little cluttered here. see that reflected in a camera shot i'll show now second here, but to start things off, quick peak at storm scan3, which at the moment is very quiet. see, right on the tail end of the loop, across central delmarva, few specs of green starting to show up. that will fill in a little bit more so as the day goes on. here is the thing. you've got frontal boundary that's stuck, stationary front, piece of energy moving along it, do stay little unsettled. hear me say that word a lot lately. regardless watch for few scattered showers because of t as the day wears on. and here is that example. almost looks like the camera lens just dirty but you do have low-lying cloud cover. 53 degrees it the junior senior high school in bern ville. talking out in the suburbs like farmland terrain. and i would say that specially the most outlying regions, suburbs, where you will end up finding any fog develop. don't have too much to speak of here in the city for sure. scattered showers around throughout the day though as we mention. daytime highs remain on the cool side.

little bit. if that's your neck of the woods maybe give yourself couple of extra minute, also restart this vine construction project closed between, between 11:00 p.m. 5:00 a.m. tuesday, wednesday and thursday. jim rahel back to you. >> thank you shall meisha. updating breaking news 7-eleven clerk gunned down during robbery in philadelphia's talcony section. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at the scene, trang, we know you rush from your first scene to this scene, very early, but what do you know? >> rahel, jim, paramedics rushed that clerk to aria-torresdale hospital where he was in stable condition. he was shot once in the arm. but take a look here at the scene. you can see, obviously, police have taken over this parking lot. and the store remains closed as investigation continues to gather evidence inside the store. here's what we do know, after 4:00 a.m., officers responded to the 7-eleven, corner of torresdale hankins tans for report of shooting. mr. is say two employees inside the store when two men wearing face masks came in. one man remained at the door

as a look out while the other pointed a gun and ordered one employee to open up the cash register, the employee complied, but the robber wanted more. take a listen. >> the employee was ordered to open the register. he opened the register, he did cooperate. gave the male the money from that register. and then the male with the gun ordered him to open up the other register, which he could not. and because he could not, the male with the gun, i guess, got frustrated, and fired at the employee. >> now, both men then ran out of the store in a short time later though officers stopped one of the men who they believe to be the look-out. he was on top of a rooftop nearby. now, fortunately, for the officers, the entire incident captured on surveillance cameras being hoping they will help them id2 suspect, again, one turn of interest in custody. they believe he is the look out. but they are waiting for a formal id. but for now, live in talcony,

trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," rahel, jim, back to you. >> thank, thank you. >> meanwhile in other news 14 year old boy is dead and another teen in the hospital after shooting in the city kensington section. police say the boys were gunned down on the 2,000 block of east orleans street around 9:30 last night. we are told the 16 year old boy who survived is in stable condition. at last check, no arrests have been made, offers remembers trying to figure out with a spark the gunfire. >> jury selection starts today in doylestown for the trial of lower bucks county man accused of sexually assaulting six sisters, 53 year old lee kaplan faces long list of charges, after police found 11 girls in his feasterville home last summer. two were his own children, fathered 14 year old girl, gifted to kaplan by her parent, after kaplan helped them with finances. that girl's parents now await sentencing on endangerment charges. also, happening today, jury deliberations resume in the trial of david creato, jr., accused in the murder every his three year old son brandon.

found dead in cooper river park, now, before the holiday recess, jurors wanted to see creato's interview with police detective. today jurors have asked to hear previous testimony from the detective and cell phone expert. >> former pan main yum dictator manuel nor august owe has died. he passed monday following cam cases from brain surgery. hena daniels look back august owe's life and legacy. >> a one time us ally and cia informant, manuel died monday night. two month after undergoing surgery in panama city, to remove a benign tumor from his brain. panama's current president, announced the former dictator's death on twitter saying his passing marked a closing of a chapter, in panama's history. noriega ruled from 1983 to 1989, period marked by corruption and murder of political opponent. for a time, he was key us ally until tied to drug trafficking and working with the likes of

>> ♪ >> ♪ >> ♪ >> ♪ >> welcome back everyone, a california water park is under investigation after a ten year old boy hydroplaned off of a water slide. cameras captured the moment the child was coming down the slide, and watched as he goes flying off and soaring into the air. safety and health inspectors now investigating the incident which happened in the san francisco bay area. park was forced to shutdown some of its water slides after sunday's incident. officials want to make sure whatever happened, doesn't happen again. >> so far, they're not drawing any conclusions, they would really like to speak and have some questions for the manufacturer, and obviously, our collective goal is to get to the bottom of it.

