vigil, alycia. >> reporter: ukee an vigil here outside city hall wrapped up a few minutes ago. small group that gathered here but one that has a strong connection to manchester and tragedy there. a vigil outside city hall in philadelphia, people here gathering in honor of those killed yesterday, in the uk. about two dozen ariana grande concert goers at uk's manchester arena died, dozens more were injured by an explosion after the concert. the tragedy here, claimed as a terror attack by isis. >> it happened, my friend were from philly, manchester, as it is going on. i follow it. it was just something that affected me. i felt like i had to do something. >> reporter: vigil was organize by christie rockwell, most who are here are like her , they lived in manchester, british city devastate by most recent terror attack, an attack that killed some as young as eight years old.

>> it is awful, scary, you know, i know, right at you know, like right where they dit, it is so, it is maximum damage right as people go for the train. i know it so well. >> reporter: again, those that gathered here were all from manchester or lived there at some point vigil was a way to honor those involved in yesterday's terror attack and also for a way for those here to grief. reporting live outside city hall alycia nieves for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". montgomery county company smg of west conshohocken manages manchester arena spokesperson says arena mc. is cooperating with the police investigation. company also offered condolences to the victim and their families. the philadelphia police department says it is continuing to take necessary precaution toss keep people safe here and at home in the wake of the manchester attack.

stephanie says she's lucky to be alive. >> reporter: she's lucky. almost 800,000 people in the united states have a stroke every year. most people don't realize young people are at risk too. surviving depends on quick action but many people don't know all of the warning signs to look out for. hand washing can be tricky for 31 year-old christie fleming, she cannot feel hot or cold and whole left side of her body is weak, so is her memory all sim tolls from the stroke she had last year. >> you think stroke, heart attack is an elderly person. you don't think a 30 year-old. >> reporter: warminster office manager said it happened out of no where, first her arm went numb and then her whole body. >> it was terrifying. like my life was flashing before my eyes, i truly had no idea what was happening. >> reporter: fortunately she got quick treatment with the c lot busting drug. >> three different types of strokes with three causes.

>> reporter: this doctor at temple hospital says 80 percent of strokes are caused by a blood clot in the brain, and while strokes usually happen to older people and those with risk factors like heart disease, no one is immune. >> stroke is one of the leading causes of disability and mortality in the country. >> reporter: hoping to reverse that the american heart association has launched a campaign called fast, to educate people about strokes. the f is for face, strokes cause weakness or numbness in the face, a forearm which can get weak or numb. s is speech often affected by the stroke and t stand for time. >> the opportunity to treat that stroke is limited by time the quicker, more quickly we get to the hospital, better chance we have of surviving with as little biscuit as possible. >> reporter: christie has trouble tasting food another stroke side effect but she feels lucky to survived and learned an important lesson. >> things can happen to anyone at anytime.

conditions. cooler then average. 56 degrees right now, 66 degrees. east wind at six and that easterly component to the wind flow off the atlantic ushering in cooler air and these dreary conditions. temperatures right now cooler then average in all of our reporting sites. sixty-four in ac. sixty in wildwood. sixty-five in trenton. we have easterly wind flow off the atlantic, atlantic temperature in the upper 50's to near 60, so that water is still quite cool. so wind speed are rather light right now but that easterly wind flow that has been so persistent over last couple days and will continue to be persistent tomorrow will cause a minor flooding at our shore points, delaware beach, so national weather service issued a coastal flood advisory at 6:00 p.m., until midnight. time frame will be right around high tide time at seven or 8:00 in the evening along the coast tomorrow. head up for. that for this evening pretty quiet, cloudy, mild, passing sprinkles. temperatures in the 60's as we head in the overnight period. scattered showers developing

especially in and around the city. point south ande with the low temperature of 57 degrees. storm scan three showing us cloud, definitely in place on the satellite imagery and we have moisture starting to build in off to our south and west, so head up central and southern delaware. we will see this rain, building in, really over next hour where we will see light rain coming down. we have a widespread area of precipitation, in association with another area of low pressure, that will pass by off shore, and heaviest of rainfall positions right now in southeastern, virginia and eastern north carolina will pass off shore but still a good soaking expected along the jersey shore overnight tonight and for south jersey once again. future weather showing thus particular model, aggressive, models having a hard time area of low pressure. but best chance of rainfall will be along i-95 points south ande. especially after midnight tonight. we will head into early tomorrow morning. still some rainfall activity around, especially along the coast we will watch out for.
