to talk about. but getting kinds of used to there is the weather i hear. >> looking amazing, today should be real nice day. off to little cool start granted but really great night just waking up with us, maybe had your window crack overthrew the overnight, really comfortable sleeping weather if you had the window crack open it felt comfortable when low humidity. but storm scan is nice and tranquil. little vale of clouds working it way through part of delaware, out towards the west most counties, but we will eventually warm up in a very big way from these values. now, we still have about an hour before the sun does come up. temperatures likely still fall few more degrees, but once the sun comes up, looking ahead to beautiful sunrise, and a really nice afternoon. forty-nine in palmyra currently, yes, chilly, folks, quakertown only at 45 degrees, but time, we heat up in a very efficient way. look at this, by 3:00 p.m., in the sunshine, 83 degrees. just beautiful. finally feeling like summer, and even that, meisha, is a

smidge above average. so, let the heating begin, right? >> yes, almost perfect, i mean, for a lot of people that would feel perfect. all right, katie, thank you so much. that's what we want to hear on an early friday morning, looking outside dealing with the construction on the vine, so you can see the westbound and eastbound side still closed, usually crews moving out of the way closer to the 5:00 hour if not right at the 5:00 hour of course monitoring that, see when they move out of the way. burlington bristol bridge scheduled to open right about now. should be lifting. you can see clear shot letting us know it is really nice outside. blue route, construction northbound between norristown, mid-county, e-zpass express lanes closed at mid-county. getting used to the construction, i'll let you know when they clear out. and then some construction northeast construction between mid-county and lansdale, a lot more to come in about ten minute from the traffic department. rahel, back over to you. >> thank you, supposed to be just a warning, but traffic stop in north philadelphia ends in gunfire with the

suspect dead and the police officer taken off the streets. trang do live at the scene in feltonville, where investigators have a lot to sort out this morning. good morning, trang. >> well, good morning, jim, rahel. right now police have not yet released the name of the man killed, nor the police officer involved. that officer on administrative duty. they look into what commissioner ross is calling tragic loss of life. tensions ran high as family and friends after man shot and killed by a police officer gathered at the scene of the shooting near the intersection of whitaker and hunting park avenues. police commissioner richard ross says about 6:40 thursday night, 15th district officer was taking witnesses to the special victims unit when he saw a man on dirt bike riding irradically, then pulled the man over. >> the male starts to walk away from him. the officer in close proximity, he grabs toward his waist, feels a gun, and the

male's waist band, he presses again the gun, immediately draws his service weapon and tells that male not to pull t and he orders him not to pull it several times. >> witness says the man did not comply. >> according to the witness, that the officer told him don't pull it out. don't pull it out, because the officer clearly feel it is a gun, and it is a gun. and according to the witness the male did in fact break away from the officer and pull it out. and the officer immediately discharged. >> police say the officer continued to fire as the man ran away. hitting him at least once, possibly twice. he was pronounced dead at temple hospital short time later. woman who identified the man's grandmother was stunned. >> he didn't bother nobody. he didn't bother nobody. >> surveillance cameras on nearby bar captured part of it on camera as the man tried to run away. ross said what he saw was definitely concerning. >> being very candid, there is some video footage that shows

some things that gives us cause. right now we have a lot of work to do. >> now, police say they did recover the man's handgun here at the scene. right now, investigators are still looking for additional surveillance video to help them piece this altogether. also encourage any witness that is do have been driving in this area, the hunting park and whitaker avenues, to contact them with information. but for now, live in feltonville, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, trang. >> and staying now in north philadelphia, a man? critical condition this morning after fight ends in gunfire. >> chopper three was over the scene at 25th and lehigh avenue last night. it all started inside a corner take out store, just before 11:00. police say a group of people were arguing, when it turned violent. a fistfight broke out. spilling into the street. that's when someone pulled out a gun, and shot the 18 year old victim in the head. >> there was about seven or eight people inside the store, at the time, most of them were young adults, some male, some

