we had round of showers on the outskirts of the greater delaware valley and anything out is there out to sea at the moment. we are looking okay. i don't think we will need umbrella here initially and all and all a nice clear rain sky at the moment. as day go on, you will notice it somewhat sticky and hot, heading to the upper 80's, we're off to a mild start. mid to upper 60's regional wide but you'll notice that the wind flow is quite light and is there definitely again humidity in the atmosphere. that is where this fog has started to develop, and, now that the sunnies coming up, it will do its part to scour ate way. as datings on we will hit 89 degrees. another hot, muggy day. with time some showers and thunderstorms will fire up, and it is in scattered fashion , granted but they could pop up, would i say as early as just after lunchtime. so we will need to keep an eye on the radar. we will certainly do that for you. but as we look ahead the un settled weather does continue to round out our workweek, and then, the upcoming weekend brings about some transition, so we will let you know how much of it features that potential of wet weather coming up, meisha.

katie, so do you think it is after lunchish. >> for today, yes. >> yep. >> okay good to know, all right, thank you so much. looking outside right now, our biggest worry thinks overturned tractor trailer. so 422 eastbound the on ramp from trooper is closed. you the sound like a dairy truck, southbound, trooper is closed at audubon road. what we're starting to see is a lot of vehicles starting to hit the roadway. so this will start to pose a problem. ram that we would typically tell to you eyes alternate is closed. route 23 ramp to route 422 eastbound is close through late fall. so you can access 422 eastbound from this alternate first avenue ramp. you can also do so from egypt road. so those will be your two best alternates to maneuver around them. as we do have a car fire as well pennsylvania turnpike westbound before mid county that right lane is compromised take a look at this in longer traveling at posted speed, lots of yellow to let you know we're dropping below and we have a building fire here and a accident fitzwater town road at route 63, willow grove is

rehoboth. i have noticed that. elsewhere we have seen overnight handful of showers and thunderstorms but we have been devoid of that, they have been out to sea orificeled before they got here but with time we will see more showers and thunderstorms popping up. they should be scattered in nature, probably more scattered then they were yesterday and they may not be quite so slow moving. granted you could still get hit with a locally drenching downpour but today is a day where it may be just your call , i personally would take it out the door with you, if you do not want to get wet or stuck under a thunderstorm but not everyone will get hit. looking at water temperatures we will hit the beach here it looks like a good beach day. generally our temperatures on the water are in the mid 70's, cooler as it has been known to be on the sea isle but by comparison you are flirting with 80-degree water out of cape may for example but it will be warm, muggy at the shore. 84 degrees. that water temperature primarily in the mid 70's up and down new jersey shore and delaware beaches. now offer time a front crosses

hearing reports, that is good news but just a head up, we will still be slow, around that area plus we have a car fire here, lets take a look at this two lanes blocks pennsylvania turnpike westbound before mid county bumper to bumper conditions only 9 miles an hour at best, jim, back over to you. washington man's quick reflections saved his life, he was driving along a busy freeway when debris came flying through his windshield. this is the chunk of the debris a steel plate from a brake drum that fell off of a semi or older truck. roughly 5-pound plate hit him in the shoulder and caused bruce bug he was not seriously hurt. well, ford motor companies looking into why their vehicles are leaking carbon monoxide. yesterday three massachusetts police officers were hospitalized for co exposure. another department, other departments across the country are voicing similar concerns, car respondent john lawrence has more. >> reporter: there more reports of carbon monoxide seeping into ford vehicles

that includes galveston police department. they have taken their ford explorer suv off the road so dealer can look for leaks. >> they will check seals, weather stripping, specifically back hatch door to assure no exhaust will get in through back hatch or doorways. >> reporter: department contacted ford after officer felt light headed something more serious in massachusetts. a police officer in auburn passed out behind the wheel wednesday and hit another car that officer and at lee two others had exposure to carbon monoxide. department tested its vehicles and took nine out of service. >> tighten things up. we have spare tires that we use for road detail work and things like that and those are not on the car anymore. >> reporter: fear of leaks forced other police departments in other areas including austin texas to ground some of their suvs. ford issued a statement to all deal their said in part fords investigation into this issue

international airport where that observation is being taken. keep in mind you might run into outlying suburbs relatively poor visibility because of this but now that the sun's up it will do its part to scour out cloud cover. at the moment temperatures in the upper 60's, we have more southeasterly wind flow and know that the wind is still calm and that is what you need for fog to develop in the first place but regardless now that the sun up that will become a non-issue. the showers, thunderstorms are what becomes next issue at hand. they will somebody what scattered, they could be locally drenching. i don't expect that they will be slow moving and i don't think they will be widespread as they were yesterday, so it is your call as to whether you take umbrella with you or not, personally would i if you north a fan of getting drenched. you just never know since this is variety of the showers and storms, meisha that can pop up anywhere, anytime especially second half of the day, and back to you. >> more of the nuisance,