>> now the park keeping two of it six slides closed until the investigation is complete. now, amazingly, this boy suffered only minor scrapes and he's going to be okay. >> glad that he's going to be okay, hard to believe, though. two south carolina ben franklin in trouble with the law for allegedly forces small alligator to drink beer. two men posted pictures on snap chat. authority tracked them down. two men say they found the alligator crossing a road, grabbed it, poured the beer into the gator's open mouth, afterward let it go in a pond. the two face harrassment and other charges. >> walk up and down the beach this season may see fewer of the plastic beach tags. >> it doesn't mean people are getting free ride. proof the purchase will be on their cell phone. bradley beach claims it become the first in 1929 to require badges, is the latest to offer an app to purchase them. asbury park shall seaside heights, ventnor city also over the mobile purchase option. it can be sweeped, and beach entryways will replace the plastic badges all together.

speckles out there. you got to mention it when you little bit of activity on storm scan, and that settles future radar. you have to mention some showers in the forecast here, but they'll be very, very scattered. that will be the key word for you here today. but again, here is the possibility of heavier thunderstorm, may actually just ends up being removed to the southwest, regardless there will still be stormy weather to track at least nearby. later tonight then we go, bit more, and also warm up bit more. visible been pretty ideal all-in-all. clouds are out there. but high enough, feeling, that you don't have to worry about low clouds, skewing your view on the highway here on 95. it is a little worse though going toward the 78, 22, up toward mount pocono, i08 interchange, so watch out for. that will it is not again ideal morning, but we certainly have seen far worse visibilities than that. now, with that said, as the day progresses, we only rebounds to about 689. so it is a cool day. it is the coolest of the pack. thursday, though, that is the

water main break, clearing, third street closed between walnut and chestnut until 4:00 . until then take fifth or seventh street. >> one of the best athletes of all time in the spotlight. once again for the wrong reasons. >> pat gallen here with more on the arrest every tiger woods, pat, quite the news yesterday. >> no doubt about it, that mugshot, kind of hard to look at. well it, does continue to be a rough decade or so for the world former number one governor recent years, woods has had to deal with mere add of injuries, and deep dive into his personal life. now a dui arrest. >> tiger woods said alcohol was not behind his dui arrest early monday morning. instead the former number one golfer said he suffered an unexpected reaction to a mix of prescription medication. police in jupiter, florida say they pulled over woods around 3:00 monday morning near his home. the golfing great spent nearly four hours in the palm beach county jail before he was released. police did not release details of the arrest. but, arrest report could be released later today.

woods said in a statement he understands the severity of what he did and takes full responsibility for hissings. adding, quote, i would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends, and the fans, i expect more from myself too. >> he deserves to finish his career on a better note than appears to be happening right now. >> woods was once the worlds' greatest golfer, the winner of 14 majors, and 79 career victories on the pga tour. the 41 year old has been off the links for four months, and will be off the rest of the season as he recovers from his fourth back surgery. woods was in the headlines away from the golf course in 2,009 when he drove his suv into a tree during the thanksgiving holiday. allegations of extra marital affairs soon followed, and woods was divorce from the his wife in 2010. since then, his come back has fallen short. last major title was at the 2,008us open. america's read a marking professor at wharton thinks this arrest could be a turning point for tyinger.