female. you could clearly see them involved in a fight. but we don't know what the motive for the fight is at this time. >> now, detective are now checking surveillance cameras inside, and outside of that store. >> now, "eyewitness news" exclusive. the pennsylvania attorney general's office is investigating a bank fraud scheme. a wells fargo bank employee is facing charges for alleged identity theft and bank fraud. that employee is identified as asane denise east, employee of the wells fargo on adams avenue in philadelphia. she allegedly engaged in the scheme with other, depositing fraudulent checks, then withdrawing money. authority are searching for more suspect. >> philadelphia police are investigating the reported sexual assault of 16 yea 16 yead girl. she told police she was abducted before 7:00 last night at orthodox street and trenton avenue in frankford. the girl told officers that three men wearing ski masks forced her into a vehicle and sexually assaulted her, and then abandoned property, she

said she was able to escape and run to relative's home. so far, no arrest haves been made. >> it is day five of the bill cosby sexual assault trial. and today the prosecution will read more in cosby's deposition more than decade old. excerpts are expected to include an exchange where cosby acknowledges using quaaludes in his pursuit of women for sex. yesterday they red portions of the deposition where he admits giving pills to andrea constand and then fondling her. >> he has a pattern of behavior that is consistent throughout all of the 60 women. >> came here to hear it for myself, before anybody spins it, before anybody says anything else, i'm in the courtroom. nobody was there to see any of this happen. so it is all hearsay. >> cosby of course is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting constand at his montgomery county home at his home in january of 2004. he says the encounter was

concentual. >> former fbi director james comey says the russia investigation cost him his job. comey testified before the senate intelligence committee, told lawmakers the president pressured him to close an investigation into fired national security advisor michael flynn. then launch the campaign of lies to discredit him. >> i was fired in some way to change or the endeavor was to change the way the russia investigation was being conducted. that is a very big deal. the administration then chose to defame me and more importantly the fbi. those were lies, plane and simple. >> i gather from all of this that you're willing to say now that while you were director the president of the united state was not under investigation, is that a fair statement? >> that's correct. >> now, president trump's personal attorney, says the president feels vindicated by comey's testimony. >> mr. comey's testimony also makes clear that the president

today, wearing yellow, the sun coming out. >> i wanted to keep the vibes going from yesterday too. we like to coordinate. you know what, i'll just break it out. why not? and you're right, it goes with the forecast, we'll see lot of sunshine in the next couple of days. let's talk records, since you have heard the rumbling of some 90s in the forecast, yes, we come close to record highs. the number to beat for sunday through tuesday, is 95 degrees, each of those days. that's the daily record set in different years but still the number to beat all three days, but we'll come within couple of degrees of that forecast, of the record high for the couple of days here, so definitely very steamy. looking at storm scan at this wide zoom. we had storm system bypassing us to the east here yesterday. that is still out there. sitting back a little bit of cloud cover, little moisture, specially through up-state new york but we expect to say mainly dry today. the further north you go you may end up with spotty shower

election are having an effect on the stock market. what can you tell us about that? >> that is absolutely right, around the world, good morning, it sent the british pound into a skid. the pound lost close to 2% before a slight recovery. its biggest daily drop since january. british stocks also down yesterday, a mid questions on how britain will go forward with it plan to leave the european union. stocks today, however, opened a little bit higher. >> so i understand we have some tours talk about? >> i feel like every time i talk to you guys, new recall. hyundai recalling almost 600,000 vehicles in the u.s.,, to fix, larger, covers more than 437,000 sante fe and sante fe sport suv's. from 2013 to 2017. so very recent. the second recall of 161,000 cars involves parking brake light problems in genesis, and

it is very bright outside, even despite no sun. just yet. but the light of day is starting to be at least somewhat present, especially near the shore points, starting to see little light of day pop over the horizon, no sun yet, but give it time. and about oh, 35 minute or so, we will see the sunrise, what a sunrise i think it will be here. as we overlook at least part of the midwest and most of the northeast, we have a storm system pulling away, another front going to be eventually advancing, and that could help trigger few showers tomorrow morning, especially north of the city. but man this is looking like great beach weather. not just sunshine. so the water little cool. but you have very warm conditions on, up to 79 degrees, that uv index as you might imagine awfully high. take care. and latter up, and also, make sure, if you do take a dip you're doing so near the lifeguards, rip countries social security moderate. i want you to do that anyway even low risk you always want to swim near where someone is watching and making sure you'll stay safe.
