one man expected to survive. investigators have not identified any suspect or motive. >> the philadelphia police officer involved in the deadly shooting of an armed dirt bike rider now on administrative leave during internal investigation. police say officer ryan, 12 year veteran of the force, shot and killed 30 year old david jones last thursday, on whitaker avenue in north philadelphia. police say jones was armed, and pulled a gun on the officer, after the officer started questioning him. investigators say officer shot jones as he was running away. >> ryan patrick mchugh faces homicide and dui charges after the car he was driving hit and killed a mother and injured her young son. investigators say mchugh was under the influence saturday night, when his car jumped a curb along aramingo avenue, killed rosa lydia rojas. rojas' nine year old son jaden is recovering from hip and leg injuries. her daughter, fortunately, was not injured. >> rosa lydia rojas as family and friends gathered last

>> i your hair is looking good. let me ask you a question, how can we make sure we're keeping cool? >> super important watch we really worry about during this time of heat illness, we're worried about heat exhaustion, heat stroke, couple every signs and symptoms i want to mention, heat exhaustion, oftentimes get a lot of sweating, we can feel light-headed but in terms of keeping cool, you make sure you're avoiding the sun at the hottest times of day, want to wear a hat, light colored, light weight clothing, make sure to take frequent breaks, drink plenty of water and voiding drinks that contain lots of caffeine or sugar, those drinks can make dehydration worse specially when trying to avoid key illness like heat exhaustion, heat stroke, what we are trying to avoid. >> obviously the people usually most affected when it is a hot day like today would be the young and the elderly. problems, who tend to be sick nerve general, also people who take certain medications cents, sometimes, if people

are on water pill can make them more de hydrated dollars or other heart or kidney medications so you just got to be extra careful. i always say the season to check on you're in or, okay? time to reach out. make sure your friends and family are doing okay. >> specially elderly folks. >> a lot of times they don't realize, you know, the victim of heat stroke. >> right. one thing that's important, air-conditioning, if you don't have it go to local mall, book store, stay inside, because that's really great protective factor. >> some people can't. they have to go outside because they work outside. what do those folks need to do? >> some of the topics that -- the item we talk about real importantment take frequent breaks. don't just go gunning hoe. take some frequent breaks. make sure you're drinking pretty of water, light colored clothing still applies, real important. and staying in the shade as much as you possibly k of course, don't forget your sunscreen, your hat, things like that. >> sunscreen very important.
