starting to get right now. just heads up. don't want to leave your homes little earlier this morning, even though it is a friday, and this area, as well. we have accident 95 north before route 420 delaware county. you can see crews are out there trying to get it towed. move everything out of your way. we are still getting gaper delay coming around the bend. good news, not too dark any more the fog, whatever fog we were seeing, camera shots, kind of dissipating. looks like just clearing now. great. that's exactly what we want to see in the area. delaware county, 59 north again before route 420, looks like they're just now moving out of your way. big thumbs-up. headed out there with probably no problems. serious accident cumberland county new jersey involving a pedestrian. that was struck, very serious injuries, route six a southbound closed before route 47. you will have to use an alternate. route 47 will be your best bet around there. this is still out there. is going to start now, causing some problems for us. jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, meisha. so braking news, officials trying to figure out what

caused a tour bus, to smash into a tractor-trailer on the new jersey turnpike, sending over 30 people to area hospitals. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at cooper university hospital where some of the victims are being treated this morning, trang, good morning, what's the latest now? >> good morning, rahel, jim. we are told this tour bus depart from the new york city last night, and was head today virginia, as well as atlanta. fortunately, there were no serious injuries in this accident. now, of the 51 people involved in the accident, 32 are transport today area hospitals, including nine here at cooper hospital, but take a look at some video of the scene overnight. >> this accident happened just around 1:00 a.m., in the southbound lanes of the new jersey turnpike near mile marker 19. that's in the area of west depford township. turnpike spokesman says a bus caring 49 passengers and tractor-trailer collided causing the tractor-trailer jackknife and the bus to over turn into some bushes along the side of the highway. now, again, 32 of the 49 passengers on the bus are being treated for minor

injuries, at a number of hospitals, in the area. the drivers every both the bus and the tractor-trailer were not hurt in this accident. now, traffic as you can imagine was back up for several hours on the southbound lanes of the new jersey turnpike, and they're open just in time for the morning commute. and at this time no word on the cause of this accident. for now, live in camden, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> still a lot more questions there, trang, thank youment. >> in other news, philadelphia police are trying to figure out if narcotics played a role in a overnight shooting in cobbshooting incobbs creek thatn hospitalized. police found the victims sitting on the stems of the home near 58 and christian streets before midnight. managed to run a block, he was rushed to the hospital where he's list in the critical condition. so far, no arrest have been made. >> president's son-in-law, jared kushner, continue probe into russian election meddling. investigators now looking into meetings that kushner held in

brother being bee continued in libya. >> creato murder trial beginning deliberations next tuesday after break for the memorial day weekends. creato faces life in prison if convicted in the murder of hess three year olson brendan back in 2015. defense attorneys say prosecutors failed to prove that creato killed brendan. the prosecution said they killed his son because the three year old interfered with creato's relationship with a teenage girlfriend. maria planningen shown here awarded $95.6 million after a city, center city building collapse. in 2013 building on the demolition at 22nd and market fell on to the salvation army store next to it. she was burried under the rubble, of the store, for 13 hours. her injuries were so severe, her body below her hips had to be amputated. the collapse killed seven, injured 12 others. >> the this summer will be the last summer you can light a cigarette on the wildwood boardwalk. yesterday officials vote today

lehigh valley, shore point, it is a quiet morning. few light showers out there, but sunshine now, across the majority of the region. that's good news for us. see some green, don't freak out everybody. this is definitely not a wash out after day. see increasing cloud cover through our saturday, maybe very small chance for stray shower, late afternoon, evening hours, will stay well to the south probably in philadelphia. so if you are down maybe the delaware, shore points down toward cape may, you know, well down into south jersey, that's where we are watching for the chance every maybe stray shower tomorrow late in the day sunshine late sunday, then watch for another late day chance for shower or isolated thunder, cold front starts it approach, then monday, we are watching for another round of possibly shower or thunderstorm, the good news, though, again,

friday and saturday, for the most part looking pretty nice. those temperatures all weekend long comfortable, tomorrow, 57 e day shower or under this thunderstorm, we go with high of 70 monday. down the shore with unfortunately not a ton of sunshine, 83 for us, for our high temperature monday here in the city with again chance for shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. and getting a look at the seven day forecast, just quickly, 78 saturday, 76 sunday, meisha, then those 80s with nicer weather, tuesday toward wednesday and thursday. >> tuesday looks real nice. nice start to the holiday weekends, thank you so muchment looking outside, good morning, happy friday to you. so actually looking at some flooding. talking about the wet roadways, damp roadways, this is what we are looking at. blue route, off ram top route 30. you can see what i am talking about wet roadways, some of the ponding where we've got it, actually produced some flooding situations. so just a heads up. take it easy on s areas, specially where you know if there is a lot of water.

