anticipate that had they would , at lee they are gone at this point but looking at storm scan, even in the last three hour loop you can see departure at this point. it is still so muggy outside, but generally clearing out nicely other than a little bit of cloud in handful of spots we are looking at a nice looking morning, all and all. area temperatures are very different, depending where you are, it is mount poke know is below 50 degrees. because cooler air is moving in for you but most every where else we are at minimum, in the 60's, and a lot of spots are still cracked at 70 degrees. we have an hour before the sun comes up and will drop a degree or two in fill a before the sunrisees but with that said a mild start to the morning, a seasonal start to the morning, that said too and we're off to the races on the thermometer for yet another day here. we expect to easily spike to 90 degrees. it will begin to feel more steamy, i don't expect wet weather today, however so you will not to have keep your ears perked this time around.

great beach day and pool day and keep in mind that humidity is beginning to spike on us, yeah, you will be, very tempt todd take a dip here today. so pat, latter on the sun block it is looking like a good one. >> it will be that kind of day busy day too, this is a lot a fatal accident unfortunately on route 55 in new jersey, and route 40 franklin township overturn tractor trailer plus a pickup truck that caught on fire this happened right around 3:00 a.m. causing backups in, that area of franklin township. more video those trees because of the storms yesterday, this is roosevelt boulevard at rhawn street. just south of the rhawn street , southbound inner lanes , one lane is closed, because of the trees just basically hanging over the roadway, so, those storms, got a little bit nasty yesterday and they hit across the area and one of the places was right here on the boulevard. also, as we get to our cameras route 202 northbound at route one baltimore pike right lane is block, here, and on main

street, in lower southford there is an accident a car hit a pole and that is closed for the morning rush, between mapel avenue and harleysville pike, the alternate right there is oak drive, so that will slow you down as the morning rush progresses, and then one more just outside our building right here at 16th and spring garden, there is an accident we will get details on that as well but it is a busy morning, guys, there is so much happening across the delaware valley we will get to more in about 10 minutes or so , rahel, back to you. >> sound like you have your hand full, thank you. clean up continues for many in our area after a fierce storm rolled through the region. storm up routed this large tree, large tree there that is crushing a car in the 1100 block of windrum avenue in philadelphia's logan section. luckily no one was inside the car but someone was inside this home, when a tree fell near rhawn and the boulevard in the north east. >> i pulled in, my son was inside sleeping. >> is his bedroom right around there. >> that is the bedroom right

there. >> reporter: tree branch just missed bedroom window. many residents who power this morning, nearly 2,000 homes remain in the dark. a search for missing swim inner hamilton township mercer county will resume this morning as a recovery operation. search for 17 year-old boy was called off around 11:00 or 9:00 last night i should say. police say he and another teen were swept away yesterday afternoon while swimming in a marshy avenue, marshy avenue, excuse me, westscott avenue this tried to grab him but, it dips, and it is just too strong and took him away from my hand. he went down. kept going under. and he went down, and came backup for air. then we went around the corner i who the sight of him. >> multiple new jersey law enforcement agencies including the state police are assisting in the search efforts. philadelphia district attorney seth williams is federal corruption trial continues into its third day this morning.

yesterday, testimony focused on williams alleged spending habits. the manager at the union league was called to the stand as a prosecution witness, testifying that williams spent thousands of dollars on fine dining there. employees at nursing home where his mother lives also testified that williams dodged bills and called for payment. williams denies any wrongdoing despite opposition from both side, the judge in the bill cosby trial has released names of the jurors. the announcement came as a shock yesterday, judge stephen o'neill granted a motion to make names of the 12 jurors and six alternates public. group from allegheny county deliberated for more than 50 hours last week, a mistrial was declared on saturday, we spoke with one juror expert rat shore says that the reveal only makes cosby retrial harder. >> why would you want to participate, right, i mean who wants to be bombarded. there is certainly or some people i think that would,

that like the attention but there is also a portion and a larger portion that would prefer that their names never became public. >> according to an abc report, two jurors were hold outs, preventing cosby from being found guilty on sexual assault philadelphia police are reviewing procedures after the accident release of a release from cure ran fromhold prison. a paper mix up led to the a release of attempted sexual salt suspect russell bryant. bryant, was at the precinct to be arraigned for another crime , and a theft, but after he was arraigned he was released on only the other charges. >> this should not happen in the perfect world so we have to figure out how we close this up to make sure that this does not happen. thankfully there were no catastrophic, consequences to this. >> and brian was rhea rested when he showed up at drexel university police to speak with him about his theft case. a huge fire in burlington

