minutes, jim, back over to you we have a father and son taking matters in their own hand and take down a murder suspect this began when the officers on patrol near fifth and spencer heard an argument and gunshot. when they investigated they saw a shooting victim and two men running from the scene. one of the men was armed, but explain to the officers that he was an eyewitness to the shooting. he told the officers where the suspect was hiding. >> police chase that had male, forced his way in the rear door of the property that is when the home owner and home owner's adult son got in the physical, confrontation with this male, who was running from police. >> the home owner and son managed to wrestle the gun from the suspect and waited for police to arrive. we will have much more on this story in a live report at 5:00 . meanwhile in north philadelphia search is on for shoot shore killed a man execution style, and, this happened around 7:30 last

night on the 1700 block of north sixth street. according to eyewitnesses 31 year-old victim was talking to friend when the shooter walked up and then shot him in the head. victim was shot several more times before the shooter walked away. family and friend hold a vigil in memory of the woman stabbed to death in the park behind a north philadelphia high school. >> are you with me. >> yes. >> vigil for deborah gulliver was held behind dobbins high school last night, the three three-year old victim was murdered early saturday morning. she took a short cut home to ray burn park when police say she was fatally stabbed 12 times some who spoke at the vigil called for justice for gulliver. >> this is somebody's daughter , somebody's friend, somebody's aunt, that was just viciously murdered in this park and somebody knows something. >> gulliver's body was found around 3:00 in the morning on saturday, 30 minutes after she entered the park.

police are still searching for her killer. a $20,000 reward is offered in exchange for information leading to an arrest. video is stunning, this u-haul truck narrowly misses a woman coming smashing through a restaurant in northern liberties. closer look now, woman jumped out of her seat when truck crashed in the restaurant there. this all happened yesterday while having lunch at urban village brewing company in northern liberties, we spoke to that woman who says it is still hard to believe. >> it is just, unreal, it felt like a movie, that was just, a bad movie. >> now authorities say the driver was going the wrong way , after the crash, cell even if video shows the driver getting out of the truck and running away, he was later arrested and charged with dui, restaurant was opened for business last night. meantime good news about a two-year old boy run over by a farm tractor in burlington county. chopper three over the 300 block of landing street in lumberton just before 6:00 last night. paramedics flew the child to a

local hospital but we have learned his injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery. police are investigating two house fires across the street from each other in port richmond. the fire broke out on the 3,000 block of the street just before 4:00 yesterday afternoon. dozens of fire fighters responded and had fires under control in a half an hour there was no one inside of the homes at the time and there were no reported injuries and investigators say there was also a fire on that same block , earlier that month. a former bucks county football coach is behind bars, this morning after police say he sexually assaulted children from bensalem. shannon west moreland coached foot balance for the athletic association between 1999 and 2005. during that time he ace cues of assaulting three children. authorities say there is nothing specific that points to more victims but a full investigation is underway. >> these types of cases take on a pattern, and we are just concerned that the pattern may have repeated itself in this

instance. >> west moreland's bail is set at $300,000, authorities are urging parents of football players and cheerleaders, to talk with their children. well, testimony continues today in the federal corruption trial of the philadelphia d.a. seth williams, liset gonzales seen here with our joe holden was executive director for williams political action committee friend offset williams. she testified yesterday that she felt uncomfortable with williams spending habits at the union league, including a 2,600-dollar birthday party for williams girlfriend. williams defense attorney argued his expenses were legitimate. protesters marched the city hall to demonstrate against police, chopper three was overhead as the rally and march for police abolition made its way down toward broad street. black lives matter gathered at municipal services building on jfk boulevard around 5:30 last night. group of 125 protesters blocked traffic there, while holding signs and chanting, the demonstration lasted two

hearst. well, pennsylvania state senate has advanced a bill that would allow school employees to have guns on campus. employees would be required to have a concealed carry license , and pass a psychological evaluation and meet certain firearms training requirements. bill still requires approval in the house, governor wolf says he opposes the measure. governor wolf also signed new legislation, yesterday, aimed at protecting animals from cruelty and neglect. in bipartisan bill called libr e's law, who was on hand for the signing, he was, severely abused and found as a puppy bye was nursed back to health. bill allows cases of animal abuse to rise to the level of a felony and calls for civil immunity for vets and humane society office hours are reporting cruelty cases. well, just ahead on the fourth of july holiday new jersey governor chris christie signed a bill legalizing sale of the certain fire works in the state. new allow allows people 16 and old tore buy hand held and
