so far so good. few maps to look at though. i-95 southbound approaching delaware state line. blocked because of accident. also pa turnpike some stuff between valley forge and norristown, left lane blocked there due to construction. out on route 30 bypass out there in both directions between route 82 and reeceville overnight ramp closures will be knocked out by about 5 a.m. in the next 30 minute or so and regional rail stuff, septa.org and keep an eye on all that. jim back to you. >> new this morning, police are investigating a deadly shooting in west philadelphia and it happened before 3:00 on north udal street near 54 and market. the victim, under ahouse arrest. was sitting on front porch of his home when shot multiple times. so far police made no arrests. >> one person is dead and ten others hurt this morning after a van slams into a card near a

london mosque. it has the hall parking of fer ror attack. a live look at the scene where police arrested one suspect before 12:30 a.m. london time. the van plowed into worshipers leaving a mosque after prayer prayers. witnesses described the chaotic scene as they tried to help one of the victims. >> we tried to help and it turned left with no indication and no, like suddenly. >> the 48-year-old suspected driver of the van has not yet been identified by authorit authorities. this incident comes weeks after the london bridge and burrow market attacks. stay with eyewitness news for the latest all morning long. we'll have a live report in a half hour and you can get the latest developments online at cbsphilly.com. >> back at home, seth williams getting his day in court. philadelphia district attorney going on trial for corruption charges.

assistant reporter is live in front of center city where jury selection belongs this morning. >> good morning, trang. >> good morning, jury selection could go quickly in this case, there's a larger youry poll in this case. the jury will be chosen from a in my opinion country area in pennsylvania including as far as away as lancaster county, the judge in the case promised a speedy trial to possibly hear on oweening arguments today. district attorney seth williams faces 29 counts of corruption and bribery charges accused of accepting tens of thousands in bribes from two different business owners in exchange for legal favors. prosecutors say those gifts included all inclusive vacation for the dominican rep and jaguar. williams is charged with defrauding nursing home and elderly mother of money set aside for her care. and he has denied any wrong doing but an attorney following the case says damage to williams' reputation has

counsel illman oh has a preliminary nary hearing. shawn yourpray stabbed him in a boched robbery attempt. he demanded yo's car keys and then stabbed him. charges include attempted murder and robbery. he denies the aels and councilman oh went back to work a couple days later. >> the judge that pro sided over bill cosby dril could reveal the names of the jurors today. steven o'neal declared a mistrial after jurors told him they were hopelessly dead locked. he drugged and violated andrea con jan stand and he said it was consensual. >> department of environmental connection will be back big timber creek after a outage causes thousands of gallons of sewage to spill ou

out. sewage was spilling into big timber creek owe two hours before ow power was restored. they are warning resident not to swim or fish in that water. >> a young girl was electro cuteed while swimming. she was visiting friends in toms river saturday night. she and two others were using inmates fromable rafts when two touched a boat lift. the area around the raft became charged. she was electro cuteed and okay tied at a hospital. >> she was too young and my heart goes out to her hospita hospital. takes sin. it's just a lessen you cannot fool around with anything by the water. >> the other two children are not hurt. adults were watching them at the time of the accident and all three of the children were wearing life jackets. >> u.s. navy is promising a full investigation of the collision of destroyer and container ship off the japanese coast. saturday the uss fitzgerald

primarily rain. we have a couple of thunderstorms. wow is to look super, super closely and there's lightning strikes showing up across new york and pa border. with time we will see a very, very potent line form here and the timing is not on our side. now, morning drive looks fine. i don't think we have to deal with anything other than steamy conditions. and but, we're talking about pretty heavy duty thunderstorms here just in time for the typical evening rush over the city. it's mainly about 7 p.m. give or take that the really strong storms will come through. primary threats shaded in red here. down powers and strong winds freak wept lightning. if you hear thunder you're within reach to get struck by lightning. headed in. this will feel like a great pool day. don't chance it if you hear thunder. these storms mean business today. hail is at moderate risk and it's low for tore madeic activity. it's a chance. stick with us through the second half of day toward the evening. lauren will have hands full

>> happy monday. welcome back. today will be a day featuring strong thunderstorms. not for the morning drive. up until lunchtime we should stay dry. that's a relative term though. it's already steamy outside and that's the building case for severe heavy rain as the day progresses, you can see the leading edge of it. looks like it's just next door, right, this will take a little time to actually work its way through. not until we hit say early afternoon. even the furthest morning west suburbs starts to see the storms move in. as of noon noontime the flash flood watch comes in. not including south eastern new jersey and the entire region of i-95 and vicinity and off to the norm and west for lehigh valley are included and in that flash flood watch. let's talk about how it all times out. generally between 1 and 3:00 mountainous terrain fires up. pa suburb herbs just outside

of philly north west it's generally right around the typical evening rush. this will get you. i'm tling you. these storms look so heavy and the strongest storms likely come in between 7 and 8:00 in center city and pass the bottom line if you hear thunder head inside today. we advice that any sdwrn way as a general rule of thumb. these storms mean business here this afternoon and evening. >> pm rush will not be fun so far this morning though not bad katie. good morning, everyone, this is a look. if you can see through the trees you see flashing lights up here. this is an accident pushed off to the side near delaware state line. there is an accident. people tapping brakes going slower through here and not causing major delays. southbound 95 delaware state line use precaution going through there. this is schuylkill belmont. no delays here. not really delays on any majors thus far this morning. as you know on monday that should change by 6 a.m. accuweather expressway westbound before route 40 overturned vehicle. no delays yet in this area and again take precaulks moving
