morning to you both. >> good morning, guys, happy tuesday. so matt we are working hand-in-hand today little bit because we are waking to up wet roadways, we know evidence by yesterday how busy it was. it will be busy today, even though we don't have as much rain. people still know i was sitting bumper to bumper yesterday. >> trying to avoid the traffic they had yesterday. and like you said, really out there right now, just maybe little bit of light patchy drizzle if we do see anything at all, more after mist that's more after nuisance than actual rain. you see on storm scan3, again, not much happening across the delaware valley. you get few light returns here , there, and that's really about it. but again, we are seeing that low hanging cloud cover. don't be surprised if as usual ' outside today walking around or going to the car or driving that you get the mist on the windshield. you'll have the windshield wipers going most likely at least little bit specially driving on the highways this morning, 67 degrees, our current temperature, northeasterly winds, that's on the back side of our front that came through yesterday. and that will actually shift even little more.

look for more of north or north best wind continuing to bring in the nice dry, less humid air. so our feels like temperature right now the same as our air temperature. rest of the region, couple of seven's further to the south, wildwood, dover, both 570 degrees, rest every us mid to upper 60s range. we will get into the 70s by about lunchtime today. some cloud cover, some sunshine, meisha, only 80 degrees for the high temperature today. and i know you don't want to hear it, but couple of spotty showers are out there. >> oh, don't say it hurts my ears. thanks so much. , matt. good morning, everybody, happy tuesday. so all right, we heard it, it will be really comfortable, i think a lot of people excited about the low humidity and 80s just getting through the morning commute, little mess i because starting off with red rose ways, whenever it is even damp it will slow us down. so had this is what the ben franklin bridge is looking like, see coming from jersey into center city traveling in the westbound direction, looking okay. starting to build levels little bit. that's fairly typical what it looks like on the ben franklin

bridge. looking okay there. burlington bristol bridge was up and then it went back down. so looking good there. big thumbs-up. accident here though. upper moore lan township. this one is involving injuries so, county line road at blair mill road. just heads up on that, and we also have an overturned vehicle out there, egg harbor township, garden state parkway northbound, before route 40, route 322, that good thing has just now been cleared. so looking good there. we do have couple of water main breaks out, there one mays landing, new jersey, route 40 westbound closed past weymouth, alternate 322 or a.c. expressway. talk more about this coming up in the next ten minutes, jim, back over to you. >> crews will be working to fix water main break this morning in philadelphia's fishtown section. the street was flooded at frankford avenue and thompson street over night after the water department said it found a 8-inch break. twelve property have no water, two other have water in their cellars. and in addition to nearby road closures, during the day, the route five bus will be detoured in this location. >> file this under things you

don't see every day. traffic on the ben franklin bridge back to normal this morning after little drama overnight. take a look, authority were called after two men climbed up one of the bridge towers, and then got stuck. now, we are told the pair climb up to spray paint graffiti on the tower, but then they were too afraid to come down the same way they came up. traffic needless to say was block while police worked to get two men down safely. no confirmation just yet but i'm assuming they're facing charges. >> no words on what called a man to explode in bustleton section, it led to electrical fire last night just after 11:00. >> this happened at cedarbrook avenue and greenwood road. no injuries were reported in the incident. >> well, a crucial shot on the senate floor today could make or break the gop plan it repeal and replace obama care. >> republicans must put for united front in order to push the legislation forward. trang do live in the cbs news center more, good morning, trang. >> good morning, that vote scheduled for noon today. all eyes will likely be on senator john mccain, who will

return to washington for this very important vote, just days after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. >> any senator who votes against starting debate, is telling america that you are fine with the obamacare nightmare. >> following a strong directive from president trump , the senate will vote whether to start debate on the house pass bill to repeal and replace the the healthcare act >> only way to consider ideas if senators are allowed to offer and debate them. >> if the vote is successful, they'll propose amendments to craft the bill into one that could garner enough support to pass. >> the big issue -- >> pennsylvania republican senator, pat toomey, made his vote clear, after an economic rounds table in west chester monday. >> the reforms in medication kade made it viable and sustainable, it is not sustainable now. >> if more than two republicans vote against it, debate will not proceed. at least dozen gop senators have come out publicly, and undecided or no's. >> i want it to be a clean

