drug dealers, turned deadly. notified all of their loved won and in as peaceful and respectful way as possible that we now have, them in a safe, place. bodies identified, and grizzly details revealed, tonight cosmo dinardo and sean kratz, cuss minutes crime, the family members confess being to the killings of the young men, who are missing, in bucks county. these charges come after around the clock efforts by investigators in the case that garnered national attention, good evening, i'm ukee washington. scope of the investigation was massive, stretching across bucks, montgomery counties and philadelphia from the home where cosmo dinardo was arrested in bensalem to the sprawling property in solebury township where bodies of the

men were located and today northeast philadelphia and ambler homes connected to sean kratz, and finally the doyletown courthouse where both men were arraigned on murder charges today. that is where we will find our alycia nieves with the very latest on this investigation, alycia. >> reporter: cosmo dinardo and his co conspirator sean kratz were arraigned here, a little while ago. they are in jail behind bars tonight they were denied bail. investigators say that this investigation, this murder investigation is by far largest they have ever had to deal with and new that there is some resolution, they are hoping that the family of the four victims may now start looking for some peace. it has been a week long mystery now solved with an unfortunate ending, police confirmed they have found bodies of the jimmy dean far chan owe, mark surges and tom meo. >> i feel, a lot of sadness and relief, and feel so proud

of my team. >> reporter: investigators with the bucks county district attorney's office with state, local police, even the s spi searched this massive property in solebury township for 96 hours non-stop, until finally a confession. cosmo dinardo admitted killing of the four men and showed police where bodies were. in exchange, for relief from the death penalty. police made that deal with the consent of a family of the four men killed. >> i hope that i'm never in their shoes but if i ever were , i pray that i could handle this with the courage and the dignity that they have exhibited. >> reporter: after dinardo confession, an alleged co conn speaker ton sean kratz was arrested and confessed with having a role in three of the murders. dinardo said he felt slighted during prior drug deals, kratz wanted to rob the men. both had been charged with criminal homicide. >> we brought four young men one step closer, to their loved won and so that they can

rest in peace. we're not here to make moral judgments on any of their actions. >> reporter: four bodies of the men who went missing last week were eventually found on the solebury property, and dean and tom meo were found in the deep grave more than 12 feet underground. what dinardo calls a pig roast on his parent's farm. mayo's body had been run over by a backhoe before it was buried. authorities found jimmy patrick's body still in the property at top of the hill that authorities described to be somewhat like a mountain. now again, both dinardo and sean kratz have been charged with criminal homicide, robbery, and abuse of corpse, a mcother charges. they both have preliminary hearing at the district magistrate's office at the end of this month. for now reporting live from doyletown alycia nieves for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you. we will of course continue to track any development in the, murder case stay on top of things here on "eyewitness news" and on our web site at

cbs philly.com. well, powerful storm continues to roll rel through area again more storms second straight day of severe weather lets get to meteorologist lauren casey tracking things for you, lauren. >> i've got good news as the severe weather threat is starting to come to an end. we have one lingering severe thunderstorm warning but these cells are slowly making their way off shore at this point but still getting rocked in portions of cape may county, once again, this afternoon abe evening. nearly continuous lightening heavy rainfall torrential in nature this cell will move off to the southe at 25 miles per hour. we are almost in the clear. we have a severe thunderstorm warning for portion of the kent county in delaware due to this cell that is still far off wind. not moving all too fast at 25 miles an hour but you do have potential, once that cell arrives to see 50 miles an hour wind and heavy rainfall and frequent lightening. good news though we have severe weather watch in effect for philadelphia and

surrounding suburbs that has been dropped. remains in effect for cape may county and portions of delaware until 9:00 this evening. once those storm exit cape may we will see that thunderstorm likely watch drop for your county. we have a flash flood warning that remains in effect for atlantic, cape may, cumberland , salem counties until 7:15 this evening but we will see improving conditions after another active, afternoon. we had damage to some car bin owes in west chester when those storms rolled through, some closed road, because of flooding in lower oxford township and buena vista. quarter sized hail in atlantic county. i will toss it out to when see ingram in phoenixville with the mobile weather watcher. we had storms roll through this. are things clearing out there, chelsea. >> things are looking much better, lauren. it is warm though, it is also humid. mobile weather watchers checking in with temperatures in the 70's. we also have dew points in the upper 60's. so still making it feel muggy. couple of breaks in the cloud

