lane and boulevard, the left lane is blocked in, both directions here as well awe can see crews out on foot. take it easy. more construction when we come back in a little bit. jim, back over to you. police in delaware county are investigating a fighting at a gas station this happened at sunoco station on east 22nd street at edgemont avenue in chester. you can see a car riddled with bullets, we're told victim is in critical condition. there is no word on a motive or suspect. meanwhile also new this morning a man is shot outside an abandon home in the cities kensington section this happened on the 1800 block of east college tine street just before 1:30. we are told that the 19 year-old victim was with a group of friend when a car pulled up. the driver quickly fired shots into the crowd and then took off. that victim is in stable condition. a manhunt is underway in montgomery county this morning after a woman is sexually assaulted while out for a jog. >> victim was attacked yesterday morning while she was running in norristown farm

park. >> "eyewitness news" reporter frank does live where the attack happened. so trang do, what can you tell us. >> reporter: well, jim and rahel, montgomery county d.a. 's office and east and west norriton police are handling this police do not have much to go off of so they are appealing to the public to get this dangerous man off of the streets before he attacks again. a heinous attack in broad daylight, on tuesday triggered a shot dunn and manhunt around norristown farm park. >> that is crazy, nothing would i expect here, so, like i said i'm here all the time. >> reporter: around 10:50 a.m. 19 year-old woman called to report that she had been sexually assaulted at gunpoint inside the park month. man told police she was running when a man pulled her off of the trail in the wooded area. >> it could have been me, it could have been anyone else. >> reporter: it hits too close to home for 18 year-old, saunders who wrapped up a run at the park just 20 minutes before the attack. >> i can't believe i missed it

by 20 minutes. it is really just nerve rack to go me. >> reporter: police closed the 690-acre park to search for evidence. nearby norristown state hospital was also lock down as officers searched for the attacker. for now people who once enjoyed a care free stole at the park are now taking extra precautions. >> i'm a little nervous to go back out there i will share with my office co-workers and let them know and hopefully we will buddy up and not walk alone. >> reporter: victim described her attack as a black male wearing a black mask and dark hooded sweat shirt. anyone with information is asked to contact the d.a.'s office or east or west nor it town police. we're live from norristown farm park i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news", jim and rahel, back to you. police on the man line said they are hot on the trail of the suspect wanted in the deadly shooting. $5,000 reward is offered for capture of 24 year-old derek rollins, you see right there on your screen there investigators say that rollins

shot and killed john lee near haverford road on saturday. investigators say rollins was involved in another shooting incident in overbrook park, less than an hour before. weekend murder was on the minds of haverford township residents and officials taking part in national night out, despite their concerns though residents came out last night to give thanks to first responders who, of course, worked so hard every day to protect the community. annual event held across the country is designed to bring together police with the communities that they serve. well, we're expect to go get an update on the investigation of the murder in gloucester county earlier this summer. chopper three was over woolwich township, home of the 47 year-old michelle long, this is back in june. long was found in a swimming pool in her cause of death determined to be blunt force trauma. at the time, gloucester county prosecutors were told, told citizens there were no safety concerns but for other residents but there have been no arrests. meanwhile investigators have released several image from his surveillance cameras of the man wanted in baby formula thefts in bucks county police say this man took bottles of the formula from the target store on rockhill drive-in bensalem sunday afternoon. police tell cbs-3 this is not the first time the suspect has been spotted doing the same thing. they say the suspect got away in an older model red pickup truck. sit leaders are meet to go day to discuss a controversial

construction project mid ander from residents. recent ranks have left large pools in, margate beaches and sitting in newly built sand dogs. army core of engineers is working to pump the water out. residents blame the san dues dunes. today city leaders will discuss whether to seek a court injunction to stop the project. in the meantime all beach that he is have standing water are closed until further notice. new jersey governor chris christie signed a bill that gives back pay to new jersey state work's expected by this summer's three day governmental shut down. remember governor ordered non- essential government services closed from july 1st through 3rd but lawmakers could not gree on the state budget. christie signed 359 billion-dollar budget by the july 4th holiday. recent new york times report says that president trump is preparing to sue universities over a affirmative action. according to the times, the white house wants the justice department to investigate certain universities. the president is reportedly targeting schools with admissions policies, that make it preference to students based on race.

in 2016 the supreme court upheld the right of universities to use diversity, in their admissions. the u.s. says it is willing to talk with north korea if the communist country stops pursuing nuclear weapons secretary of state rex tillerson made the announcement yesterday, on friday north korea successfully launched a missle capable of reaching the u.s. tillerson says he hopes two countries can have a dialogue but not if the u.s. feels constantly threaten. >> we're trying to convey to the north koreans we are not your enemy we are not your threat but you are presenting an unacceptable threat to us and we have to respond. we hope that at some point, they will begin to understand that. >> tillerson also said china is in a unique position to put pressure on north korea china account for 90 percent of trade but tillerson added that china is not to blame for north korea's actions. white house is slamming venezuela's government after two opposition leaders were

back on "eyewitness news" this morning two men are in critical condition after a shooting in east mt. airy. police say a vehicle pulled up to the victim's vehicle on the 7700 block of williams avenue and opened fire. the driver was shot in the head and a passenger was hit in the chest. investigators say a passenger in the back seat jumped in the driver's seat and raced the two victims to einstein hospital, the gun man remains at large. a spokesmen for bill cosby tells "eyewitness news" that the entertainer hopes to have a new lawyer by the end of the month. brian mcgonigle who served as cosby's lead attorney and defended him against sex

assault charges filed paperwork to withdraw from the case yesterday. a judge will consider his request at a hearing later this month. cosby's first trial ended in a mistrial, and jurors were dead locked after deliberating for 52 hours. cosby will go on trial again in november. former reading mayor vaughn spencer will remain free, on bail, until his trial on federal corruption charges. prosecutors say that spencer told businesses and individual s that city contracts would be withheld until they made campaign contributions. spencer and allentown married he had pawlowski were indicted last week. pawlowski also entered a not guilty plea. out west now teen traveler jumps off an airplane and authorities want to know y it happened after the plane landed yesterday at san francisco international airport, the flight originated in panama city. passenger said they opened an emergency exit and jumped out because teen acted so quickly in one had a chance to stop him. >> he just jumped on the wing and starts climbing down and
