several tornado warnings ended up across our region here yesterday. today i think the risk is low, but it is still a risk. it is another day that features potential for more severe storms, more severe weather. we take a look at storm scan3 locally, or more region wide, clusters of heavy rain, thunderstorms working their way at the moment either off shore, or right toward us, at this hour, so while we have enjoyed breaks in the stormy weather throughout the morning drive, as of the last couple of days, you won't get that this time around. this isn't quite an all day event. but it is a day that features that potential for showers, storms, really at any time. certainly this morning. then again toward the typical p.m. rush time. so, thanks a lot for that timing, mother nature, just to deal with t looking at the severe threat, slight risk, updated to slight risk yesterday around noontime for us, and we sit in that slight risk yet again here today, this time the lower two thirds, or, really more like the lower four-fifths. so, a broader zone that could ends up with that severe storm, severe storms throughout the day.
5:18 am
this morning, expect locally heavy downpours, brief break in the action, for lunchtime, but still, very steamy outside. then later this afternoon and evening, that threat returns for the strongest every any storms that we will fine out there today. also, the front that will be dropping in. here are the impact in terms every what looks to be the worse issue, heavy downpours, minor flooding concerns as a result, frequent lightning. winds also moderate issue. then hail and tornado activity would be low risk but risk nonetheless. future dew point, if you notice, zone in on one spot like fill fry now upright through the rest of the day, that number virtually will not change. so, even tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., you're still at dew point in the 70s. but, all if takes is that one hour or so, and it drops off dramatically. this is a model. it is important to note. however, we still are stuck with the heat, the humidity, no cents quite as hot as yesterday was, only mid 80s at the shore for example. only get peaks every sunday there too. i wouldn't call this the best beach day.
5:19 am
