12:12 pm
it turns out they each had affairs, i thought that was interesting, but the thing that got me, they had only been together, been out 12 times, before they got married. i had thought it was this long courtship. we had seen so much in the media that you assumed that it had been a long, long courtship. but it was not. they had only known each other, only been out 12 times. when you look at it, and when you get to know both of them, you sigh that they're very, very, very different. >> very interesting. and gale you went overseas for this story. where exactly did you go? >> so it is called al thorpe, diana's childhood home. we got permission from her brother charles spencer, you probably remember he spoke at her funeral, and his wife karen spencer, who is an american by the way. we went to them and i had found that -- very effective, don't allow people to shoot there normally. susan, who you probably know from 48 hours fame, she writes a really good letter that susan, but she laid out the

or front after front come along bringing additional wet weather. so we have some showers around right now, but we also want to point out this, this very heavy batch of rain currently falling, encompassing eastern texas, louisianna and is headed our way as well, two pieces of the puzzle here, and again, multiple fronts along with this over the next few days, for now, the heaviest of rain and pretty much all among long has been falling across part of central new jersey, southern new jersey, and back into delaware. now, it appears, like there is a badge edge to this, right? the problem is it keeps coming over the same spots, isn't moving from west to east and clearing out. keeps us rolling in from the south and west, and that's why we've had so many issues with so much rain over the course of the last couple of hours. this is obviously very short list. but specific to parts of new jersey, and delaware, where you've had the heaviest totals so far. about an hour old at this point, so we're definitely going to see some impressive totals out of this, over 2 inches have fallen millville, upper deerfield new jersey, out in hammonton new

jersey shy of one and three quarters of an inch of rainfall already, again still raining it, has been raining now for the last couple of hours. so, these future rain amounts look a lot different than they did earlier on this morning. now just talking about what's left at this point. we've already had about an inch plus worth of rain in a lot of spots. on top of it, you might ends one another maybe tent of an inch, .2 of an inch, or less. this is modulation interpretation, important to note, regardless looks like the worse of this will be behind us, and in the next couple of hours. so taking a look at future weather i think tells the story really well. do have more filled in than was currently being shown on this initialization, but i like the timing on this, by 2:00, 3:00 in the afternoon, bulk of the precipitation headed up toward new york city where your travels take you tonight, you may get delayed by. that will but it is all out of here by the time we hit the evening rush, ponding on the roads, especially i jersey, delaware, still have spray from the other vehicles on the roadway, but heaviest of the rain will be departing at this

pointer than left over shower bathesly out the woods with the storm. the problem is that's not where it end. we ends one more systems down the road here. but, at the moment, i mean, just what a dreary start to the afternoon here outside our own station headquarters being some clouds cover skewing the top of the skyline are hi, so very saturated air mass, clouds dumb ago lot of water on us here in the form of raindrops currently falling out of the board walk plaza in rehoboth, yes, couple of brave souls still taking the afternoon walk out on the board walk, so for the rest of the day expect it will still be raining, mikely some embedded thunder, high hits 70, tonight drop down to about 606 degrees, and the worse of the showers will be tapering off. notice what happens here. i think wednesday, at this point, probably your best bet to get any, you know, extensive outdoor plans in. but we have system after system coming along here, so tomorrow more rain, more rain thursday, more rain friday, then possibly sunday, too.