katie pointing this out, saying just little water sometimes can actually make your car -- heads up, blue route southbound off ram top route 30. more flooding in new jersey, route 130 northbound at route 47. one lane is blocked in that area. and i believe we are more flooding here, yes, paradise road, one lane is block there, so kind of scattered about, predominantly in new jersey, where we are seeing the flooding, but just heads up on the blue route area. then, live look at 42 freeway northbound creek road. see how many of your neighbors are out there. gorgeous shot, you can see the sun and kind of keeping our eye on the southbound side of 42, as well, people headed down the shore of course, for memorial weekends. so, southbound looking great. northbound side, moving little bit toward 295, looking okay now since cleared, we do have another accident montgomery county we are talking about coming up in the next ten minute, rahel, jim, back to you. >> thank you.

driver leads officers on car chase through the street of l a and leaves quite a bit of damage. >> oh, oh, there goes taking out two gate. >> must admit i enjoy watching these things. officers managed to stop the gate crasher using pitman offer. man and woman inside the get-away car originally wanted for stealing that vehicle. they surrendered, were taken into police custody. >> meanwhile, take a lock at this, wisconsin woman fights off carjackers, melissa smith said she was pumping gas, when thieves tried to steel her car tuesday. see the cadillac pull up there. the car thief crouches down, then get behind the wheel of her car, well, that's when she literally jumps into action. melissa, hood of her car and refused to budget. >> laughing while on my car, trying to throw me off. so zero remarks. >> how about this? she admits she didn't even think about the danger of jumping on the hood until afterward. thieves did eventually give

cloud cover, temperatures sitting in the 50's, in many spots, but high 50's, so pretty seasonable, even some 60s headed back down toward the shore point. little warmer down along the beach. 77 degrees, what we are being looking at for high temperature today, will get little breezy in the afternoon, and here is our memorial day weekends forecast. up to the 80s, but not a ton of sunshine, so meisha trading it off. i know you like the 80s, unfortunately we all wish we could have more sunshine on the extra day off. >> always that trade off. trying to be positive about it, but sometimes oh, pushing us to our limit, pushing it. accident route 35 eastbound past route 113, see walking left lane and left shoulder. take it easy around the area because you can see how much of the backups are starting to see gaper delays. and if i were you, i would just avoid the area, at all costs, and, give yourselves

extra time, going to need it. plus talking about wet roadways, and little flood that we have in certain areas, blue route southbound the off ramp to route 30 eastbound. that's where we're seeing it even just a little bit of the water can sometimes affect the commute. by the way, speaking of water, this can also affect, the airport, the airport, they've some concellations and delays, so for those of you that are traveling by flight today, just make sure to check your schedules, your carriers, before you leave. and also, check at the airport as well. this is what they've been tweeting, concellations there and also talking about an accident here montgomery county. heads up on this, kutztown road closed between because ers mill road, congress owe road, alternate route 29 will be your best bet. more coming up in a little bit. jim, back over to you. >> updating breaking news, traffic on the new jersey turnpike west depford township flowing again after tractor-trailer and tour bus heading to virginias well as

atlanta crashed in the southbound lanes around 1:00 this morning, told 50 people a boards the tour bus, depart from the new york sit last night, 32 people were taken to the hospital. neither driver was hurt in the crash. the collision caused the tractor to jackknife, sending the bus into bushes on the side of the highway. officials are still trying to determine what caused that crash. >> and investigators still aren't sure what caused a medical helicopter to crash near an airport in new castle, delaware. >> authority say 37 year old pilot michael murphy of franklinville, new jersey died in that accident. the chopper left a cloud of black smoke, after it went down yesterday afternoon, behind a postal facility on quigley boulevard. it is registered to the university of pennsylvania, murphy was on training flight from atlantic city international airport at the time of the crash. he was the only one on boards that chopper. one eyewitness said it was a disturbing scene. >> i look up in the sky. i saw this -- or i heard it, explode, then i saw the black

smoke. it was terrible. i'm still shaking because i envision a life there gone. >> national transportation safety board, the fa a and the delaware state police, are investigating this crash, no one on the grounds was hurt. >> two people have been hospitalized after a rail car in gloucester county started leaking flammable gas. 30,000 gallons of gas leaked from tanker as pure lands industrial park in logan township yesterday morning. by the afternoon, hazmat crews were placed what they say was faulty valve. hundreds of workers at the industrial park had to go home early. children at day care center nearby sent to hotel for their safety. >> we're learning more about the man wanted in the brutal attack of disable man in chester county. now take a look at the surveillance video taken earlier this month, in 7-eleven parking lot in west chester. police say 29 year old barry baker, mocked a man with cerebral palsy before sucker punch him in the face. baker now facing more charges for violating a probation violation in a domestic
