being a brief break in the action. fifty-eight at the airport. dew points are high. we have moisture to work with to help continue to bring these showers but here's the general idea for the day. there will be sunshine later this afternoon. our highs will still be comfortably mild in the lower 70's, cooler then average. but there is a new storm system looming, and it will make its advance and arrival, actually in the overnight hours. once that gets here we have more wet weather to dodge and there is even more of that by the time we hit holiday weekend. couple breaks, granted between systems here, meisha but this is a busy pattern. >> we have to enjoy it while we have it. get outside your homes later this afternoon. thanks very much, katie. looking outside waking up to those wet roadways and it will be slow. look at i-95 in the southbound direction at betsy ross, this is looking slow, already and we are just now cracking in the 6:00 o'clock hour. this is not what it looked like yesterday. it was more toward i would say

philadelphia. officers were called to the 900 block of south 58th street and cobbs creek just after 1:00 a.m. they found victim believed to be in his 20's or 30's who had been shot in the back of the head from point blank range and he died at the scene. search is also on for gunman who shot a man in north philadelphia, this happened shortly after midnight on the 2700 block of north dover street, police say officers patrolling the area heard a gunshot and they rushed over to find 40 year-old victim shot in the head and he was rush to the hospital in critical condition. we are on verdict watch this morning, case against david creato, junior, camden county father accused of killing his three-year old sonnies in the hand of the jury. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do is live outside camden county courthouse where deliberations will resume in a few hours, good morning, trang do. >> reporter: good morning rahel and jim. verdict could come down as early as today as this is first full day of deliberations for this jury that began yesterday but only talk for about 20 minutes after a full day of closing

airing oops. david creato junior's attorney richard spent an hour an a half tuesday explaining to the injury why i his client is a grieving father who lost his son not calculating killer as painted by the prosecution. >> he is a victim. >> reporter: creato is on trial for murder of his three-year old son brandon. creato reported toddler missing on the morning of october 13th, 2015. three hours later a k-9 discovered boy's body lying on the rock in the wooded area of cooper river park. in an autopsy it ruled his death as homicide by undetermined cause. in her closing arguments prosecutor christine shah suggested creato smothered his son. the child's green socks point to the fact that someone placed him at the park. >> smothering brandon solved every single one of his problems. >> reporter: biggest problem, according to the prosecution was creato's teenage girlfriend who didn't like being around the little boy.

a tornado leaves a path of destruction in north carolina funnel cloud was captured on cell phone video in autryville just off i-95. it was an ef1 tornado with wind speed up to 110 miles an hour. twister caused damage for 14 miles including at a volunteer firehouse. despite pictures there are no reports of the serious injuries. these pup is in wisconsin are lucky to be alive, they were born during a tornado last week and barn they were in was destroyed in that storm >> while this tornado was going on a 40-ton silo was shifted 12 inches. imagine what that must have done, trauma wise, i mean just the sheer pressure had to be horrifying to these animals. >> wow. >> the dogs will be available for adoption in a few weeks. >> incredible that they survived that. >> cute things. >> yeah. >> i just loved that, that

an extra layer, since we have had some rain moving through. we have a brand new watcher to welcome this morning, jamie sway, she joins us this morning from dividing creek, new jersey, one of the lesser known smaller towns in, southern new jersey and she's first watcher that we have in this area i'm so thrilled to welcome her to the program. good morning, jamie. she's reporting cloud overhead right now, 56 degrees, cross the bay into andie segal reported 57. he has had some rain over the course of the last 10 minutes or so and we have got very high humidity as you might imagine here. lots of moisture. he is looking for sunshine. we will see some of it before the day is said and done, but we will find one more, zero in on 58 degrees, coming from phil, he actually has a couple of breaks of sunshine right now. kind of depend where you are when are seeing skies, begin to clear already or you have wet weather to dodge but we do still have this first batch pulling away skies do start to clear. here's the next storm.

that gets in here by late tonight. even though we will catch a break for the rest of the day and evening, overnight, more rain gets underway and in between, watch, we will have a coastal flood advisory through the delaware beaches and new jersey shoreline from 6:00 p.m. tonight to midnight. actual high tide seven offer 8:00 p.m. or so. there won't be any rain to track at that point. it is just all built up from system to system coming in that coastal flood threat. looking forward there are some more systems to track, again, tomorrow, lingering showers coming on friday, behind it, saturday looks good. that is your bright spot but sunday and monday renewed chance of showers or thunderstorms. >> of course, they do katie, we just hit repeat button on the radio every morning. well good morning to you. so, because of all of those rainy roadways what we're seeing is problem spots out there, so just a head up, vehicle spun out here, and hits this concrete section ramp from schuylkill eastbound to southbound blue route, i would say if you have to head out there right now take it
