from either but current governor issued a statement saying that quote, i can only imagine the floyd family's grief and understanding desire for additional information about the events on february 1st and 2nd, at the same time i would in the want to do anything that would jeopardize the criminal investigation. his office added that any decision to release autopsy is related to the ongoing criminal investigation which is being led by the delaware state police and department of justice. reporting live from the sat center alycia nieves cbs-3 "eyewitness news". new at 6:00 philadelphia police rush a woman to the hospital after hitting her with their car in kensington. this video shows the officers putting would the man inside their cruiser on the 3,000 block of f street, to take her to the hospital.

we're still working to find out what caused the crash and how victim is doing tonight. search for facebook killer is over tonight, steve stephens took his life today near erie, pennsylvania after a chase with police. an employee working a drive through at mcdonald's recognized suspect's car and contacted the police. a chase followed where troopers ran stephens car, forcing to it spin out of control. as officers approached, stephens, took his own life. >> we would have liked to brought steve to peacefully but there may be other people out there in similar situation that is we can help by finding out why he did what he did and what kind of drove him to this >> stephens was wanted for killing 74 year-old robert god win in cleveland on sunday and posting video to facebook. facebook ceo mark zuckerberg pledged to do more to keep communities safe.

eric frein. today prosecutors focused on the autopsy of state police corporal brian dickson. frein is accused of shooting two state troopers at blooming grove barracks in september 2014. corporal dickson died, other was injured. defense did not offer any witnesses in the case. closing arguments are scheduled for tomorrow morning before the case is turned over to the jury. murder trial of the new jersey man accused of killing his own son could extend until late may according to the judge. jury selection in the case against david creato will continue tomorrow in a camden courtroom. creato is charged with killing his three-year old son brand an and leaving his boy body in a wood area in october 2015. community in camden county , new jersey hold a event to combat gun violence. in montgomery county senior adult activity center in norristown could possibly lose funding, under president trump 's proposed budget. boyle worries his most vulnerable constituents may be hit the hardest. youngsters got an unforget table educational experience today at american swedish historical museum in philadelphia. >> kyw news radio justin udo was there for the lesson which involved some sheep. >> reporter: spring is here and that means blooming flowers and chirping bird and time for sheep to be sheared. today students visiting american museum historical museum saw sheep firsthand and learned about shearing. >> it helps kid understand where wool comes from and how clothing is made and come from a rack at a store. wool starts from an animal. that is what we try to do is expose them to the actual animals and kind of go every step of the process. >> reporter: even though this was an educational moment, many of the kid had their mind on other things.

but like all good things, especially in springtime it will not stick around for all that much longer. we are tracking a few shower chances in the forecast and possibly weekend rain but at lee for half of the weekend. we will start off with a look outside, show you this beautiful shot of the lake at jack frost big bold inner carbon county. gorgeous afternoon outside, it is mild up in the poconos, we have blue skies, trees are not quite as full any bloom just yet in the poconos as they are around our area, just this week, can really see that explosion of color, leaves are green, and it is definitely looking different landscape wise then dit just a week or so ago and we will see those trees eventually start to get a few more leaves in carbon county as well. storm scan three shows quiet outside, you can see that big dome of clear air that is where high pressure is in control as we head back to the west we have two systems to watch, this one bringing cloud up and these two joined forces here over next few days. we will see cloud increase tomorrow, cold front will come through as we head into
