had gone through there. so real hard to tell that the wind is strong enough even if straight line could have pushed that car. so again, that's why we will be sending out survey crew. that's why we are going to await the final determination from them, but, regardless of what it was, it was certainly a damaging storm. and yesterday, brought so much rainfall to our area, especially for the poor folks down south of philadelphia. much of delaware, good portion of southern new jersey, got absolutely crushed with that soaking rain. and, specifically, jamie, who is out in the dividing creek, in new jersey, she is way south, in new jersey, here, told thaws over the last half hour, it has been about 67 degrees, just still got some cloud cover out there. but, it is so much calmer. she ended uproared g 4.4 inches of rain in her backyard from that storm. and there were numerous places where you pick up similar totals. let's go to another more southerly location, andy reporting just cloud cover.

68 degrees. he does have pretty high humidity, but at least thankfully things have gun to dry out across good portion of delaware and he hasn't actually seen too much movement on the thermometer. start to see bit more of that as the day goes on before we head back to the maps here, i do want to show you couple of pictures, still seen few dries , reported by phil, just to indicate picture of some leaves out in his backyard, still little damp. there is a bit of color in that sky. and starting to clear out specially the further north and west you go. and it is out in chesterfield, though, still quite gray. so again, this is the day of transition, as i always like to call it, just need little more time. notice however, you are talking about completely clear skies right now, beautiful sunrise currently underway back through western pennsylvania, we just need the time for this to get out of here. so it will eventually ends up with more sun than anything. now eventually, high pressure will yield to another disturbance that moves in. but for now, you can see how quiet, how clear it is, off to the west, that is with us for the next couple of days. so through the rest of today,
6:48 am
once we clear out. then beyond, even toward tomorrow, the day beyond that, things just look very tranquil at the moment, our dew points are still kind of depends where you are, still noticable from philly on southeast. but starting to drop off, and feel bit more comfortable the further north you go, allentown more comfortable than it is in wildwood, for example. but we will feel that drop in humidity everywhere as the day goes on. mid 80s in the sunshine, through thursday, friday though when the beginning of the next rounds of unsettled weather get underway. so i'm thinking it is only spotty showers on friday. but saturday, sunday, could feature few more widespread showers and storms, so, not the prettiest weekends forecast we've ever seen, meisha. >> no, it is not. but at least today we don't have what we saw yesterday for our morning commute. thanks so much, katie. looking out there right now. things are looking good. a lot better than we were yesterday. but it is certainly starting to build levels it, has really all morning long, and then we hit a stride later, now in the 6:00 hour starting bumm up again. fifty-nine south approaching the betsy ross bridge, looking
