rolling through ocean, monmouth county in the last few hours but quiet start to the day but if you have to step outside and you are sitting in your air conditioned home and comfortable at the moment just you wait. here's what currently feels like and folks, that sun has been up for almost 14 minutes or something like that. it is a warm start to the day. eighty-two is how it currently feels. we're in the upper 70's and 76 for heat index at millville a spot that spiked because we had sunshine yesterday in terms of the heat index but throughout the day, in philadelphia we will hit 92 degrees to day certainly above average but only by handful of degrees. in the like we are not used to the heat. factor in the heat. dew points will in the drop below zero seven's and that means it will feel closer around the board are of 100 degrees in the city to day down short we have hot, steamy conditions too. i think you'll stay dry at the beaches but in the mountains and certainly in the city, it is a possibility we will see showers and thunderstorms firing up this afternoon and

and killed in a drive by shooting in the fair hill section of the city. take a lou can see what the scene looked like overnight as police continue to investigate , gunfire erupted on 39,000 block of north lawrence street just after midnight when police, medics arrived they have discover that red pickup truck parked and still running, inside 28 year-old shot dead in the driver's seat 19 year-old shot dead in the passenger seat they were shot multiple times in the head and body. at this point it appears that the shooter or shooters, fired in the passenger side striking the victim. police are interviewing eyewitnesses as they try to determine the exact number of shooters and attempt to track down the suspect. >> some witnesses say, both shooters were in the vehicle whole they fired shots so possibly a drive by this he were last seen in the vehicle, it was going south on the 3,000 block of lawrence street >> unfortunately police don't

family of the man police are calling a person of interest in the disappearance of the four young men who went missing last week. the search bringing together resources from several local departments, state police and the fbi. >> we're using, anything from major construction equipment, all the way down to the finest shifting equipment that you can imagine because some of it is just heavy, bulky work, construction work and others we want to be careful not to miss most tiny piece of evidence. >> reporter: bucks county district attorney matt wine taubb is not revealing what led police to the, family farm sunday night where a person of interest cosmo dinardo. >> there is informative that i cannot share with you. i want to be careful to stress that he is a person of interest and hat not been charged or arrested with respect to any of the missing four young men at this time. >> reporter: jimmy patrick went missing on wednesday. dean fan char owe, tom meo and mark sturgis has in the been

seen since friday. investigators suspect, foul play. family and friend keeping vigil on the end of the farm, waiting for answers. >> we're scared. we want to know something. because we're all, we're all stunned we just don't know. >> last night we did reach out to the dinardo's attorney thomas parlow and he confirmed he is still representing him but had no further comment. sources tell us that the dinardo family has reached out to prominent criminal defense attorney fortune perry for representation. we are live from solebury township i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". jim and rahel back to you. as the search for those missing men, continues in bucks county we are learning more about that person of interest. police say only person of ninth this case is cosmo dinardo, he was released around 7:00 on 10 percent of one million-dollar bail. he was being held on a firearms charge unrelated this case.

cbs-3 spoke with the friend who asked to remain anonymous but did so quote i'll tell you he watts normal up until last year when he was in the quad accident, hit his head and stranded with a brain bleed. he had frontal lobe damage. i spoke to a couple of the friend of one of the missing men. >> we we don't dean but we don't necessity guys involve. >> it is shocking. i grew up with the kid. he lived right in my neighborhood. it is crazy. >> that is another thing that doesn't make any sense we don't know any of the other guys, it doesn't seem like dean hung out with those guys. >> after being released last night dinardo did not return to his bensalem home. a worker strike at philadelphia international airport has been suspended, that is after the group announced their plan to strike last night, airport workers at newark international started striking last night, so did workers at jfk and laguardia in new york but we have learned that the workers and company they were striking against entered last minute discussions. workers said that the company refused to bargain with them.

were in danger of going under, eventually dozens linked arms and reached two boys age eight and 11 and others trapped in the current. >> seeing my husband, my mom, oldest daughter and youngest daughter but i didn't see my boys. they were screaming, crying at the time, but they could in the go anywhere. >> they kept yelling like help us, we can't do it. >> the chain rescued them all including barbara france pulled from the water unconscious after suffering a heart attack. she's expected to be okay and so is everybody else. >> that is wild. >> lets bring in katie. so hard to know what would you do in that situation. you hear but in the middle of that, you panic. >> what are you supposed to do , yeah. that is where we can come in and give you tips since it is beach season, obviously. first and foremost to avoid this is to know what the rip current looks like so you can avoid it in the first place. you're looking for a channel of choppy water in the opened water, remember rip currents

don't pull you under they pull you out so watch for that break in the pattern of incoming wave. that is what it looks like. they form on calm, sunny days very prone to be on the shoreline. you need to swim in front of the life guard but if you find yourself stuck in the rip current as it is pulling awe way, swim parallel to the shoreline, feel yourself get out of that and then swim back and again best way is to always swim by life guard and just looking for those signs of the choppy water, and find these rip currents around jetties, and peers and that kind of thing as well. storm scan taking a lah here very stormy, isn't it a cross parts of the wisconsin. this will roll our way through second half of the day, afternoon, evening we will have showers and thunderstorms that could be locally gusty and heavy toward afternoon and evening especially from the city north. in the meantime it is just hot wear light, loose fitting clothing, drink plenty of

police are investigating shooting death of two women in the north philadelphia fair hill section. officers covered up ready to yet a pickup truck where they found both woman with multiple gunshot wound. this happens on the north lawrence street just after midnight. truck's engine was still running when they arrived. >> it appears that the shooter , shooters fired multiple shots in the passenger side front door, some witnesses say both shoot ers were in the vehicle when they fired shots so possibly a drive by. >> so police have not made in a rests, they are interviewing eyewitnesses and checking surveillance video. well, authorities continue to scour a 90-acre property in bucks county for that evidence could lead to four missing men who vanished last week. >> that property belongs to the man police are calling a person of interest in the case "eyewitness news" reporter trang do back live near police station in solebury township with the very latest, good morning, trang do. >> reporter: good morning,

an alert for swimmers venomous creatures have turned up on the sand of long beach island. look at these photos from harvey cedars beach patrol. this is what a portuguese manowar looks like, found friday morning on the beach in harvey cedars. it is known for painful sting, rahel and long tentacles. it is unclear if any more might surface on the beach in the coming days. we have talk with the surfer who has been stung before i have been stung by 12 years ago actually and they heard real bad. burns pretty much. almost feels like you are on fire. >> in rare cases stings can be fatal and people allergic to bee stings can have similar
