suspect dead and the police officer taken off the streets. trang do live at the scene in feltonville, where investigators have a lot to sort out this morning. good morning, trang. >> well, good morning, jim, rahel. right now police have not yet released the name of the man killed, nor the police officer involved. that officer on administrative duty. they look into what commissioner ross is calling tragic loss of life. tensions ran high as family and friends after man shot and killed by a police officer gathered at the scene of the shooting near the intersection of whitaker and hunting park avenues. police commissioner richard ross says about 6:40 thursday night, 15th district officer was taking witnesses to the special victims unit when he saw a man on dirt bike riding irradically, then pulled the man over. >> the male starts to walk away from him. the officer in close proximity, he grabs toward his waist, feels a gun, and the

male's waist band, he presses again the gun, immediately draws his service weapon and tells that male not to pull t and he orders him not to pull it several times. >> witness says the man did not comply. >> according to the witness, that the officer told him don't pull it out. don't pull it out, because the officer clearly feel it is a gun, and it is a gun. and according to the witness the male did in fact break away from the officer and pull it out. and the officer immediately discharged. >> police say the officer continued to fire as the man ran away. hitting him at least once, possibly twice. he was pronounced dead at temple hospital short time later. woman who identified the man's grandmother was stunned. >> he didn't bother nobody. he didn't bother nobody. >> surveillance cameras on nearby bar captured part of it on camera as the man tried to run away. ross said what he saw was definitely concerning. >> being very candid, there is some video footage that shows

some things that gives us cause. right now we have a lot of work to do. >> now, police say they did recover the man's handgun here at the scene. right now, investigators are still looking for additional surveillance video to help them piece this altogether. also encourage any witness that is do have been driving in this area, the hunting park and whitaker avenues, to contact them with information. but for now, live in feltonville, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, trang. >> and staying now in north philadelphia, a man? critical condition this morning after fight ends in gunfire. >> chopper three was over the scene at 25th and lehigh avenue last night. it all started inside a corner take out store, just before 11:00. police say a group of people were arguing, when it turned violent. a fistfight broke out. spilling into the street. that's when someone pulled out a gun, and shot the 18 year old victim in the head. >> there was about seven or eight people inside the store, at the time, most of them were young adults, some male, some

female. you could clearly see them involved in a fight. but we don't know what the motive for the fight is at this time. >> now, detective are now checking surveillance cameras inside, and outside of that store. >> now, "eyewitness news" exclusive. the pennsylvania attorney general's office is investigating a bank fraud scheme. a wells fargo bank employee is facing charges for alleged identity theft and bank fraud. that employee is identified as asane denise east, employee of the wells fargo on adams avenue in philadelphia. she allegedly engaged in the scheme with other, depositing fraudulent checks, then withdrawing money. authority are searching for more suspect. >> philadelphia police are investigating the reported sexual assault of 16 yea 16 yead girl. she told police she was abducted before 7:00 last night at orthodox street and trenton avenue in frankford. the girl told officers that three men wearing ski masks forced her into a vehicle and sexually assaulted her, and then abandoned property, she

said she was able to escape and run to relative's home. so far, no arrest haves been made. >> it is day five of the bill cosby sexual assault trial. and today the prosecution will read more in cosby's deposition more than decade old. excerpts are expected to include an exchange where cosby acknowledges using quaaludes in his pursuit of women for sex. yesterday they red portions of the deposition where he admits giving pills to andrea constand and then fondling her. >> he has a pattern of behavior that is consistent throughout all of the 60 women. >> came here to hear it for myself, before anybody spins it, before anybody says anything else, i'm in the courtroom. nobody was there to see any of this happen. so it is all hearsay. >> cosby of course is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting constand at his montgomery county home at his home in january of 2004. he says the encounter was

concentual. >> former fbi director james comey says the russia investigation cost him his job. comey testified before the senate intelligence committee, told lawmakers the president pressured him to close an investigation into fired national security advisor michael flynn. then launch the campaign of lies to discredit him. >> i was fired in some way to change or the endeavor was to change the way the russia investigation was being conducted. that is a very big deal. the administration then chose to defame me and more importantly the fbi. those were lies, plane and simple. >> i gather from all of this that you're willing to say now that while you were director the president of the united state was not under investigation, is that a fair statement? >> that's correct. >> now, president trump's personal attorney, says the president feels vindicated by comey's testimony. >> mr. comey's testimony also makes clear that the president
