tonight at 11:00 at lee a thousand gallons of raw sewage spills in the south jersey waterway, and how it happened, and what people are being told , about their waterways. and breaking news tonight, more horror in london, another vehicle slams into the pedestrians, in a northern part of the city, several are dead and now police are working to determine, if this is, a terrorist act. we do know that multiple pedestrians are dead after a van strikes and kills worshipers, leaving a mosque in the air use. good evening i'm joe holden. the muslim council confirmed several worshipers at the park months were being hit just after midnight local time. police report that one person has been arrested, and again, there are multiple fatalities. a woman who lives close to

alycia nieves with the very latest. >> reporter: quiet outside chews landing pumping station in gloucester township but around 3:00 in the afternoon there was a hazmat situation here. a power outage in the area caused the pumping station to lose power and spill sewage. county reported at least a thousand gallon of sewage leaked in the nearby creek. that sewage spilled over a two hour period until the crew could get to the pumping station and power the pumps with a generator. residents in the area received robo calls from camden count inn municipal utility authority telling them about the situation and warning them not to swim or fish in the water. there was no impact, tap water in the area as the creek is not a source of drinking water power has been restored to the pumping station and everything is, back to normal at this hour. but, tomorrow somebody with the new jersey environmental protection agency, will be back out here to check on the water. in gloucester township alycia nieves for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> well, it has been a muggy

few days in the philadelphia area and now we are watching, storm scan three as rain, head our way. meteorologist chelsea ingram in the weather center keeping us posted on what is in store for us, chelsea. >> reporter: that is right, joe. >> we have rain heading our way, for tomorrow afternoon and evening here's a live look at storm scan three. quiet around the delaware valley. we have a couple showers and storms moving up in the poconos but it will be a relatively quiet night for us right here in philadelphia during overnight hours. that changes heading in to tomorrow, look at this cold front that is swinging on through and it will bring us some strong potentially to severe thunderstorms as we head in the afternoon and evening. some of those thunderstorms could produce torrential downpours, that is why we have a flash flood watch in effect for areas highlighted in green , this actually goes into effect at noon time tomorrow. so here's what you can expect, we are watching for strong storms, over a widespread one to 2 inches on have rain, possible, locally higher amounts and then some damaging wind, we will talk about when the rain arrives and how much we can expect in our neighborhood coming up in a

bit, joe. >> chelsea, thank you. developing tonight an 11 year-old girl from newark, new jersey has died after being electrocuted saturday evening in toms river. police say there the girl and two friend, were using an inflatable raft in a lagoon behind a home in the area when two of the girls touched a metal boat lift causing area around that inflatable to become charged. the one year-old died, the two other children were not hurt. and gunfire in center city overnight and two people, were wounded. this happened near seventh and arch street, around 2:30 this morning, and investigators say a 29 year-old man was killed in this, after he was shot in the face and torso. police say that a second victim drove himself to a wilmington delaware hospital, he is expect to survive, the search for the shooter, still continues. and another shoot to go tell but, this one happened in an hour earlier, two and a half miles away there north philadelphia investigators say a man in his 20's was shot three times in the legs this

happened near intersection of the north sixth street and west cumberland streets. that victim is recovering at temple university hospital, and police haven't said if an arrest has been made. police are trying to determine the identity of a man, crews pulled from the schuylkill river. officers were called when someone spotted a body in the water near market street, and there is no word yet on how the man died. in less than 12 hours, seth williams federal corruption trial gets underway , and the philadelphia district attorney is under indictment slapped with more than two dozen bribery and fraud charges in alleged pay to play scheme. this selection process will pull jurors from counties all over the eastern area of pennsylvania. the d.a. and his lawyer, have maintained there is nothing criminal about relationships between the city's chief law enforcement officer and other business associates. >> he is being charged with having traded on, traded on the power of his office in exchange for gifts.

