. at 11:00 a record catch, but not so fast. why new jersey officials say this big fish cannot go down in the record books. >> the gop healthcare bill revived. president trump and senate republicans achieve a crucial victory in their efforts to repeal and replace the affordable care act. first, a rash of batter thefts from cars and in each case, thieves are going after the same kind of vehicle. philadelphia police say jeep wranglers have been targeted ukee washington. >> i'm jessica dean. >> newly released surveillance video shows the thefts taking place in broad daylight. henry is live at 20th and lombard plus the easy thing owners can do to prevent becoming a victim. >> reporter: police say this is a growing problem city-wide with thieves selling each battery they steal. they hope surveillance video captured will draw the public's

with a cut to his hand. so far no, charges have been filed. "eyewitness news" learned allentown mayor is expected to be indicted tomorrow. mayor attorney tells us he will not know details until it unsealed tomorrow. we do note indictment is the result of a lengthy grand jury investigation, you may recall his office was raided in 2015. nine people pleaded guilty in connection with the pay to play scandal. he's currently running for a fourth term as mayor republicans vote to begin debate on the latest bill to partisan the affordable care act. senator john mccain traveled back to washington after being diagnose wanted i brain cancer and after the vote urged his colleagues to work together. >> at his sixth rally since taking office, president trump congratulated on starting the process to overhaul healthcare

week, details coming up. a judge granted an injunction to stop drilling on sunoco pipeline. the 350 mile pipeline will carry liquid natural gas from ohio and across pennsylvania to a processing facility in marcus hook. the issue goes before the pennsylvania public utility commission. west goshen township filed for the injunction after complaints over water service interruptions and other issues. a sunoco says in statement, we believe that the full hearing before the environmental hearing board will demonstrate that we have expended every effort to meet the strict conditions of our environmental permits. already voluntary suspended work on a number of drills and will continue nonhtd construction throughout the state with safety and protection of pennsylvania environment. authorities are searching

for a man attacking a septa transit police sergeant in southwest philadelphia. the body cam video shows her getting out of the car to confront a suspect last night when he quickly shoved her to the ground. this happened at 58th and angora. if you can identify the suspect, call police. the sergeant will be ok. police are also looking for two women wanted for an assault and robbery at an atm in center city. the women seen in this video walked up to a woman at a td bank, punched her and stole her bank card and cash. it's located in the 100 block of south broad. it happened after midnight july 13th. if you recognize this woman, call police. a dangerous stunt two men are arrested after authorities say they scaled the ben franklin bridge to take pictures. they shutdown power to the patco line so police could remove the pair. they were identified as martin row marrow clark of new york

your full forecast. things have cooled down >> it has cooled down, definitely feels more like september today compared to, well, late july. we should be in the upper 80's for this time of year. that's not the case, we'll take you to a live look outside, we have the clouds around, we dealt with the clouds pretty much all day. we'll see a mostly cloudy skies as we head to the overnight hours. we're tracking just a stray sprinkle here and there on stormscan 3, but overall, things have quieted down and we're looking at a quiet night in store with mostly cloudy skies skies, 79 degrees today in philadelphia, well below average for this time of year. the average is 87. felt more like mid septemberish out there. places like philadelphia, allentown, we have 69, millville, down the shore in wildwood around 71, 69 in atlantic city. it is 66 currently in trenton,

due points are in the low mid 60's out there. of couple of upper 60's, wilmington, millville, earlier in philadelphia we had the due points in the lower 60's, felt more comfortable out there. remember, due point kind of tells you how comfortable it is going to feel and tomorrow it's going to feel pleasant, we'll have due points in the upper 50's and lower 60's, then that steam factor will be returning to the forecast as we head into thursday. and also friday. really enjoy tonight. and also your wednesday because it is going to be feeling more humid very soon. quiet day on tap, we'll have a lot in the way of cloud cover but i'm calling for partly cloudy skies because i think by afternoon we'll get breaks of sunshine, a warm front will swing through on thursday, followed by a cold front to end the week. we'll be monitoring an area of low pressure. strong to severe weather once again especially as we head to

thursday night and friday. the main threats will be damaging wind gusts, also heavy rain and we'll have to watch for the potential for more flash flooding. the ground is already so saturate d from a lot of rain we've received so far this week, and look what we've had so far. it has been a wet july, reading, just under eight inches of rain so far, under seven and a half in allentown and wilmington right around 6.3. trenton just under five and a half inches and just under five in philadelphia. you add heavy rain potential on top of that and we'll be talk bog you having to watch for flooding issues by the end of the week, once again. down the shore, plenty of sunshine, we're in the 80's thursday and fridays and we'll have to watch out for the chance for more thunderstorms, overnight temperature of 65, as we head to wednesday, plenty of sunshine and comfortable. . it will be nice with a high