she didn't come back. last seen wearing bluejeans, peach sleeveless top and flip flops. she is 5 feet 2 inches. anyone with information is asked to call police. >> man fighting for his life after he was gun down in the mantua section of philadelphia now police are working to identify a suspect, and a motive. the shooting happened just after 9:00 last night on the 3900 block every brown street. police tell us the victim was shot at least 13 times. he was returned to the hospital where he is list in the critical condition. the driver of a tractor-trailer full of undocumented imigrants could spends the rest of his life in jail or even face the death penalty. ten people are dead after being found in the trailer in texas. reporter john loyer ends has the latest. >> james bradley, jr.; charged with knowingly transporting undocumented immigrants, that's after eight people were found dead inside a tractor-trailer in a sweltering san antonio parking lot. two others passed way and dozens more injured. denies the allegation saying he didn't know there were people crowd the in the back

say to ourselves okay, it came through, but did we get knit relief? today we have the relief for sure specially with the lower humidity. outside right now down at margate, our beach patrol headquarters cam are from the neighborhood network, waves crashing down this morning, overall down the beach today it is going to be nice day to be down there sitting on the sand. 82 degrees down at the shore. mostly sunny skies for the afternoon, and little built of patchy drizzle here this morning. but again, later on in the day it will be great. water temperature starting creep up. now up to 72 degrees, so it feels like now into the max heating time of the summer. feature weather for us today through the afternoon hours, it is going to see few spotty showers out there. so again, future weather does paint those in. we have some cloud cover that's going to be accompanying that spotty shower activity, so some cloud cover, some sunshine for thus afternoon, as we get toward the later evening, and then overnight tonight, it should actually remain dry, pretty much across the entirety of the region mostly cloudy skies wednesday future weather again

bumper conditions. now, throughout these trees, see the schuylkill, moving in the eastbound direction, toward center city, hard to see, but also pretty slow, slow going that way, as well, so just heads up. schuylkill westbound, eastbound, around city avenue, traveling little built slow. good news we had accident here in upper moreland township that's now since been cleared. jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you shall meisha. well, surveillance cameras catch a sports car go airborne into a creek, this all happened in the suburb every milwaukee. >> 1980s jaguar was speeding down a road when it hit a rock well, that sent it flying over a parking lot entrance, did full rotation before then landing in a creek on august 4 wheels. eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to be dozing off moment before the crash. but amazingly, he and that passenger are okay, but the car is totaled. >> well the eagles are in training camp in south philly right now. >> fans are looking forwards to staying with carson wentz and the off season ac which significance, pat with more on

so this obviously is a huge camp for him. the second thing to look at, the new weapons that the eagles have. like al sean jeffrey, tori smith, how will they america with carson wentz? jefferies is the best play maker that he needed to add to the off season, had down year in chicago last season. tori smith will be asked to stretch the field and be wentz 's main deep threat. something that has been missing since desean jackson left town. and then let's not forget about work horse running back, le garrett blunt. a superbowl with the new england patriots last year, will be asked to take pressure off of carson wentz in the backfield. and the thirds and final thing to look at for eagles training camp will be jaylynn mills. the leered of the secondary this year. the birds decided not to make a huge splash at cornerback in free agency. so mills is the guy who will be task with stopping some of the best wide receivers in the nfl like odel beckham junior,

like dez bryant, so many other star wide outs, as well it, will not be an easy task but he is the least corner now, hopefully be hemmed by robinson who will likely be the starter opposite of mills. it is likely their most weak position certainly one that needs to be focused on throughout camp. yesterday tori smith getting here acclimated when new teammate, and his family was here, as well. his son, son's ready to rock. >> e-a-g-l-e-s, eagles! >> i like to get back in the routine, get back working toward being the best team that we can be. so fun, enjoyed the break, and time to get ready for the real thing. >> so how about that little guy giving the eagles chant. you got to love. that will training camp underway. it will start in a couple of hours behind me here at the nova care complex but again thursday is the key day when really everyone shows up. so those are three things that eagles fans need to keep an eye on, so many more story lines obviously, jim, rahel, but let's keep an eye on those

