we'll focus on important things like weather. >> yes we have a lot to talk about weather-wise showers and storms rolling through tonight and you may wake up to a rumble of thunder or flash of lightning out the window and that continues tomorrow and another chance for showers coming up this weekend. that forecast is evolving. i'm explain what i mean in a moment. let's start outside now to the roof cam you can see cloudy sky now over center city philadelphia and still have a couple of showers sneaking in. as you'll see as we slip over to storm scan 3 here most of these are offer to the south. heaviest rain now is over much of delaware. new castle country especially down to kent county, dover, seeing flashes of lightning being reported this and that crossing to south jersey over saleel and couple better land and we have a few showers and storms breaking out further north towards the lehigh valley and another line to watch. this one right here. this is really been mar vrping across northwestern pa all evening long.

some severe thunderstorms up imbedded within that line and that headed towards the lehigh valley and norm and west suburbs within the next several hours. that will cross through the overnight and into friday morning. and this front is all the way back to the west. still over the ohio valley. it will take its time moving through and in fact it won't completely clear the area until late tomorrow afternoon. >> temperatures now little con the cool side. you can see where we're seeing most of that thunderstorm activity miss us. the air staiblingized and we had southeast whipped today especially through the evening and that dropped temperatures from the 70s into 50s quickly and stabilized atmosphere. not a lot being able to pop here as far as thunderstorm activity and even cooler air lurking over the northern plains get here over the weekend. your future weather picture shows scattered showers and midnight stronger storms marc marching in 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. heavy showers and storms moving through the area. and it's cloudy and dreary and

damp day. few breaks of sun here and there through friday afternoon and notice another chance for scattered showers and storms 4 to 5 p.m. before we clear out friday night. what to expect for friday a morning shower here than starts off kind of gray and some afternoon sun and then watch for spotty afternoon and evening thunderstorms late evening it clears out and but not for long as we widen out here for the weekend you can see another system to watch. it's looked all week as though sunday would be the wet day and saturday now we sped up the timeline. saturday, mostly cloudy much of the day and by saturday evening steady rain and especially off south of philadelphia and watch what the latest models do and try clear it out a little through the day sunday keeping rainfall off south. that's something we have to watch and it may be more of a late saturday, early sunday event versus all day sunday event. so showers, thunderstorms, mainly early tomorrow can't rule it out in the afternoon either. showers move in, steady rain late saturday night and sunday, rain, especially early in the day.
