morning, the man was also shot in the leg. officials say about ten witnesses were near the victim at the time of the shooting. an elderly woman is targeted in broad daylight. police need your help finding her attacker. on june 1st, the 82-year-old woman being followed in mayfair, the suspect grabbed the parurse. the victim injured her elbow. if you have information police want to hear from you in atlantic city the search resumes for two missing swimmers, there's an reported missing while swimming near martin luther king boulevard. police, firefighters and the coast guard joined in the search. a judge scheduled to announce his verdict today in the trial of a massachusetts woman charged with encouraging her boyfriend to kill himself. michelle carter could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the 2014 suicide of 18-year-old conrad roy the third.

prosecutors say carter sent text messages to roy telling him to commit suicide. the verdict announcement is scheduled for 11:00 this morning. democrats and republicans come together to play in their annual congressional baseball game. meanwhile, congressman steve scalise is still in critical condition this morning after he was shot at a gop practice on wednesday, weijia jaing has more on the emotional event from washington. >> reporter: democrats 11, republicans two. but the winners of the annual congressional baseball game handed over the trophy as quickly as they received it. asking it be placed in representative steve scalise's office. >> we're brothers and sisters and trophy doesn't mean anything, our friendship does. >> reporter: scalise was one of four shot wednesday during practice for the game. doctors say he may need additional rounds of surgery, his condition has improved over the last 24 hours. back at the game, special agent

this is cbs "eyewitness news." i'm jan carabao. >> here's what you need to know to start your day, today, june 16 and, 2017. the jury will try again to reach a verdict in the bill cosby sexual assault trial. at around the 30 hour mark they returned to tell the judge they were deadlocked. waiting outside the courthouse though, the atmosphere waffled between boredom and chaos. >> in atlantic city. the search resumes for two missing swimmers. the teens were reported missing around 6:30 last night. republicans and democrats come together for their annual charity baseball game one day after a gunman opened fire >> this just the beginning. this is family really.

however long they wish to deliberate. >> if after further deliberations they still cannot reach concensus, a hung jury will cause the judge to declare a mistrial. nationwide manhunt new images have been released of thursday's capture of two georgia inmates, after allegedly killing two prison guards. >> reporter: these images show donnie row and ricky dubose moments after the capture in tennessee >> these are cold blooded murderers. and we did what it took to bring them into custody. >> the georgia bureau of investigation said the convicted armed robbers escaped from this prison bus tuesday by breaking through the secure area in the back and killing two corrections officers in the front. sergeants christopher monica and curtis blue, the inmates escaped set off a nationwide manhunt. they say the men stole several cars in georgia and tennessee, and ended up in shelbyville

where they invaded the home of an elderly couple thursday >> i told them exactly who they are and we said we don't care because we'll be dead within 24 hour, the couple told authorities the men held didn'ts to their head, tied them up with belt and ate their dinner, the couple was able to free themselves and reported the crime >> they realize they're very lucky to be alive >> the deputies chased the suspect, the two men crashed a jeep, exchanged fire and ran to another home where they tried to steal another car, but this homeowner was ready and held the two fugitives at gunpoint until police arrived. >> i saw it on the news, i didn't really think they'd make it this far. >> the fugitives will face state and federal charges. cbs "eyewitness news." the pilot of a blimp flying every the u.s. open was seriously injured after the aircraft crashed yesterday afternoon, the pilot was the only person on board.

he was air lifted to a hospital. no word on his condition this morning. sheriffs officers in wisconsin say the blimp was on fire, a landscaper working was watching the blimp and witnessed the crash. >> started blowing to the north and deflating, and next thing we know we heard it kind of struggling motor kicking on trying to, we just thought it was trying to land really, and next thing we know, there's couple booms in the tree line, and it went down, and blew up. just incredible first responders arrived quickly on the scene because they were at aaron hills golf course for the tournament. authorities in london have opened a criminal investigation into the deadly high-rise inferno that killed at least 17, the 24 building caught fire tuesday trapping people in their apartments. while a group is saying they complained for years about the rick of a fire in the building, which is owned by the local

government. crews are working to shore up the building and officials say they could find more victims. we have new video now of queen elizabeth and prince william arriving to visit the area around r within the hour, local time it is about 11:38 in the morning. the royal family is meeting with volunteers as well as displaced residents, many of whom are still missing loved ones. british singer adele also visited the place of the disaster around midnight local time. according to eyewitnesses, adele was hugging and comforting people who were also there to pay respects. back here at home. jury selection begins monday for the federal corruption trial of district attorney seth williams. williams is also accused of accepting bribes from two businessmen to help friends of theirs who were charged with crimes. he has denied wrongdoing. comedy central's daily show is paying tribute to president trump and his love affair with

ambler, you can come down and make great evening. go catch a movie. go see a play. of go have a great dinner somewhere including here. and it's just a beautiful town, great walking town >> seems like for food purposes it sort of exploded in recent years >> i feel like it's become the medic ka when it comes to small towns, we have great sandwiches and soupscca when it comes to s towns, we have great sandwiches and soups you could come to ambler and fulfill your needs >> what's your background as far as baking is concerned >> i started baking with my grandmom around the age of five. alice, which i named the bakery after. always had a love and passion. always wanted to open up a bakery. open my first location in north wales in 2010. opened up this location in june of 2015 this day two years ago.