county brought down a large response from local fire fighters. chopper three over route 206 in springfield township where the fire broke out at allied recycling center at 7:00 last night. dozens of cars and other items were engulfed in flames, the cause of the fire is under investigation. rider university's plan to sell its music cleaning to another institution is facing a legal challenge. supporters of the west minister choir college of filed suit against rider claiming any sale that would close the school or move its campus from princeton is illegal, and they say that it violates a merger agreement from 1991. rider announced plans to sell the school last march because it did not fit into rider's long term strategic plan. well, it is officially summer and schools across the city are about to open for start of the season. some pools will open today, all by july 1st. city has three indoor pools and zero seven outdoor won. swim lessons and activities are also expected to kick off, to check to see what days and times the pool near you, they

back on "eyewitness news", the fbi is investigating the stabbing of a police officer at an airport in flint, michigan as an act of terrorism. police raided the suspect's apartment in montreal quebec yesterday. the accused attacker, is a canadian citizen who legally entered the u.s. he will reportedly shouted god is great and stabbed a lieutenant in the neck. >> he made a statement to the fact that you have killed people in seer, yeah iraq,

afghanistan and we are all going to die. >> and fbi says that there is no information suggesting that stabbing was part of the wider terrorism plot. the officer meanwhile remains hospitalized in stable condition. a public funeral services for otto warmbier will take place in his hometown of wyoming, ohio today. warmbier died mondays after being released from a nearly year and a half long detain ment in north korea his family declined an autopsy so his cause of death remains a mystery. services will be held at wyoming high school, warmbier alma matter, ohio senator who helped get him released is expected to be in attendance. millions of people along the gulf coast are bracing for more rough wet they are morning as tropical storm cindy inches closer to land. cindy began making her presence felt yesterday bringing high wind, rain and flood to go parts of the region. one death already being blamed on the storm. officials say that a 10 year-old boy on an alabama beach was struck and killed by

out to the damage reports here left behind by storm cells that did erupt across the region. take a look, this is not necessarily an exhaustive list but it certainly is a good idea of what happened and it spans the region there was a tree down, tractor trailer, loss offer trees and wires down and that is sort of the story as those storm cells migrated east in new jersey, pennsylvania, and delaware certainly saw their fair share of stormy weather as well. we are in the clear. we can take a deep press. it is not the most refreshing air mass but we can still take a deep breath and not worry about wet weather out there today, like what is left of that trough that dug in here as a handful of cloud that will continue to stay clear throughout the rest of the day let's talk cindy as we head back. are we go to go see any impact from his this? i still don't think so. we are going to have a frontal passage we can see beginning of that across northern high plains in the great lakes but this is still expected to make that right-hand turn, even though we will get some of the moisture drawn in here, it will not turn into, major heavy downpours like they are

some northbound construction, hopefully that will get out of here by the morning rush. it should. vine street expressway is wide opened, no construction to speak of but it is coming back , next week, monday night, overnight, through thursday night overnight. so, those overnight schedules, 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. is when this happens on the vine street expressway so keep an eye on. that this is that fatal accident we told but earlier this morning, route 55 northbound in new jersey, it is closed near route 40. alternate is delsea drive, tractor trailer and car colliding and one fatality, that happened right around 3:00 a.m., also, on the roosevelt boulevard, southbound, inner lanes near rhawn street have had some trees hanging over one side of the roadway, so they close that had one lane, and just make note of that it is not causing any slow downs, just yet but it will in the next half an hour or so. main street lower southford we have got an accident as well, mapel avenue at harleysville pike use oak drive to get around this one. also route 130 in new jersey, this could be, because of down

trees, jug handle closed at dunns mill road so they are trying to fix that up before the morning rush, guys, back over to you. well, people scrambled to check on loved won in california when word spread that the 6.8 magnitude earthquake there. >> it turns out everyone was okay because there was no earthquake. u.s. geological survey sent out a mass e-mail about the alleged earthquake, e-mail said it happened yesterday afternoon near santa barbara but geological surveys says the computer confused an earthquake from 1925 as a current event, and the e-mail triggered automatic warnings from news outlets on twitter, including from the los angeles times. still ahead on "eyewitness news", we all know potholes air anything, right? but usually you can drive around them. we will take to you a city where the road so covered in potholes some drivers prefer to ride on the sidewalk. we will be right

>> house in italy. >> gorgeous. >> all right. >> a billion dollars. >> we could go on and on. >> we don't have time. >> yes, thank you. well, how about this one if you thought the streets in philly were bad a road in ohio is so riddled with potholes, some drivers feel safe, get this, riding on the sidewalks there. take a look at these massive potholes on terrace road in east cleveland, crazy, you can see this car riding down the road taking a beating as it encountered crater after crater, residents say the road has been in the condition for the past few years. >> it is like a maze, and they don't -- they broke down a couple cars already. >> i feel like nobody cares. i think we know every community just learned to live witt, we just gave up. >> back in april, the silt i services department released a long list of streets to be cold patched, following the winter, terrace road is, on that list, so here's hoping they get it done this year.
