showing you showers out here this morning, they are now extending little bit further south closer toward some of the jersey shore points, those have kinds of woken up, if you are south of atlantic city becomes drain start to the day. again, few showers could start to now work their way in, out toward the poconos, also, little bit on the wet side this morning, maybe even rumble every thunder for you folks up in the poconos n general, dealing with this spit shower activity for pretty much the entirety of the day. had some fog yesterday morning, usually get little bit of the rain we can get limited visibility. good news for the most part, not too bad. maybe some limited visibility back toward ac or up toward mount pocono, that's p it, we are again watching for temperatures today aren't too bad, up to 50's, 60s, 60 in atlantic city, 59 millville, 58 this morning, just waking up this allentown, with 57 in trenton. as well. again, our temperatures not too bad. up to 78, but not the greatest beach day for us, down at the shore points, cool 634 for the water temperature still, and

police say the violence began at the home of the suspect's in-laws, and then spread to two other homes. >> my wife, my stepdaughter, my sister-in-law, a deputy, he left our residents and he killed two juveniles, and then he killed my wife's neice and her husband. >> he was hospitalized with a gunshot wounds, it is unclear who shot him, he was last listed into good can. they do plan to charge him with murder. >> the us might ban laptops from passenger cabins on all international flight. it affect about 50 flights per day, mostly middle east, for those flights all electronics, bigger than smart phone, has to be check in. well, yesterday, homeland security john kelly said he might expands the ban to all international flight, once again, going to and from the us. >> a potential fire hazard leads to lawn mower recall,

around 28,000 cobalt and green works cordless electronic lawn mowers are being recalled, because they could catch fire. the lawn mowers sold from 2014 to 2016. now the maker says that owners should remove the battery and contact the company for a free repair. so far five reported injuries, but no, five reported fires, but no injuries. >> americans today pause to go mark memorial day, honoring american soldiers who pay the cost of freedom with their lives, media delaware county just one of many towns with special ceremonies. there will be parade at 10:00 a.m. on state street. yesterday the legendary budweiser clydesdale horses rode through the center of town. they led the parade followed by veterans. >> even though the weather hasn't been too summer like this memorial day weekends, people still apparently flock to the shore, just change every pace after what felt like very long winter. pat gallen on the boardwalk in ocean city. he's on the move. pat, i have to tell you, you're the only one i know who could be out there in the rain and still wearing a smile.

good morning, my friends. >> good morning, rahel. things are good out here, sort of. when i heard i would be on ocean city memorial day weekends, fantastic, what great way to wake up, get to surrey out here, get the flood blowing on memorial day, but it is raining, little nasty out here so far. but not complaining because it is a holiday weekend, and it is supposed to clear up. so hopefully that's the case. gave you a little play-by-play what's going on this weekend. we started when summer fest on friday, in wildwood. it was beautiful. we have thousands of people come out check out what we were doing, and that's going to pass throughout the summer different towns, not just the shore, we will be all over the place. so friday was great. saturday, i was actually in wildwood, stayed therefore the weekends, beautiful. we got beach day in. did rain little bit. late afternoon. sunday little bit of different story. tried to hit the beach. little cooler. but rained and it continues to rain down here right now. so how has that affected things here in ocean city where we are? this sufficiency from

13th street bikes. we got it from my man tony, and he talks about what's going on here in ocean city. >> it is really really exciting, every year, cable every like teaching school. because you have a beginning and an end, you watch it build, and you really are excited for it to get here. kind of excited for it to be over. and so it is great. we live here, and really really quiet in the winter, then the weekends starts to builds, then the weekdays build, and it goes in reverse, so very cool. >> yes, so tony told me it, has been a bit of mixed bag so far this weekend. obviously with the rain off and on saturday, then again sunday, he said actually sunday morning it was slam here. that's good for business for a guy like tony who only does the bike in season, and hopefully it will start to warm up as we get through into june, and i think l so rahel, i know you're back there solo. and i apologize for that, but, you know what? i think it has to be time to go. what do you think? i got to get out of this rain

morning. riding the surrey around, again, you can see why he was wearing that raincoat, definite dreary and messy start to the memorial day, unfortunately, we hopefully will get few breaks of sunshine, later on this afternoon. looking at the eyewitness weather watchers, though, this memorial day, i think they're sleeping n and i don't blame them for today. only couple of people out there talking to us about what's going on, 58 degrees this morning, at phil's house in fill, saying it is cloudy out there, little bit. maybe few sprinkles coming in few spot to 59 degrees at david's house in clem own ton, also looking at cloudy conditions there. and as we move just a little bit to the north, toward cherry hill, 58, at jenny's house also with a few light showers, and even further, just barely to the north of jen any willingboro, new jersey, saying 57, few light showers, and he kind of took it in stride, saying the grass seed did need a little bit of watering. so this rain helping him out this morning. we are going to be taking a

look at what's going on outside. this is storm scan3, you can see, our big area of low pressure spirals in the great lakes. and that's going to be kind of slowly feeding some of our showers pushing them to the east, maybe see stray thunderstorms in the northern sections of the viewing area, back toward the poconos here early on in the day today. future weather, couple of spotty showers out there, as we go through the afternoon hours. today, we will hopefully see maybe some breaks every sunday shine, see by 1:00 most of the main precipitation, well off to the north. that's good news for us, just few spotty showers, out over to our west. and as we go through the rest of the overnight tonight, in general, real i go going to be dry evening for us. that's good news. we will also be looking for temperatures that are staying mild, little bit of above seasonal for this time of year, we will be probably sitting in the low 60s for the most mart. going through and into our tuesday, that's when our next system kind of comes in, weak boundery, could give us few

showers, maybe isolated rumble every thunder throughout the day on our tuesday, so could possibly be wet start to the short work week. sixty-four for the water temperature so chilly chilly morning down there, and it could be little on the cool side this afternoon, 08 degrees, for our memorial day forecast, and overnight tonight, as i said 60 for the low. so we are, meisha, unfortunately, not looking at the greatest memorial day. the good news, not a lot of folks out on the roads this, mo, not necessarily dealing with all of this kind of dreary wet they are morning. i don't think. >> yes, matt good thing is the saving grace it really is about what it stands for anyway. so wet whether we have a little bit of rain or the sun, i guess we just have to take t thanks, matt. your weather watcher phil has been tweeting gorgeous pictures every plants all morning, so he's up with us, one that's up with us. >> you know what? he usually is. >> yes. >> sometimes, sometimes, when other people are slacking, phil picks up the slack for everybody else. >> he really does, check it out on twitter guys, maybe make sure to visit us.

good morning tonight you know what? happy happy memorial day. looking outside, some of our road shots, basically what we're seeing, very very wet. seeing a lot of pooling of the rain. getting on the bridges, underneath the bridge dicks, sidewalks, side streets, all of that, the smaller street, that's where you're going to be the most wet. because that far little worried about hydroplane, so just take it easy, sometimes with the open roadways, you tend to go faster but not today because of how wet it is, i would say drop it little than lower he is speeds because of all of the rain on the head ways. hydroplane will be a factor today. good news, no accidents out there. no hydroplaning, 42 freeway, creek road, take a look at this, the northbound side keeping our eye on, but it would be later this afternoon, a the love people coming back from being down the shore. overall right now, traveling northbound, where you would be headed out to. looking good there. schuylkill same story, it will look very quiet today.