i still call it prep good hair day. jim your hair looks lovely today. /with a walk out the door with a extra layer for sure, wind stays light, there are pros and cons to today. the whole reason that we do have clouds that we do have potential for showers stationary front that's stuck, not going anywhere, and there are pieces of energy that move along, that that's where the shower chances come f so, even though storm scan is still quiet at the moment, eventually may be few sprinkles out there, i think get away without an umbrella if you're not crazy about carting the extra gear today. i think you'll be okay, up ear's where we currently stand at the airport, wilmington, 59 the temperature in dover, and we do generally have on shore flow. southeast win flow, not what i call windy day at all, very light wind. but your flow coming on shore to help peak the clouds in place. limited sunshine for sure. but just watch out for these scattered showers, as the day progresses, and i'm thinking generally meisha the p.m. time frame where we will see the

most widespread activity on the radar, even then, scattered, is the key phrase there. >> yes, kind of phrase that we're using on the daily now. thanks so much, katie. good morning, everyone, welcome back -- 95 southbound, this is basically what you are working with, lot every brake lights going off right now. lot of people just hitting roadways right now. i'm saying the past ten minute or so. so just headed out the doorway i would say sooner rather than later might even want to tack on little extra time for those of you jumping onto 956789 looking at the vine, really just westbound side, head toward the schuylkill starting to get jam up little bit right now. the eastbound side, still slowing, still traveling at posted speeds, but you will slowly start to follow suit. like the westbound side, so if you have to head out to the vine give yourselves extra time. route 23, closed, between seven p.m. and 12:00 a.m. this will happen through friday. alternate, while that's going on, first avenue off ramp will be your best bet.

also, minor accident here, where a vehicle hit a tree. got downed pole. radnor. wheatly road, more to talk about when we come back in the next ten minutes, rahel, over to you. >> updating breaking news now in philadelphia's talcony section. police continue their search for two suspect wanted for shooting a 7-eleven clerk during robbery. this happened just after 4:00 a.m. on the 6900 block of torresdale avenue. police say clerk handed over money from one rest stege, the suspect apparently got angry when he couldn't open a second . that's when they shot him in the arm. thirds man who is being called person of interest was found in the nearby roof. police right now questioning that man. well, philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in kensington that left 14 year old dead and another teen wounded. officials say the boys shot around 9:30 last night 2,000 block of east orland street. we're told the surviving 16 year old now in stable condition. police say they're still trying to figure out motive for the shooting at last check no arrest haves been made. >> two other murders in kensington are under

investigation, 49 year old florence pompeii, and her 54 year old brother, raymond fin i, were found shot to death in their home on the 1900 block every clearfield street on sunday morning. both died of gunshot wounds to the head. there is no word on motive. their brother doesn't know why anyone would want to kill them. >> i don't know who did it or nothing. i don't. i wish i could tell somebody, you know, tell you all who did it, but i don't know. >> philadelphia police are asking anyone with information to give them a call. >> overseas now two car bombings have killed at least 25 people in baghdad early today and a wave of violence at the start of the muslim holy month of ramidan. one of the huge blasts was caught on security camera, you saw there, has claimed responsibility, for at least one of the explosion he is cents. now the month of ramidan often a time when violence pick up in that area. the attacks comes as islamic state millitant losing ground to us back iraqi forces. >> manuel nor august who once ruled panama with an iron fist has died, two months ago

underwent surgery to remove brain tumor, but suffered brain hemoraging during the operation. eighteen 80s forced many into exile, and american invasion ousted him in 1989. he later served 17 year drug sentence, manuel was 83. >> this morning, group of democratic state representatives are accusing a texas lawmaker of threatening to shoot a colleague. the alleged threat came a mid fiery protests at the state capitol monday over recently approved anti-sanctuary city's bill. >> the guy made comment, very stupid comment, he is a racist. he is a bad person. >> democratic texas state representative, alfonso, commenting on the tense moments that played out on the house floor at the state capitol monday. >> don't a lay people like that get away with comment like that, they think nothing will happen to them. >> referring to republican representative, matt rinaldo claimed called on protesters that he suspected were undocumented.
