5:15 am
specially tomorrow. more than anything, because you're just not going to see a lot of sunshine. we are, how much, breaking even, whether it comes to averages, for the month every june. so let's go back in time, talk very briefly about what happened in april. that will was a banner month. it was very warm one. warmest april we've ever recorded in fact since records began, all the way back in the 1800s in philadelphia, for may, though, we did -- it was minor, but key did evening out a below average month all-in-all. and then so far for the month of june, we are pretty much just steady, and we are, you know, very much just on par with where we should be. but, we will see that average drop off little bit here for the next two days. and eventually, we rebounds with a very significant warming trends, starting this weekend. now, looking at storm scan, locally, weaver some pretty heavy rain working its way through, i have yet to see any lightning strikes, regardless may get soaked if you are traveling part of the new jersey turnpike, northeast extension, with time more showers to dodge as the afternoon really the whole day progresses, but, this is the storm that's stuck overhead.
5:16 am
it is not going anywhere. at least not yet. with time, though, things do begin to clear out. oh, by thursday, so just give it time. for now, the visibilities are actually already improving even since last check, still down to 2 miles in trenton, you are up, how much, to 5 miles at philadelphia international airport. so not quite as harsh as it had been through the last couple of hours. but, with time, expect that there will still be showers around, i would definitely walk out the door with the umbrella, although not wash out today, it is going to be a day that features showers any time anywhere. cloudy still damp tonight down to 53 degrees, then moving forward, in the eyewitness weather seven day, yes, two cool days, we begin to rebounds thursday. back to seasonable warmth on friday, and look at this meisha. i know you love this. by the weekends not only clearing out for some sun, but about to get steamy. we flirt with 90 by monday. >> i see that. i'm lazer focus in the on that, katiement take a look at this, too, talking about the rain. montgomery county, 202, welsh rd., oh, like katie has been saying all morning bring that
5:17 am
umbrella i am brought into the studio this morning, i'm glad that i d you'll need it here, montgomery county by the way and, yes, really going to slow you down this morning, so just headed out the door, definately want to factor in wet roadways into your plans this morning, ben franklin bridge, in new jersey, headed over to the center city, pushing in the westbound direction, and you can just see misty, rain, wet roadways, damp, and you also have visibility issues. down, particularly, when we're pushing into the 6:00 hour, more and more vehicles start g then, the schuylkill, king of prussia, what we are looking at there. kind of hazy foggy shot there, as well. but you can see the light, the glow, from all of the headlight out there. so we are starting to pick up levels little bit on the schuylkill, it is going to be busy. that's going to be my prediction, accident here new jersey turnpike northbound past height town, only the shoulder squeezing by. so if you want to try avoid it altogether, your alternates route 130 or route one probably going to be your best bet there. also, some construction crews out there. take a look at this, for repairs unmeant fence here, fifth street tunnel closed
