my own, personal bubble man and he makes bubbles all around me and i just take them where every get to bring joy to everyone but yes. it is cool on the boardwalk but we have got bubbles, we have got families. we have people with happy face s kicking off a three day or maybe four day if you are lucky holiday weekend. unofficial start to summer. we have been dry. we caught some sun when we first got here a few hours ago definitely have breeze and we are feeling that breeze all across the delaware valley. we will wrap up as we head in the overnight period but temperatures right now generally in the 70's across the region. we are calling it 71 in wildwood. seventy-four in philadelphia cooler in the poconos, temperatures in the 60's but that breeze is definitely kick nothing, generally up around 10, 15, even 25 miles an hour winds reported in lancaster. as we head in the evening breezy conditions watching out for isolated shower or sprinkle temperatures falling back in the upper 60's and

then overnight tonight staying dry. dry is the key to the forecast partly cloudy, seasonal with the low temperature falling back down to 60 degrees ukee we won't to have worry about any rain out here for the 10 and 11:00 later tonight. hopefully i'll my bubble man and we will have more bubbles and talk more about the weekend forecast coming up in a few. >> you know, lauren, i'm not too worried about rain but these bubbles are hurting my eye a little bit. we are having fun. that is bottom line. >> wrap it up, wrap it up. >> you know what we are having fun no doubt about that but that doesn't mean there won't be people watching, for those who are, shall we say stepping over the line. mayor ernie troiana said they have beefed up local police force to hand the memorial day crowd. the officers will be red/the beach and boardwalk to handle naig may happen over the next three days. >> come down have a good time. if you don't do it at home don't do it here.

"eyewitness news" reporter david spunt joins us live from west chester with the story, david? >> reporter: jessica, beginning. his name is barry baker, 29 years old, he is on the run right now, u.s. marshals are on the case with the local fugitive task force. they want bake tore turn himself in as soon as possible

this is video that season members of the law enforcement say is difficult to watch, a man with cerebral palsy, is minding his own business outside a west chester 7-eleven when police say 29 year-old barry baker mocks and then clocks him in the face way sucker punch. >> this is so blatant so absolutely repulsive to anybody who sees it. >> reporter: chester county sheriff bunny welsh is personally involved in finding baker and she's not wasting anytime. we found out baker has a long criminal past. he pleaded guilty to stealing metal flag holders from veterans graves a decade ago. he sold them to a scrap metal company. >> we pray for barry and pray for his heart. >> reporter: mike is with baptist church and his cemetery is where the crime happened. he wasn't here in 2006 when baker stole the markers but pastor says it was a sad day, and the church's nearly 300 year-old history.

authorities say baker also hit another church cemetery. >> we're here anytime, more than happy to be a resource to tell him or anybody else who wants to hear about who god is >> reporter: baker was booked and released for punching the man with cerebral pause think week. he was supposed to come back to court on unrelated charges but never showed up. authorities tell "eyewitness news" baker has contacts in downingtown, coatsville and georgetown, delaware. a source say baker mentioned possibly fleeing to florida. sheriff welsh says he makes a mistake by running and need to own up to what he did to the victim. >> it is just so despicable wow take position not only mocking him but then assaulting him it is hard to comprehend. >> i reached out still no word from baker's attorney in west chester. if you have any information about barry baker's whereabouts call 911 or the chester county sheriff's department. reporting live david spunt for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you very much. attention septa riders,

>> just absolutely right. that is the food, let's talk about the fun. lets show you a shot from drone watch three float ago above the water park at moreys pier which draws a crowd looking to cool off from the summer fun. cbs-3's pat gallen got under the board to see how water works at a water park along morey mariners landing. memorial day weekend, unofficial start of summer and at a time when tens of thousands flock to the beach. >> this is where so many memories at the shore are made , morey piers in wildwood, new jersey where families have been coming for the last 50 years. since late 70's morey piers have helped us cool off on those hot summer days at their water park. >> first generation came in 70 's, 78 or 79. original slide were on the hill side and concrete trucks. these won behind me are some of the very first wonderful in the world that were built out of fiberglass. >> reporter: they prepare for

course nor rain but plenty of sun, and about nine to 11 miles per hour wind. it is always ideal. >> very specific, nine to 11. >> absolutely, and of course, wind coming from the east are always the best wind as well because there is no blockage of any buildings, or piers so east wind is always ideal, as well. >> interesting. i learned something new. sea breeze for the kites. also shape of the kite all different shapes, is what the best shape to get your kite up and flying. >> there is no definitive shape that is better for one then the other. we have large inflatable kites and we have four line sub kites, all sorts of inflatable kites again with different styles, scenes, shapes, sizes all tethered to a line anchored in the sand. so wind conditions if they are ideal and you'll see boat load of beautiful kites up in the sky this weekend. >> that sound amazing. for the whole family, things

now, wind speed up around 10, 20, miles an hour with the higher gusts, gusting in the 30 miles an hour range annes our reporting sites. as we head into tonight, we will sea breeze wind down a bit, overnight tonight we are not worried about rainfall but we could see passing sprinkle heading in the next couple of hours, but as we head in the day tomorrow, conditions not looking too bad for our saturday kicking off holiday weekend with increasing cloud, having to watch out for late day shower or thunderstorm, but as we head into memorial day things not looking too bad , it is not a wash out but we will have rain chances kind of every day but that best rain chance as we head into tomorrow west of i-95 but we could see late day shower, thunderstorm along the coast. keep an eye to the sky during that time frame late afternoon and early evening. as we head into sunday we will see increasing cloud so there will be sometime of sunshine high temperatures in the 70's as we head into sunday and in
