>> i don't really have a ton to tell you other than it looks like all-in-all, nice day, back to clear skies, coy see shower thunderstorm pong up at some point this afternoon. don't think this will be a widespread concern, currently mid to upper 60s, low 70s, depending where you are. look at mount pocono, also dropped off since last check, interesting because tech particularly the sun just came up. will start to rebound from here, as we go through the day pretty substantial rebounds. go from the 50's in the poconos, back to the 80s, and go from the 60s or low seven's in philly, back to the 90s could see spotty shower or thunderstorm, but at the shore probably evening out totally dry day. also little hazy start there. that said because you have the little bit of moisture to work with here helping to create bit of haze, certainly feels somewhat steamy but as the day goes on it is primarily sunny.

>> the baby was check out at hospital. authorities say this is not the first time lopez has had a run in with the law. on a chase last september that nearly ended in a car crash. >> well the search is intensifying for the deadly shooting in haverford township now offering $5,000 reward for information leading to arrest. twenty-nine year old john lee was gunned down saturday night , in what appears to be random shooting. the suspect in that shooting was caught on a security camera leaving the scene, in a red hoodie. one resident heard the gunshot , and says the suspect may have walk by her home right after the shooting. >> i was upset i didn't get to up see, but you don't think that's happening here. >> police also linking this suspect to another shooting in philadelphia's overbrook section. that shooting happened about 45 minute prior to the one in half ton township. one person, no one injured in that shooting.

>> tropical storm emily has been reclassified as a tropical depression after making landfall in florida. >> the storm landed on florida 's west coast monday morning. the system dumped several inches of rain and pack winds in excess of 40 miles per hour and despite the downgrade, at the height of the storm, 18,000 were without power, and 31 counties were under a state of emergency. meanwhile, sands dunes built to protect communities during devastating storms are causing problems in margate. the dunes are part of a beach project stirring up controversy. margate's mayor and some neighbors say the dunes are blocking the water from draining properly. the army corps of engineers

this might be your beach week and out at the shore, is emily going to have impact whatsoever on your plans to be on the beaches? nothing directly whatsoever. this storm, as we mentioned, also has been downgrade today depression, and it looks like it will stay on this northeasterly track, not even hitting the portions of carolina coastline, stowe does stay out to sea. it could, however, churn up the surf little bit toward week's end. need to keep an eye on that possibility, possibly kicks up stronger surf, some rip current, so keep an eye on, that always swim near the lifeguards anyway as general rule. in the next couple of days stays pretty hot, scattered showers, storms to dodge wednesday, thursday, friday. by saturday though front crosses through, and it turns brighter and less humid through the weekend, meisha. >> all right, katie, thank you so much. turning our attention right away to new jersey and what's happening out there. earlier this morning talking about all morning an accident investigation, in gloucester township, new jersey, three vehicle accident, happened earlier around 2:00 a.m. forty-two northbound, closed between college drive and

route 534. i'm going to show you a back up shot in just a moment. this is live chopper three, however. that is over actually where traffic is being diverted, from 42, onto college drive. and what happened as you were being diverted, we have now an overturned tractor-trailer. and you can see, that this is quite a mess. lot of people walking around here, as well. so, individually, one car after another is having to squeeze by here. again, this is where you're being diverted off from where that accident investigation was underway. so i'm going to take from chopper, take a look at this, so all of these vehicles are driving up toward where that accident investigation is. and then, you're getting off at college drive, where you just saw that overturned tractor-trailer. so all these vehicles, single handedly trying to squeeze by, and i can tell you it is an absolute mess in terms of how long you're going to be sit ting in this. even your alternates, 168, route 55, you're still going

temperatures, which again, is just shy of what it start to feel little humid. now at the moment, storm scan nice and clear. we are promised and already seeing i should say an absolutely gorgeous sunrise take place, storm scan is empty it, will generally stay that way. at some point this afternoon or evening, though, i would not be shock to see quit pop up shower or thunderstorm, in just couple of of spot. most of us stay clear, most of us stay dry, most of us seeing nothing but sunshine, get pretty hot out there. all of that said, too, it is milder than yesterday. sixty-nine the current temperature at wilmington, at 72 at the airport, still only in the 50's in mount pocono. but as the day goes on we will definitely heat up easily up that way, as well, and even though, again, you might see spotty shower or storm, most every us do stay dry. that certainly is the case at the shore today. 86 degrees for you at the area beaches. all the way up to 91 in philadelphia. so it is a hot day, but it is august. it is not all that atypical for us to see these kind of temperatures, generally, with the sunshine, too, now coming up we do start to see not only