on the late show tonight? >> charlie rose. >> i just tweeted it out. >> very, very exciting. >> looking forward to it. >> matt, also very excited about this weather. you say the rain's moving out? >> the rain is moving out. and i got to tell you guys, out here on the skydeck, i know those of us from the eyewitness weather team we sometimes get a little ansy about coming out here because it is usually hot, and humid in the summertime. it feels fantastic this morning. now, there isn't a ton of sunshine hine me, unfortunately, some cloud cover, but i have to tell you the humid it is down, the temperatures feel just fantastic. and it will be like that throughout the afternoon. our temperatures are going to be a little bit below average. again, the thing that you'll notice stepping out the door this morning, lack of humidity , right now, across the region, mount pocono coming in at 61 degrees down the shore, 69. and here in philly right smack dab in the middle with our temperature of 67. again, not a ton every sunday shine here early on, but overall, it could get little bit more sunny later this afternoon, storm scan3, showing couple of light, light spotty showers, trying to

develop, it is not going to be a wash out after day. but, we can't rule out maybe a stray light shower from time to time later this afternoon. we had our cold front came through yesterday. now, giving us this much drier weather, we see dew point right now in the 60s instead of in the low 70s, like what we had yesterday, where we had the oppressive range of humidity, now down into more than a comfortable range specially when you compare it to where it has been. getting a look across the region today, it will be warmest down the shore at 82, zero eight here in fill, later this afternoon up to 71 in the poconos. we do have second rounds though unfortunately of some showers, some thunderstorms towards the end of the work week, we will talk about that when i come back inside in just a minute. >> matt, thank you so muchment tac-pal bridge up earlier, came back down, now going back up again at some point. i think 6:40 what they're saying, so we'll see seven, eight minutes or so, see that coming up. see what happens there. i'll let you below it does and of course whether comes back down. vine at the schuylkill what you are look being at, there some movement, starting to slow down approach the schuylkill, and 422 at trooper many taillights moving in the

house gilbertsville this morning, little cloudy. she says soggy start to the day after almost inch and a half of rain yesterday. so again, wet, wet monday for us across the area, good news, while there are couple of showers as possibility today, not going to be anything like what we had been seeing the last couple of afternoons. waking up again, those temperatures that are in the 60s, for the most part, couple of seven's still seen out there down to the south. overall, though, we are going to continue to see very comfortable conditions, all the way through the daytime hours. we are going to be hopefully seeing some lower humidity, my clicker giving me little bit of a trouble here there is morning, so unfortunately just stuck on temperatures, trust me the humidity will be lower this morning, and it will be lower this afternoon, we will go with high temperature today , meisha, 80 degrees, so much, much more comfortable. still little dzhokhar it out there. i know folks probably experiencing that. >> all right, matt, hey i hear you on the clicker thing.

sunday, santa claus is coming to town. this weekend is the 21st annual christmas in july, motorcycle toy run. and jim is outside our studios in park parking lot now with some special guests to talk all about it, hi, jim. >> reporter: that is right, rahel, and get a loath of this look at these bikes, this is so exciting. now there is event benefit patient at shriners hospital for children. joining me this morning, joe mays on, with the philadelphia chapter of the send tour yan, and stephanie pie byra with shriners hospital joining us this morning, good morning to you both. >> thanks for having us. >> for folks not familiar. how did they get involved. what's this exactly about? >> this is our 21st annual toy run. that means, 21 years ago, one of the wives of one of the founding members was actually a shriners kid. so when we were talking about doing a charity or putting something together she said why don't we do a toy run, drop toys over for the kids. that first year seven guys went out, they brought 15 toys , and 100 bucks with them. now in our 21 year, we're

donated to date over $305,000. >> wow. >> thousands of toys. it has just become a thing, as if you're send tour yan, this is what you are living for. >> how does this benefit shriner? >> so shriners hospital, pediatric orthopedic hospital. all of these toys really carry us through until the actual giving season. often times people, you know, are so generous in the holiday time, then summertime kind of get slow with donations of toys. so between the toys and the money it really carries us through. >> how do the guys, and women, take part and are part of the this? >> last year we had close to 500 bikes made it out there. we have chapters come down from canada, guys up from north carolina, the entire area, this is our big day, this is what we do. >> stephanie this is really significant, i mean, when they are coming down the path there , i mean, everyone get excited? >> yes, 95 is closed down, broad street, they come up, and the motorcycles are running, and the kids are just so excited. we're outlined on broad street on the sidewalk, and, you know
