mayor's powers. according to the charter they can only do so and ask him to leave office if convicted. reporting live in allentown, david spunt, cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> thank you. authorities arrest a man captured on video attacking a septa transit police sergeant. he turned himself in tonight. sergeant's body cam shows him confronting the suspect near 58th and baltimore on monday. he quickly shoved her to the ground. officers say the man was trespassing on the tracks. the sergeant suffered a back injury. we're following a developing story at least one person is dead. seven others are injured after a ride malfunctioned at the ohio state fair in columbus. officials say the ride called the fire ball broke apart and threw people through the air. five of the injured are in critical condition. governor john kasich ordered all fair rides be shut down. prosecutors say a man made deadly delivery bringing in a

lethal dose of illegal drugs to a patient montgomery county hospital. the charges that man is now facing. henry? >> reporter: ukee, we printed out a copy of the statute the district attorney here is looking to use to go after drug dealer whose contribute to overdose deaths. it reads, i can tell you, a lot like a regular homicide statute. meaning the man who walked into the hospital behind me is now accused of bringing drugs with him. is facing up to 40 years in prison. he was delivering it to -- it was to a hospital. a place where people go to be healed and helped. and for that, travis suit is charged with drug delivery resulting in death. district attorney said the known drug dealer made five trips in five days to see and sell to sierra had drick, two bags of heroin $20, one bag, $10, add

results. republican steve scalise is out of the hospital six weeks after being shot and critically wounded. officials tweeting scalise say he's starting intensive inpatient rehabilitation. he was shot june 14th when a man opened fire on a congressional republican baseball practice in virginia. the national constitution center is giving away free tickets to people who want to see john mccain receive the liberty metal. you can apply for the limited number of tickets on the center's website starting august 15th. the free tickets will be given out based on random drawing. senator mccain will be given a liberty metal on october 16th. it's no the clear if the senator's recently announced battle with brain cancer will impact the plans to come to philadelphia for the honor. stay off the beach and do not go in the water >> that's the wanting down the shore and straight ahead why officials have closed several new jersey beaches in recent days. angelina jolie opens up. new health struggling she's

. new jersey officials closed beaches at the shore because of elevated levels of bacteria in the ocean. some of the beaches are in atlantic city county atlantic city somer's point and ventnor, officials placed warning signs and told put people to stay out of the ocean, too much bacteria in the water can cause stomach sickness, rashes, officials say heavy rain caused bacteria and pollution to run off into the ocean. >> they told us to get out of the water. it was dirty. i'm like that's nice. i can't believe i was in it. i'm like worried this let's go take a shower. >> authorities say they will evaluate the water on a daily

basis and reopen the bacteria counts are back to normal. passengers at u.s. airports will soon face measures for screening electronic devices bigger than a cell phone. travelers will now be asked to take all large devices including tablets out of their bags and put them in separate bins similar to screening of laptops. officials say it gives x-ray screenerers a clearer picture of the device. the new procedure will start at airports in the next few weeks. health watch, new implant is helping people with foot pain avoid surgery it acts like a shock absorber, currently approved in the u.s. for the big toe but doctors are using in it patients suffering arthritis in other small joints in the hand and foot. the implant could be especially popular for women who wear high heels and end up with achy feet. >> a lot of happy patients thrilled about the motion. they get a significant decrease in the moving pain directly

after surgery. >> that surgery usually takes about a half hour, a canadian study shows the a 91% success rate in reducing pain and improving motion >> angelina jolie is opening up about her divorce from brad pitt and her healthy. she developed high blood pressure and bells palsy last year. it led one side of her face to droop. she credits were acupuncture for her full recovery. she also talked about her relationship with pit. she said they care for each other and family and working towards the same goal. there could soon be another honor for late philadelphia boxing icon smoking joe fraser. a new petition called forry naming glenwood avenue in north philadelphia joe frazier boulevard. organizers say the petition started by his daughter collected nearly 6,000 signatures. fraser died of complications from liver cancer in 2011.
