saturday, yielding widespread heavy rainfall and flash flooding. it's in effect for a large portion of the area including center city philadelphia friday afternoon through saturday afternoon we're talking about two, three, four plus inches of rainfall and because we had those amounts over the last 7 days we have significant threat of floodin flooding. we'll talk more about the timing of the rainfall and where we see highest totals. >> lauren, thank you. >> developing now newcastle country police are involved in running gun battle with a robbery suspect in wilmington tonight. an officer attempted to stop a suspect on west silver road. gunfire was exchanged and suspect took off. several more shots were fired during a foot chase. police arrested the suspect 7 and green hill and arrested two additional suspect in the scene. no one was hurt. investigators in ohio are trying to figure out how the fireball ride at center of

mainly dry conditions and thunderstorm cell moving eastbound towards lancaster county and we have a threat of popup downpour or thunderstorm throughout the overnight period.. isolated in nature. otherwise, cloudy, quite muggy and quite warm falling back to 72. for our day tomorrow, still a bit below average. 85. i think we can see a shower or two in the morning and the main event is is going -- as we head to friday afternoon, friday evening and friday night with areas of heavy rainfall developing and imbedded thunderstorms as well and we have a flash flood watch in effect much of the area including senter is yilty philadelphia. friday afternoon through saturday afternoon period of heavy rain, two to four inches of rainfall possible throughout the time frame and we're con it happeneding with rainfall we saw over the last seven days. that's going to be a factor and potential flooding and we could see could see significant road