it cannot be under estimated how serious the breach of ethics is, and how serious the charges are against him. >> judge paul diamond has kept the case to a tight time line saying that a quick resolution is in the public's best interests: cbs-3 will be at the courthouse as jury selection begins, and that is set for 9:30 in the morning. more than 60 people were killed, and many in their cars after trying to escape, a raging forest fire in central portugal. the fires broke out over weekend during a severe heat wave. jonathan vigliotti has more from london. >> reporter: portugal's secretary of state has called it deadliest forest fire in the nation's history. many of the victims, were found, in their cars, apparently, trapped, by strong wind, blew flames over a busy motor way. the fire began saturday in the mountainous area, the region has been in the middle of an intense heat wave, accompanied by rain, and thunderstorms. it is a deadly combination.

police believe that the fire was sparked, after lightening struck a tree, and the flames that quickly spread, in the dry conditions, and burned through several neighborhoods destroyed homes. hundreds of local residents were treated for smoke inhalation and emergency services tents, set up in the area. many, who lost their homes were then transferred to temporary shelters. this afternoon the fire was still raging on four front with over 700 fire fighters, deployed to battle the flames. the portuguese government has also dispatched two army battalions to assist emergency services while spain has sent two water bombing planes to help its neighbor contain the fire. portugal now has declared, three days of a national mourning to pay tribute to the victims. jonathan vigliotti for cbs news, london. a u.s. fighter jet shot down a syrian plane after it dropped, bombs on coalition backed fighters, the missiles strike are the first reported

sumbul. victim of crime photo out of arkansas is changing the life of a pregnant mother and her two year arrested daughter. at picture that shows a tough reality in little rock. show as pregnant mom due at any moment sleeping on the sidewalk with her 2-year-old daughter laying on her chest. north little rock officer said he felt he had to help. he took jessica and kayla to a hotel and shared his heartbreaking story on his instagram account. >> it's amazing how many people stepped up to make a difference and really changed this family's life. hopefully now this family realizes people all over the world love him >> after the post went set up a, the support started rolling in. people are sending food and items for this family of three.

shore, 70's right now, at 75 in wildwood, it is 76 in atlantic city. 78 in millville. 81 in wilmington. a live look at stormscan 3, shows it's not really much going on in the delaware valley. you look towards the poconos, a couple of showers moving through. things will be quiet through the delaware valley. southern new jersey, down the shore as we head to the overnight hours tonight. but all bets are off by tomorrow, because of this cold front located out to our west draped from the great lakes down to ohio, that's going to be pushing from west to east, as we head to tomorrow in and the storms are going to be moving in from west to east tomorrow afternoon and evening. some of them could bring severe weather and that's why the storm prediction summer has beige or brown color in the greater philadelphia area under that enhanced risk for severe weather as we head to tomorrow afternoon and evening. so the high threat, that's torrential downpours we could

get heavy rain with some of these storms because we have so much moisture if the air. we could have strong to damaging winds as well as lightening, there is moderate risk for some isolated large hail, a tornado risk is low. but can't be ruled out. as we head to tomorrow afternoon and evening, so definitely we'll be watching radar closely. here's how things play out on the future weather. overnight things are quiet dealing with partly cloudy skies, likely see a little bit of sunshine when we wake up. at least a mix of sun and clouds. as we head to the afternoon it changes in the poconos, to reading, lancaster pushing through from west to east, making into center city as we head to the dinner hour, and then particular there, they move down the shore and eventually by about 10:00, 11:00, things begin to quiet down. but not without leaving quite a bit of rain behind, along the

i95 corridor points west we could see anywhere from one to two inches of rainfall, a little bit less to the east. flooding will be a possibility. a flash flood wash issued goes into effect starting at noon on monday. so overnight in you're a hitting the road looks fine. to the morning, a little bit of sunshine, morning commute looks aok, then strong showers and thunderstorms developing keep in mind when you leave to go from work. partly cloudy, muggy and warm, look for an overnight temperature around 73 as we head to tomorrow, strong showers and storms developing with a high of 87 and down the shore, we're talking about a high temperature right around 83 should stay dry most of the day but changes by the evening, we'll see those developing and pushing through from west to east. finally get a break from this humidity that has been gripping