here and there but overcast sky. it does look like things are improving as we head in the evening hours tonight, as lauren was mentioning and especially as we head into this weekend for blob fest. we have temperatures in the upper 80's. that is a nice break compared to where we have been previously this week with those numbers in the 90's. upper 80's, we will see sunshine and a little bit of lower humidity as we head into your saturday, so that is great news for festivities, going on, and all of the food, all of the vendors, all of the music, after things are looking much wetter and things looking good tonight for run out as well thank goodness with the storm passing by to the south ande. let's pass it over to jessica with more on the colonial theater, jessica. >> all right, chelsea that is great news to hear everybody had their fingers crossed for better weather for this evening. we have moved inside because it was raining when we got here to phoenixville this afternoon. as she said things are looking better. but main event tonight

certainly kick off of blob fest, colonial theater right here on bridge street has quite a history, and it is immortalized in the colt favorite the blob. it was a starring role for a local landmark. >> most famous scene is running out of the movie theater attacked and it happens to be colonial. >> reporter: colonial theater sits right in the middle of downtown phoenixville, built in 1903 as an opera house it is owned by non-profit organization. >> as you walk in there that is the way it looked 100 years ago. lobby is different and it was renovated in 70 years ago. but it is 658 seats, it is wonderful house with great accoustics. >> reporter: it has a place in cinema history thanks to the blob, which was film in the area. >> since valley forge studios had a actual studio they shot interior there and when they needed to go on location they looked around surrounding area they went to valley forge park , downingtown diner, and they were looking around for

we are having fun. >> you know kate had a health scare she had pulmonary em bliss many in her arm, how is everybody doing. >> thank you, i'm doing so much better. it was scary. that is why i wanted to share it. one of the things you never think will happen to you. i'm young, healthy, pretty un eventful pregnant i but it was a freak thing and something that thank god i went to the hospital, i got checked out, pain's gone now and still having to give myself shots every day but that is better than alternative. >> never a dull moment with kate. >> never a dull moment whatsoever. >> now you guys are in phoenixville, kate's home town she's on the hall of fame at high school. >> i am, yes. >> is what your favorite thing about phoenixville. >> i am part of the class of 99. there is a club in phoenixville for those who grew up here we were in phoenixville before it was cool. you come down here now and main street is just, it is really beautiful. it is beautiful shops, coffee

ocean city we have sun trying to break through, quiet conditions aboard very soaked at this time. one person walk ago long, yeah on the wet boardwalk, maybe light rain still coming down but we are going to see drying conditions as strong portion of this cell is moving off shore right now but still some rain coming down at southern shore points extending up in atlantic city as well. lightening embedded in these cells so now is not time to head out on the beach. we will wait until this completely clears, and then moves off shore before that lightening threat comes to an end. we are dealing with activity, still going right now across portions of delaware, severe thunderstorm warning for small portion of the kent county delaware due to this cell still up win moving east/south e, slowly at 20 to 25 miles an hour but that does have potential to contain 60- mile an hour wind. storm with these cells today they written tense, millville up to 58-mile an hour gusts.

manning town township 55. new port, cumberland county, 50. mays landing a 50-mile an hour wind gusts but good news is a lot of the counties have been dropped off on the severe thunderstorm watch. remains in effect until 9:00 for portions of cape may county, central, southern delaware, elsewhere that watch has been cancelled including for center city philadelphia what to expect this evening? severe threat, coming to an end for most of us, we could see lingering thunder shower still maintain those strong storms well south of the city so we are talking about southern shore points and delaware where we could still see heavy rain and strong wind over next hour and two. but right now taking a live look at center city philadelphia, looking glummy on a friday evening, 75, we are not dealing with this sweltering heat at least rain cooled air, and entrenched in the area 76 in allentown. temperatures popping out to the west at 75. redding with sunshine peeking through but we are dealing with this sweltering humidity, dew points in the lower 70's,
